Why the HPSC is having the exam on a Sunday, I have no idea, but I can see why they chose the Takoba National Stadium for this event; there are way too many people here.
Thankfully, Aizawa held us back from rushing in, so we weren't fighting the crowd for a spot inside. The downside was trying to keep Bakugo from charging every other kid who gave him a funny look.
I did have something distracting me, other than Sasha, that is.

[Tinker - Fallout]
|Epic Ability|
Allows you to build technological constructs or contraptions from the Fallout Universe, such as Fusion Batteries, Chems, Power Armor, Stealth Boys, etc. Does not include Big MT. Technology
YES! I can make Power Armor now! I can't wait to use this with Nezu and Mei. Plus, once I get my yacht, I can mod the hell out of it. YES!
A/N- I almost screamed when I rolled this, thank you Outer_Warlock, you've made my day.
I didn't bother hiding my grin as I held Sasha's hand, as someone I recognized from the show made her appearance. I nudged Sasha and nodded to where Ms. Joke was currently pestering/harassing Aizawa.
Her eyes went wide with delight, seeing Aizawa squirm, as a few others noticed her as well. "PLUS ULTRA!" Most were distracted by that, though. I looked over to see a pretty muscular guy cheering the U.A motto with Kirishima looking awkward next to him.
I almost helped, almost. I rather enjoyed seeing Inasa's insane personality, though I did go up to Shoto and kick him. "What?" I nodded towards Inasa, "Remember him?" "No." "He remembers you the same way you remember Endeavor. Fix it."
Shoto looked very shocked at that, but went and did as I asked. I wanted to stick around and see what happened, but it was finally time for us to go inside. I took my seat and wondered what Aizawa and Joke were up to as the exam's proctor rattled off the rules in a monotone voice.
Once he was finished, several other assistants handed out the massive packets, and we got to work. Just glancing at the thing made it clear why they gave us four hours to finish this exam. I'm not looking forward to this.
It was horrible.
For some reason, most of the hero law questions seemed pointed against me. How they did that, I have no idea. Plenty of moral questions also seemed to single me out, a couple were about vigilantism, and others about murder.
I got through it, though. Did I have to use Six Eyes on Izuku's paper for the law questions sometimes? Yes, I have no shame. I'm not playing these games at all with the HPSC. I hate exams and tests.
Once we got past that horrid thing, though, we were given a ten-minute break to use the bathroom and change into our hero costumes. Before I could, though, I was taken to another room where I recognized the person before me, the President of the HPSC.
"Greeting, Micah Hall, take a seat." She said without looking up from her tablet. I was half tempted to stay standing out of spite, but listened regardless.
She didn't say another word for another ten minutes before finally looking up. "You, young man, have given the HPSC a lot of trouble these past few weeks. I don't know what gave you the confidence to do such a thing, but there are consequences."
She opened her mouth to continue, but I cut her off. "I don't care."
"Excuse me?" Her eyebrows furrowed, but I was on a roll.
"I have no interest in playing these games with the HPSC, or anyone else that comes looking for me. The most you people will get from me is help dealing with threats like AFO and Tomura, nothing more, nothing less.
I have no interest in working with or for you people, not even the United States. I understand that at times the HPSC is a necessary evil that keeps Japan safe, but you also have Lady Nagant and the sins your little club still tries to pretend don't exist.
So, I'll cut you a deal, just like I did with Nezu.
Leave me alone.
I want nothing to do with this country or its people. All I want is to sit around all day and relax with the people I care about without worrying about some government fool or politician getting their feelings hurt and lashing out.
I don't care what the media says because they have no real power, I don't care about the government because I literally have nothing to lose, and I don't care about anything you and the HPSC threaten me with because at any moment, I can sink Japan under a tsunami that will be talked about for the next century."
"What?" She said, and I grinned, "Oh, Nezu didn't tell you? Well, turns out I have more hidden away that I didn't need to use to kill All For One, including total control over water. That's why I was able to sense the fleet floating a few kilometers away from me that day at Takoba Beach."
She said nothing, but I could tell she knew what I was talking about.
"What makes you think I'll negotiate with you? We have plenty of other heroes, many of whom would be honored to take your place."
I scoffed, " Don't bother with the honor stuff, I do not need it yet. As for other heroes, you have Hawks and probably a few black ops teams. I'm sure you're also trying to get Nagant out if you haven't already.
The point is, I don't want to negotiate. I want to be left alone, do that, and I'll do the same. Keep playing your little games with the villains and the politicians, I don't care. The only reason I'd ever think of retaliating is if you tried going after my friends, like I said, flooding the entire nation under a tsunami."
"Hmph, you have no proof. Nothing but hollow words from a scared child who has too much power." She sneered to try to throw me off, so I gestured to her tablet. "I'm sure you have satellite access, pull up Tokyo Bay."
She looked skeptical, but did so as a projector lowered and Tokyo Bay appeared on the wall. I watched the various cargo ships and cruise liners move about before using my Divinity at full power.
---------------
President Pantu was very annoyed.
From the way Nezu had spoken, this boy was supposed to be ready and willing to help Japan fight off the villains as a hero. Something that would tie him to their country for decades, as they did with All Might, but he seemed almost hateful from how he spoke to her.
She could understand his anger about Lady Nagant; no one liked how the previous HPSC president ran things, but he shouldn't have known about that in the first place. Not to mention him calling out Hawks as one of their agents.
But for him to threaten to sink the entire country, that was a line she wouldn't cross. No matter how useful he could be for the HPSC and Japan as a whole, it wasn't worth negotiating with a child who didn't understand the world around them.
Still, she humored the kid and pulled up live footage from Tokyo Bay to test him. That was a mistake.
Though her quirk kept her face as smooth as stone, she was horrified inside. She watched as the churning waters of Tokyo Bay suddenly receded, as if a tsunami were about to hit.
The water didn't rush back with ungodly fury; however, it just kept receding. Cruise ships and cargo barges were left stranded in the bay as the water left them behind. The water eventually disappeared from view, and she pulled back the view and got the full, horrible picture.
Most, if not all, of the water in Tokyo Bay was now amassed into a giant ball of water. It didn't move at all, but the pressure from seeing so much water in the air like that was something she wasn't prepared for.
'I can't do anything to stop it. If I kill him and the water crashes back down, thousands will die. Can I even kill him?' Her mind raced with hundreds of plans as her tablet and phone exploded with messages asking for directions.
She finally glanced over at this devil in human skin. She almost sighed in relief. He was mostly focused on keeping the water up. That meant he couldn't just sink the entire country. 'He could still kill millions, just in Tokyo alone.' A darker part of her admitted.
"You've proven your point. The HPSC can offer protection as long as you stand on the side of the people of Japan." She finally found her voice as the boy nodded stiffly and released the water.
She almost shot him when she saw the water crash back down. He surprised her again, however, as he demonstrated his control over the water by gently scooping up the various ships that had been left stranded.
When the waters of Tokyo Bay finally returned to their rightful place, she wondered if anything had even happened. But she knew the boy sitting across from her had the power to destroy her country, and he'd just proven how easy it could be.
