Two months have past and it is now mid autumn. The Sun gently rises of the hills and cool breeze of air hits Nevooa. He is in the streets walking around trying to find Komodo. Now Nevooa has become a low soldier.
Komodo is eating in a shop in the southeast district and Nevooa spots him.
"Yo Komodo." Nevooa says, "How do i get missions."
"Missions? Oh I guess I forgot to tell you." Komodo replied as he turned his head to look at him.
Komodo got out of his seat and started walking to the center building in the city.
"I'll get us a mission right now. And I'll show you how." Komodo said.
Nevooa followed Komodo to the center building and they went inside.
Komodo went to the person on the front desk and asked, "Is there any missions I can take on."
"What's your rank and your name?" the lady said in a plain and tired voice.
"I am Komodo and this is Nevooa. I am mid soldier and he is low soldier rank." Komodo replied.
"Alright then there is a of missions I'm going to tell you." she said, "It is to find a clansmen called Invierno. It's said he is lost or abandoned his mission in the Greosos Mountains."
"We would like to take on that mission." Komodo responded.
"Alright then." she replied while writing their status and the mission down.
Nevooa and Komodo walked out of the city and started heading west towards the mountains.
"So have you found a purpose yet?" Komodo asked.
"No, not yet." Nevooa replied.
"Shouldn't it be to defeat Novak?" Komodo replied.
Nevooa thought for a moment before saying, "I guess that's a goal the clan set for me but, it's not personal to me. Novak never did anything to me to make me want to defeat him."
"I guess that's true." Komodo said silently.
They have been walking for a few hours and it was slowly starting to reach night. They would reach the Greosos Mountains in a few days.
Pitter-patter, pitter-patter, pitter-patter
A group of wolves have spotted Nevooa and Komodo walking. These aren't normal wolves either, they were snake wolves. Both Nevooa and Komodo knew this. Komodo knew due to his rich experience in doing missions. While Nevooa knew due to him studying at a library in the clan.
The went bitten by a snake wolf the victim would get poisoned and die within hours. However, that would happen if it were against a normal person.
Snake wolves were known to attack humans to eat but they never put in any real effort to kill. They would just bite down lightly against their target once and chase them.
But to awakeners who had stronger bodies they could tank several bites before the snake wolves actually start to try.
"Nevooa are you ready?" Komodo said.
"Yeah, they should be no problem right?" Nevooa responded.
"If you've been training they should be." Komodo said with a smile.
They snake wolves rushed at them first.
Komodo and Nevooa took out their weapons and prepared to fight.
Whoosh Nevooa's sword caught fire.
There were seven wolves and four of them went to Nevooa while three went to Komodo. The first wolf in front attacked Nevooa by launching itself into the air. But Nevooa side stepped towards the side.
WHOOSH
Nevooa swung and hit a clean hit to the wolf's neck getting it clean off. A giant burst of flames also appeared when Nevooa swung showing how much he has grown in the last two months.
The other three wolves had surrounded him. Nevooa looked around and then but he also saw Komodo doing just fine against the wolves that attacked him.
Then the wolf behind Nevooa rushed at him. Nevooa turned around ready to slash it but the other wolves followed. Now Nevooa was getting attacked in all directions.
Boom
Nevooa jumped into the air and landed right on top of one of the wolves with his sword into its head. Two down, two more to go.
The other two wolves had stopped and stared at Nevooa. Nevooa stared back with a cold expression to scare the wolves.
One of them took a step back but Nevooa quickly rushed them. Nevooa wasn't going to back down here as when snake wolves retreated they would join another pack and then hunt down whoever killed their last one.
Light had appeared on Nevooa's boots but it wasn't any random light, it was his life force!
BOOM!
In a sudden burst one of the wolves had been cut into two horizontally.
"Cricket boots! Aren't they amazing." Nevooa said with a smile. "They allow me to boost off of any object and at an extreme force but in return they take up some of my energy. But no pledge was needed so I take it as a win win."
The other wolf looked at him in fear and was going to run in the opposite direction-

Komodo had cut the wolf's head into two.
"Looks like it's over. We can finally rest now." Komodo said.
