Chapter 37 - Ultimate moves-1

The next day, Aizawa called us down to the classroom for something. Once we were finally in our seats, he explained.

"Since the summer training camp was cut short by the attack, we're going to have an extra day to help you figure out your ultimate moves. This is also getting you ready for the next big thing, the Provisional Hero License exam. To help you out, Cementoss, Ectoplasm, and Midnight are going to go around helping when needed."

These were getting more and more frequent! I'm not complaining, but it's snowballing at this point. Spin it!

[Spinning, spinning, spinning, done!]

[Bronze Creation]

|Rare Ability|

Allows you to create and shape Bronze, the superior metal and alloy, forming weapons, armor, or even constructs out of it. You can also reinforce this bronze with your own energy.

Interesting, this would be very useful in pre-industrial era worlds. I don't think I'll be visiting many of them, but it could work.

I pushed that aside as we arrived where the other teachers were waiting. They called it Gym Gamma, but it was really a mid-sized hangar. It was also made mostly of concrete, something Cementoss took advantage of as he adjusted the Gym to better suit us.

As we break off to practice/ make ultimate moves, Ectoplasm creates a bunch of clones that follow everyone to help if need be. The clone I was given gives me a look, "To be honest, you don't need our help on this one. As unfortunate as it is, your fight with All For One included several techniques that could be Ultimate moves."

I nodded as I opened my wings and took to the air. Seeing where Cementoss had created a huge pillar, I flew up to the top and sat down to think. Ectoplasm was right, just from that fight alone, I had several ultimate moves, plus the ones from I-Island and the training camp.

I wasn't in any rush, however. Though Aizawa had said one day, I remembered how this training lasted for several days, as quite a few students created ultimate moves. Remembering what we are training for, I flew back to Aizawa with a question.

"Has Principal Nezu told you what I'll be doing for the exam?" I asked, and he shook his head. "No. The only thing I know is he's cut a deal with the HPSC, and they have to reach a deal with you. I don't know when or where they'll do it, but that's all I know."

I returned to the massive pillar a little crestfallen. It was annoying not to know how things would shake out, but I have myself to blame for that. I'd taken the canon lore that probably wasn't going to change, and shaken it in a bag like a prize goldfish.

It was surprising that the HPSC hadn't sent someone after me, but I'm sure that if I didn't 'play nice,' they would.

Government shenanigans aside, I focused on naming my ultimate moves for now.

The first one was pretty simple. I summon a huge amount of flames before shaping them into a suit of armor around me. The armor was big and bulky, though not as big as the Terminator Armor, which was something else.

This armor, while still being bigger than me, wasn't that level of bulky. It was more in line with Mark IV Maximus Armor. I'd tried to do heresy-pattern armor, but I still lacked the fine control over my flames to make each of the studs in the armor.

I would be working on that first and foremost, since I wanted to be clad in Tacticus-Pattern power armor before this was all over with. I also needed to figure out how to shape my flames into something like a bolter, or at least a chainsword, to tie the look together.

It didn't stop there, though. I also needed to figure out how to better use my Divinity over water and ice. As my most powerful ability, I had to make sure I could make the best use of it, no matter where I might be.

So I went straight to work, starting with the armor as I formed it over my body, and I began condensing the armor to make it heavier. I then started running around the gym doing parkour to train my agility as well. This was going to be fun.

--------------

"Oh my, look at how he moves~ Such vitality!" Midnight squeezed herself as Aizawa and Cementoss took a few steps away from her.

"I can't believe I'm saying this, but she is correct. What your student is doing is a step above the other Aizawa." Cementoss rumbled as the teachers watched Micah run circles around the rest of the class.

Ida, of course, was ahead of him, but Micah proved to be more agile, being able to change directions and pivot much better than his classmate.

"I have nothing to do with it. This is all the culmination of his own work." Aizawa admitted as he glanced around at the rest of his students.

He didn't particularly want them running around murdering villains in front of the world, but they could be a bit more creative with how they went about making their ultimate moves. His eyes then found Micah's blazing armored form once more, as he arched his brow.

'What is this problem child doing now?' He wondered, seeing him hold out his arm as if grabbing something, when flames surged in his palm. Seeing the building flames, ectoplasm directed his clones to move their charges discreetly, just in case.

As expected, a burst of flames briefly covered Micah and the area around him before receding. Aizawa felt a small itch in the back of his mind when he laid eyes on Micah's new weapon.

It was massive, nearly the size of one of the smaller students, probably bigger than them, actually.

(A/N- Fun fact- A standard Astartes chainsword is about 1.2-1.5 meters long, or 4-5 feet. This means that Mineta, Tsuyu, and Toru are shorter than a standard chainsword. If we're talking about an Eviscerator Chainsword, however, it's even better.

Since an Eviscerator Chainsword is 1.8-2.1 meters, or 6-7 feet. Only Rikido, Koji, and Mezo are maybe bigger than it. Fun. Micah has a standard chainsword rn though don't worry. For now)

Not many people, other than maybe three, know that Aizawa was once a nerd. Back when he still had a decent sleep schedule, kinda, and when he could smile normally. After an accident with someone close to him, however, nerd Aizawa died and gave us what we have today.

Seeing the massive blade in Micah's hand woke up a fleeting spark of the nerd within Aizawa, as he finally realized why Micah's armor had looked so damn familiar. 'It's space marine armor. Oh god, one of my students made a chainsword!'
