Chapter 5 - Mother's Care

Core was no longer the fragile blue planet of Kaelen's past.

It was the Mage Era, an advanced civilization where massive orbital defence fortresses covered by defensive mage garment revolve around the planet like the halos of god.

As Lyra explained, these garments were the physical manifestation of the garment created by the magic fiber of Master Garment Realm Mages to shield Core from unexpected interstellar attacks.

Mecha's patrolled the thermosphere, their ion trails glowing against the black, while garment seams covering earth has traffic looking like the shimmering silver rivers.

Inside the Veyron Family Tower, the family had descended from their private residence to the medical area.

The medical area occupied Levels 50 to 60, a sprawling complex of white labs filled with the scent of fresh grass piped in from the external garden terraces.

Kaelen sat on a diagnostic bed in his white bear pajamas, his deep black eyes watching a thick, red fiber pulsing rhythmically around his wrist.

His mother, Dr. Lyra, sealed the room on Level 55; the locks hissed as the dampening fields engaged, ensuring total privacy.

"It's time you understand the basics of mage realms, Kaelen," she said, her voice dropping the warmth of a mother for the precision of a mentor.

"In this era, power is not just about the control a man has over his fiber; it is about how you integrate that fiber into the machines."

Lyra extended her hand, a violet fiber drifting into the air like a strand of living snake.

"As you climb the levels, your control evolves from your own body to the fiber and its various forms out of your body."

"Look at my hand and understand".

Ten small fibers came out of Lyras hand. "As your cultivation increase you will be able to visualize more and understand more. At yarn realm you will combine these fibers into yarn.

Slowly the violet fibers enter Lyra body again. "I am visualising a machine in my body based on the fiber to yarn making process. I have learned from my early days you will learn this later in school depend on the process the quality of your yarn will be different but you can learn different process anytime you want."

As Lyra was telling this a yarn come out of her hand.

"Now again I will send this yarn into my body and visualize a loom to make a fabric."

This time a thin fabric come out of her hand.

"There is also garment phase which i have not yet reached which require to stitch these fabrics together."

"Touch this fabric" while passing the violet fabric in her hand to Kaelen.

As Kaelen touched the fabric he feel that the fabric was transitioning between real and unreal.

Lyra looking at his confusion said "This fabric require mana or metal assimilation to exist for longer time. Otherwise it will fade out after some time come out of my body."

"We can not create aything out of nothing. E = mc2. Either energy or material is required to sustain the fiber and its product out of body."

The semi transparent cover over the core is the manifestation of large garment created. by a Master Garment Realm Mage with lot of mana and metals assimilated in it for years.

Then Lyra took Kaelen's small hand, her expression turning serious as she looked into his calm eyes.

"But even for the Master Garment Realm Mages, there are enemies they can not defeat. We mages have mastered the 3D plane, but the 4th Dimension, Time, still remains a mystery hidden by thick fog."

"We call this realm Tesseract Realm. There is no known active Tesseract Realm mage is fvisible in the galaxy."

Kaelen looked at her mother and begin to though. He remembered the time when there were more then 3D in the problems he used to do using matrix.

Similarly time is a dimension they can not see but what if he create lots of matrix equations cards and store them in his brain to process the immediate environment around. This way he may not be able to see the 4th dimension but may be able to use it.

It was difficult for the human brain to visualize, but with the right transformation matrices, it was perfectly logical to manipulate.

"I understand, Mom" Kaelen said, his black eyes as steady as a deep ocean.

He has decided if possible he want to solve the real-life matrices of the universe, calculating the flow of time itself.

He wasn't just going to live in reality. He want to calculate the next dimension of it. That evening Kaelen saw his mother calling to someone and saying she need her to be here to create a perfect diet plan for Kaelen.

So, the next morning air outside the Veyron Tower was interrupted by the low, melodic hum of a high end levitating vehicle.

Sleek and obsidian-black, the car glided through the air, bearing the insignia of the Alchemy Association of Core.

Lyra had sent the call the previous night to Arin's sister, Suzen Veyron, one of the few high-level Alchemist capable of handling the task of creating chart of nutriments required for a child of Kaelen's potential.

The car touched down on the reinforced landing pad, where a security guard in heavy, military-grade magic armor stepped forward.

