You are back in class with your friend. He plops down in his seat, so you do the same. As you scan the room for your lost weapon, your friend hands you his own. He closes his eyes and nods as if saying, "Don't sweat it." You gently settle your weapon into the tiny gap on your desk and lean back as you wait to see what happens next.
Then, you look outside the window. It is a sunny day, not cold at all. As you continue to look outside, you notice the world beyond is bleached completely white. However, your town is completely clear of it. It is snow, yes, but for some reason, the snow refuses to paint the town white. It's so beautiful it makes you smile. Yes, forget everything.
While you absent-mindedly observe the outside, someone with a deep voice shouts a name you've never heard before. It is a new creature, not the big creature you befriended half an hour ago. This means danger, but at least you know how to defend yourself.
??? : "ELUNED! SIT YOUR ASS DOWN AND PAY ATTENTION TO ME!"
Gasp. When you hear that name, your eyes widen with sudden realization. Eluned. That's your name. Your name is not "You" or "city girl" or anything. Your name is Eluned. And the boy beside you has a name, too. His name is not "Your Friend" or "little creature"—he has a name, and it is Benson. You almost jump out of your skin as the teacher shouts your name.
Eluned: "Yes, Mr. Geek! I'm sorry! I'll sit my ass down right now!"
Mr. Geek: "Good. At least you know your place. Snort."

I feel like I'm gonna puke my insides out. There is a weird sensation in my stomach, as if I had just finished eating cement. I clutch my stomach tightly, lean my forehead against the desk, and rest. The new teacher, Mr. Geek doesn't seem to care whether I listen to his lesson or not, so why did he warn me? Why did he shout the name "Eluned"?
No, why did that name make me feel nauseous about myself? It is my name, yes, but a name alone shouldn't be able to do all of this. I feel terrible. If Benson doesn't move out of the way, I'm gonna throw up all over him. Benson looks at me. He could see how I'm feeling right now.
Benson: "Mr. Geek! Eluned doesn't seem to be feeling too well. May I help her go to the medbay?!"
Mr. Geek: "Alright. Make sure to come back to class right after, Benson. I don't want to see you creating excuses to escape class."
Benson nods. He supports me with his shoulder and helps me walk to the girls' bathroom. As we walk there, he tells me, "I told you not to eat that shit. Didn't I?" I... what is he talking about? I don't remember eating anything at all. In fact, what was I doing looking out the window in the middle of class? Nothing here makes sense, but I guess there is nothing I can do about it now. My stomach is killing me.
I shut the door and lift my shirt to see what's wrong with my stomach. There... I can see burn marks. No, these aren't burn marks at all. They are stitches. Does this mean my wound is reopened? What wound? I don't remember receiving a serious injury like this. I rush out of the bathroom.
Eluned: "BENSON! TAKE ME TO THE MED BEFORE I BLEED OUT!"
Benson jumps as I burst out the door, screaming in panic. He looks at me in such a strange way, as if he's saying "WHAT?!" without even talking. He carries me toward the medbay. I don't know how, but the way I said "take me to the med" must've sounded so funny that we're both laughing. It hurts, yes, but with each second I feel better. In fact, he wasn't laughing before I started laughing.
There, I can see the medbay! A few more seconds and we'll... be... there...? Wait, we just passed it. Where the hell is he leading me?!
Eluned: "We just passed the medbay! Where are we going?!"
Benson: "What do you mean medbay?! We're late for class! Move your ass, it's right around the corner!"
He drops me, and I fall to the ground with a thud. Ouch. Huh...? I run my hands over my stomach area. I... don't feel anything at all. Wasn't I badly hurt earlier? I get back on my feet quickly and run after Benson. I'm already so late to class; what the hell am I doing here?! Mr. Geek is gonna kill me. What a funny name! Ah ha ha ha!
