Five years had gone by in a blink of an eye,
" Where am I ? " said John as he looked around as far as he could see, it was empty space with everything looked blue in all directions as one's eyes can go.
A boy looking with black hair and greenish blue eyes was looking at surroundings. ' this place is so quiet, that it gives me chills even after seeing and experiencing for a few times. There should be end to it somewhere. I have already walked few times like this but I have never reached to it's end.'
Still he believed that something was telling him or it may be his own intrusive thought , that the end of this place was straight ahead.
As John walked forward after some time he could see a triangle shape in front of his eyes, the three triangles end were meating at centre and he realised that he was standing on the blue on while in his front were red and black.
He slowly walked towards the end of the blue , when he reached there he tried to enter both but couldn't enter in either one. Two blurred figures could be seen on each other side of John. They couldn't not enter the blue space but he could hear them.
" You stole my body, give it back to me." Augh... Auhhh.. screaming both of them passed through the barrier and attacked John.
" Wake up, wake up my sweetheart" shouted Selena
John woke up as he took abrupt intake of breathing, heavy breathing still continued and his body was mess with tones of sweating.
Selena embraced John and said " it's okay mamma is here, everything is fine."
" Yeah , I am fine mamma. It's just nightmare it will go away as you have said right?" said John.
" Yes, it will go away don't worry about it. The breakfast is ready, it's your favourite one." said Selena
John hearing this got exited and stood up from the bed but before he could go in kitchen, Selena stopped him and a cold sweat dropped down from the head of John . He looked at her mother's smiling face and said,
" I think it will be nice if I took the bath first right."
" Yes , you are smart and good child, come here I want to give you a kiss". said Selena
After getting some love from his mother John went to bathroom.
Selena looked at Cedar who was eating breakfast . She set accross him and said " you have to support your child as his father, he is boy so he might feel more comfortable with you."
Cedar seeing the serious face on Selena stopped to eat and said " did it happen again ?"
"Yes it happened again and it took longer this time. He doesn't tell me everything and he avoids or gets shy whenever I try to show my motherly love to him. Do you think he getting mature and will find a girl very soon, it's allready making me nervous." said Selena in agitated voice
" Don't you think , it might be because of your overwhelming love." said Cedar and before she could say something he spoke first " i think , I have an idea. It's time for me to teach him some physical combat." He quickly kissed on her head and left..
" He definitely said something wrong about me but after he kissed me , I can't remember it."said Selena sitting alone.
Both Father and son were standing on the space in front of the house. Cedar pated John and said you know , you can always count on your this old man."
" Do you also want have a powerful and strong body like mine." said Cedar
John nodded in a yes.
"Good we will start your physical combat training." said Cedar.
John hearing this got excited and said " Will you teach all your cool moves like " meteor punch", Dragon rush or how to launch dragon breath ?". said John
"No , I know from your mother that you are fast learner and have already learnt good amount of spells but this is different from that, you have to start from basics."said Cedar with smug looking face.
" Will you teach me some combat techniques ? ." asked John with less enthusiasm then before
" No my son, the basics are to run for eleven kilometres, one hundred push ups and one hundred squats. This training will make you strong and powerful like me." said Cedar.
It took John almost more than three hours to complete the training. After getting his whole body drenched in sweat he lied down on ground.
" Let's go son you mom is calling us for lunch , we better be hurry as you might allready know she would not call for third time instead.."
John said in tierd voice " I don't want see that happening."
Both Father and son sat down for lunch. Cedar looked at his son and said " You better eat more, we are going for a second round."
John almost puked out after hearing that. ' Is he really thinking after training like that I will be left alive.'
John was running around the ground around the house in circles. He stopped for a moment and tried to catch his breath.
Cedar from behind said, " If you will stop for more than thirty Seconds, I will increase the distance by one kilometre for every mistake."
Hearing this John continued until the training got completed.
John after eating dinner directly went to bed, today he slept without even bothering for thinking about anything or making future plans.
Next morning , both Cedar and Selena were sitting beside John. " It worked really well, he hasn't got any nightmares and this first time that he sleeping way more than usual just as a child should do." said Selena
" You know even if his innate abilities has not awaken yet still he has very strong body and stamina.I will need to increase his training in few days if he can handle it very well." said Cedar
" Okay I believe you, but not let something happen that may go overboard." said Selena.
" Yes, I understand." said Cedar
The physical training by continued for months as Cedar always integreted something new in training manual.
Martin sometimes came from time to time to talk with everyone. Today he visited again, John watching him also went towards him and said , good evening grandpa Martin."