The magic armor was a classic armor formed by providing the wearer with material to assimilate in there fiber and then to slowly raise it's level from newbie to master, which give a finished abyss black colour to it. The person require to visualise the magic armor blueprint provided by the military to create this armor.

In his grip, he held a high output mana rifle, its power core visibly linked to the suit's central reactor by a series of glowing green fibers that pulsed like a digital heartbeat.

With a crisp salute, the guard took the digital key from Suzen as she stepped out, whisking the vehicle away to the lower parking bays.

At the entrance, Lyra and Kaelen were already waiting.

Kaelen was dressed in black comfort-wear that matched the startling depth of his eyes, looking every bit the innocent cute kid.

Although his mind held the memories of a world class mathematician, his current biological body, his five-year-old hormones and brain chemistry, often overrode his logic, making him feel a genuine, childlike warmth toward his family.

"Kaelen!" Suzen's voice rang out, full of mischievous energy.

She didn't walk, she ran, her Intermediate Fabric Realm power making her movements a blur before she scooped Kaelen up in a crushing hug.

Suzen was as brilliant as she was playful, and during Kaelen's first few months of life, she had been a constant, hovering presence, second only to Lyra. So Kaelen was already accustomed to her actions.

The group then ascended once more to the Level 55 Medical Center, where the heavy dampening fields hummed as they reactivated.

Suzen's playful demeanor shifted into the sharp focus of an expert the moment they entered the lab.

Kaelen was placed inside a special device designed specifically to map the fibers in the body of the patient inside machine.

"Alright, little mage, stay still," Suzen chirped, her eyes dancing over the data streams.

"I need to see how that red fibers of yours handles high-density nutrients."

As the machine whirred, a complete holographic scan of Kaelen's fibers appeared in the center of the room.

The fiber's were thick and crimson.

"The fibers are really thick for a child" Suzen whispered, tapping her chin as she watched the Diagram. "I think we need to prepare a special food chart for Kaelen with more nutrients then normal child".

Suzen pulled up a blank digital canvas and began to calculate the specific nutrients Kaelen would require to reach Master Fiber Realm.

"So, Kaelen," she asked with a wink, "since you're going to be drinking this for the next few years, do you want 'Strawberry Supernova' or 'Cool Blue Comet'?"

Kaelen looked at the scrolling list of nutrients and leaned into his childhood instincts.

"Strawberry," he said, his voice small and cute, though his eyes were busy reading the nutritional ratios on her screen.

Suzen laughed and finalized the Nutrient Chart.

1. Crimson-Flow Solution, a thick liquid to be taken three times daily to reinforce his meridian walls.

2. Azure Isolate, a cooling stabilizer to stabilize his fiber's more.

3. Mana Grains for breakfast, which provided the slow-release energy needed for his mana capacity increase.

4. Night-Cycle Nectar, before bed, a restorative tonic designed to repair the micro-tears caused by the tension of his unique fibers.

After the list was compiled and sent to the Veyron Tower's automated kitchen, Suzen didn't leave immediately.

She spent the afternoon playing with Kaelen, but her "games" were actually lessons in disguise.

She used holographic blocks to explain the human body's alchemy, showing him how a FMage can use their fibers to catalyze chemical reactions within their own body.

"Most people think alchemy is just mixing potions and knowing about the human body, Kaelen," she said, sitting cross-legged on the floor with him.

"But true alchemy is the complete knowledge of what happens before and after taking the potions to the body. Each body is different."

"It's like solving a puzzle where the pieces are changing shape while you hold them."

Kaelen listened to the knowledge and absorbed as much he can. This was something he has never hear about.

In the evening everyone has a family dinner on the residential level.

Arin, Lyra, Suzen and Kaelen sat together as the sun set, casting a shadow of defence fortress above the core.

They talked of the Alchemy Association and the rising prices of precious metals, while Kaelen focused on his newly prepared "Strawberry" nutrient soup, feeling the thick red fibers in his chest hummed cheerfully.

As dinner finished, Suzen kissed Kaelen's cheek and headed back to her hovering car.

"Keep an eye on the nutrients chart, Lyra" she advised her sister in law.

"If he follows my chart, his foundation will be very solid."

Then after a final wave, she entered her car and the car lifted into the night sky, heading back toward the Alchemy Association.
