Terra nullius kingdom, considering the meaning of the name it's wierd because the meaning of the name is 'no one's land' still it's regarded as a kingdom. Some people think that it's considered as a kingdom because it consists of three cities but there are people who believe that there is something much bigger than it looks.
The names of Cedar and Selena were not new to anyone who was living in the Ironhold city, they were the famous adventure couple known with the nickname of Ace and queen.
There residence was located in inner area of the city, was almost same size of a small mension. Today was the naming ceremony and the house was allready half full with fellow adventures and friends , most of the gathered people knew each other making it more like a get together.
Snacks and drinks were served by additional two female servents hired for one day work. Cedar, Jasmine and Aella were entertaining the guests. Gerald was more interested in drinking than trying to make conversations with others. Cedar usually wearing long and loose clothes didn't liked tailor made fitting clothes, still he had to wear it as Selena told him to do it.
The hall room was decorated with various flowers and old fashioned lamps for lightning. Jasmine wearing long light yellow coloured full dress made of silk with green ribbon on the waist, with skinny figure and long sleeve reaching fingers made her look like a k-pop girl.
Aella was wearing long green dress which showing milky skin from just above the knee. and matching green hat which complimented her emarald green eyes elegantly holding vine glass on one hand and covering her mouth when laughing with other hand which had four rings on each finger.
Gerald watching his wife interacting with everyone gave her a smile as they looked at each other, he knew the best how she always stayed alone making and researching new potions in her lab.
As the twilight was descending Selena came down with baby in her hand accompanied by both household maids. Selena wearing silver mulmul full dress breaded with dark gold thread covering from over shoulders to touching the toes and sliding with the ground on the back , a beautiful necklace was placed on her jade like neck.
The baby was covered with the clothes made of muslin which very comfortable and light waighted.
Cedar met Selena on the mid staircase holding her hand walked down her " you look very beautiful lady" in which response Selena showed her wedding ring and empaty finger. Cedar replied with smiling face " Will definitely give it you on our next anniversary."
Crowd stared at the pair looking in aw as they murmured " i thought Aella looked most beautifull but she is on whole another level."
Cedar took the stage with adjusting his voice " without further ado I will take this chance to say that we were married from a long time and at a certain time we lost the hope having a child but still we were blessed by a healthy child. I am very thankful for this gift given to us."
Cedar took the glass jar from the butler which containing small slips holding it as the opening faces the baby. ' oh so this is the moment that will decide my name, they should have writtened some good names or i will be done for.' he placed his hand in jar and took out a small slip , before he can unfold the slip Cedar took the slip from his hand gave it to Selena and both said the name at same time" John".
"What ? the names i writtened did not make it Gizmo, Zex or Buzz".
" Stop it Gerald that's why I didn't let you name our son Theo by you, I knew you would come up with some of your creativity that's why I didn't placed your slips in the jar."
In which Gerald became speechless didn't said a word .
' isn't the John name is most common name from the world I came from , atleast I was saved from the names that guy came with.'
Gerald drinking as he thought some one was thinking bad about him, still continued.
Tharg " that's very beautiful and fitting name who wrote it."
Selena flipped the slip to see the written name on the back of the other side , 'hmm I almost forgot it came from Twilight household from my parents side.'
Cedar came close to Selena and spoke " You don't need to have to say it, we both know about this and we both have complications background that's why we choose to live here, to be happy so it's okay".
" Thanks for the reminder honey, I will always stay with you." And they embraced each other and kissed in middle of crowd, and not a single person thought it was out of line , because that is how this couple liver till this day and will be in future.
'John hmm.. it's a common name but a good name , many great people had known by this name also many movies and comics characters had this name , so it's not bad '
Mark collected all gifts from the guests and thanked everyone individually.
John got handed over by one person to another as the desire of wanting to play with baby can be seen in every one.
Few days passed away,
A large three storey building made of black wood was standing at the middle area of the city, so it could be assessed from outer and inner area. Selena and Cedar were summoned by the Guild master.
Entering the building both were greeted by Misty a palm sized and cute looking girl with pink hair. " you both finally remembered to come here , you didn't showed up for whole year" with teary eyes.
Misty flied towards Selena and landed on her palms "I .. I couldn't even come to your house for celebration as the Guild master was gone to main adventure guild office in Exandria. "
" I know that you are sad and , I am very sorry for not coming to meet you but there is something we have brought with us tomake up to you."
Selena took out the transperant bag of coockies and chocolate cake from her space ring, seeing the bag full of sweets Misty used telekinesis to take it from her hand . She floated with the bag and landed on top of the desk.
There was no trace of sadness, only happiness of a child getting a favourite toy can be seen in her eyes.
Misty jumping happily than she looked as how the couple was looking at her and said " Okay, I will not be mad at you anymore. You both should go to third floor to meet the boss he wants to talk to you about something."
Cedar pated the little fairy with big hand said " off we go." And got yelled " hey big guy you are ruining my hair." With irritated voice.
After some chit chat with fairy they both went on the third floor , the atmosphere was tense both guild master of Adventure and hunters association were present. Arthur the adventure guild master looked at them and said" you are on time , as you can see we both are present here that means the situation has been allready escalated.
" I am sorry for not attending the celebration, I will make it up to you with something in future."
Cedar replied " we know you were busy with your work and you allready have sent the gift with Hunter guild master Tharg so it's not something to be asshamed about."
" Thanks for the understanding. We know that you have given more than enough to this city through hard work and you deserve the Happy Life with your family, but somthing big happening and we need your help."
Tharg said with serious voice" you both are not active since one year so I will tell you the situation we are against, the Timberland is acting up again just like 30 years ago. Scouting team are not returning and returned scouts are almost half dead or to scared to speak properly. I think there are sentinel monsters coming from the inner area to outer region."
Arthur continued " We don't know why they are coming here? It could be lack of food, territory expansion or someone intentionally targeting the city."
Cedar spoke" so you are saying that it can be someone from Empire?."
Selena said" we can't get to the conclusion without evidence, so what both of you want us to do?."
Arthur said " we want you to scout the new monster that they are creating, so we can strike it down before the impending doom reaches us. Don't worry we will give you additional support of team and various High grade life saving items."
Both thought for a moment and replied that they will give their answer tomorrow morning and left the association and returned to home.
After feeding the baby at late night Selena came down in hall room, Cedar was sitting in sofa trying to figure out best solution for safety of both his family and the city.
" I know how much you care for your family and you have soft heart for this city , we both have so much memories of us here, so many friends and relations this place holds is immeasurable.we can let it go all behind and start somewhere else with a new life, we don't have to become saviours all the time." She touched Cedar and unbotouned the shirt only to see the long scars of battles that he fought.
" Yes, I know what I should do as a good husband but I don't want to watch this city being destroyed." Selena looked at her husband's gave a chuckle and said,
"Than It will be our last job as a adventures and after that we will live this place behind , do you think that's possible.?
" Yes that is the best deal we can make out of it, we should take rest some rest tomorrow will be a long day."
Next mourning
Selena and Cedar kissed on the forehead of sleeping John left quietly without making noise. Selena instructed old maid Martha and young girl Rose to take care of the child . Cedar also told not to go out of the house for any kind of work.
They both reached at adventure association early in morning, the both guild masters were present including five more people.