"Good morning little boy , so what do you want to hear today? , do you still want hear about the dragon." said Martin.
" Yes , I want hear about the frost dragon." said John
" Okay, but let me sit down on the bench first. I am no young and energetic like you anymore so please don't mind me " said Old Martin.
Mark sat down and said " Today I will tell you the story of how frost dragon saved this city and the people of this city."
" Long time ago , this city was a barren land with only huts and small buildings here and there that were used by wealthy merchants and unorthodox organisation called Galamsey.
They brought many humans, beast men and mixed race either through forse or buying cheaply from slave markets. They had only one goal to get as much as dark gold from the mines around the mountain Ojos del salado, it was the biggest volcano that can be found around here."
Seeing the confused face on John, old Martin said ," Yes , I know you are confused about that part, but we will reach the answer eventually, so where was I ?"
" You were talking about volcano and gold mine ". said John.
" Not any other gold mine, but a mine filled with tones of dark gold. People from the all around the regions either wealthy - unwealthy, powerful or weak all were coming here to get try their sheer of luck."
" Powerful adventurers and hunters were got hired by merchants through Galamsey organisation for guiding through dangerous terrains and to defend against the all fire monsters lived in that region. They made all slaves to dig the mines without giving any kind of remuneration."
" One day a huge pure white dragon , with a wingspans that big that it could cover the whole citadel city under it. People say that he was attracted by the smell of dark gold or some people believe that something more valuable than dark gold was present there."
"The frost dragon wiped out all the humans that were present on Ojos del salado mountain as he desended, they believe that the slaves and workers were only spared by the mighty dragon, anyone else were anhilleted."
"The most famous legend is that frost dragon transformed the all volcanos and monsters into snow mountains and snow monsters."
" Is not that exaggerated by the people." said John with face that almost said do you really think that I might believe it
Old Martin was little dumbfounded after seeing that the young child like him will get suspicious about the story. He adjusted his voice by making sound like " ahem " from his throat and said " Who said that the dragon stories are real , it was you who always wanted hear it."
John looked at Old Martin to argue but the words only stayed in his mind and didn't come out.
Watching her child enjoying the stories with someone that she knew as young boy almost made her realise the importance of time. After starting them for a second she was about to go back in the house, only to get called by her son John , " mom , grandpa Martin said that he can bring me with him to see the Ojos del Salado mountain from the northern side of the city, I want to see it to. Can I go with him please ?."
' why am I acting like an actual kid , and making pitiful faces . Am I being affected because of this body of young kid.?' thought John as he was still standing against Selena.
Selena watching the face of her son to be exited this much for the first time, instantly melted and quickly embraced the John . Giving him a good amount of motherly love and said okay you can go with Grandpa Martin but you must always stick with him." said Selena
" Don't worry I will keep watch on him all the time." said Old Martin.
" I am sorry for making you teobled with him" said Selena with anxious face.
" It's not a trouble, as you know I am grandfather and there is very rare moments where I visit them or they visit me here, so your child calling me grandpa doesn't bother me at all. I am allready retired so there is nothing important for me to do".
After both John and old Martin left the house a young girl and two ladies arrived in the front of the house and knocked on the door. Cedar seating on sofa stood up and opened the door.
At the door some familiar faces were standing, a delightful smile appeared on the face of Cedar and said " please just don't stand there and come in."
" With pleasure" said Jasmin as she entered the house first.
Cedar also entered house after leading all the three of them to living room. Old Martha understood her assignment and went to kitchen to make tea and to bring some snacks.
Cedar looked at the second floor and said " honey , young freinds has come to meet you ".
Selena thought who it might be? But didn't thought more and came down in the living room.
" Suprised right ? , even we didn't know that we will get the chance to come here." said Aella.
Selena quickly sat down and all three of them talked non stop as they caught up with each other about the time they had not met each other.
" Some treasure hunters had came in Ironhold city , and visited the adventurere branch to get information about the Citadel city, and posted a job of a guide and a adventurer to get them safely here in hear." said Ruth.
" Yes, so when we found about the job , even it had very small wages still we choose it so we could meet you and can get some money out of it. you should be great full to us." said both Misty and Jasmine.
" That so cute for both of you to come here to meet me ". said in little proud voice.
Hearing that both of them had a little smug faces.
" So where did the treasure hunters said they were going.?" asked Cedar. as it captured his interest. It might be universal for all the boys and men to get interested in treasure hunting.They all ignored the sparkling eyes of Cedar.
Ruth replied after seeing excited Cedar " I think they were going towards the north , in the direction of the snow mountains."
