After they had met Himmlisches Light the storm disappeared but it was still cloudy. A cold wind blew into their faces but their expressions were unfazed.
They walked and walked for days until they had seen Greosos Mountains. Although it was still miles away they were glad that they were getting close to it and finding Invierno.
They grass swayed in the wind showing that the wind had become a bit stronger. Although the weather was a bit gloomy Nevooa couldn't help but be excited.
He was excited because he hoped that this mission would be easy. He hadn't heard much of Invierno but he knew he wouldn't be too strong. He was only soldier rank and Komodo to Nevooa was very powerful. He'd seen Komodo's battle intelligence and how he went about fights.
boom, boom, boom
A strange creature appeared in front of them. It was similar to a gorilla, it walked with its hands but the thing that made it different were it's size. It was around 7'9 and had blonde hair that reached down to its back. It also had what was seen as a mask. It was white and covered its face but it was made keratin so it was already built into its body.
"Nevooa, I want to see more of how you've grown. Fight the grimster alone." Komodo asked.
The creature in front of them was indeed the grimster but they had thought it was a different creature. grimsters were known to be in packs around seven but this one was alone.
"Alright, it should be too difficult." Nevooa replied.
Basic grimsters we around the strength of three normal humans but to an experienced awakener it could be a problem.
But before Nevooa was going to fight it he asked, "Komodo, what happens when non-awakeners find a monster."
"If they live it'll become a legend or a myth. But they usually die to them so they're never known. And it's our job to exterminate as much monsters as possible because if there were a monster intelligent enough they could tell them about the secret society." Komodo replied.
BOOM
Nevooa used his cricket boots and boosted off the ground. He aimed to slash the grimster's neck but it blocked with its arm. A small cut had formed from it.
Nevooa rushed at it again. The grimster threw a downwards punch and missed due to Nevooa's speed.
whoosh
Nevooa jumped into the air and his sword caught on fire. He then swung his sword down leaving a devastating slash on the grimster.
BOOM
Nevooa jumped back into the air.
Shukk!
Nevooa sword pierced straight through the grimster's head killing it.
"You've grown a lot Nevooa." Komodo said smiling. The smile was a smile of accomplishment. It showed that he know Nevooa would complete his wish one day.
"But isn't it weird that this grimster is alone." Nevooa asked.
"It is. It's also migration season so there is usually bigger groups of them." Komodo added on.
"Grimsters wouldn't just leave their groups willingly. Something probably pushed out here." Nevooa said.
"Maybe." Komodo said looking down.
"Wait, what do you know about Invierno." Nevooa asked.
"I've never met him but it is said that he has four arms and earthly brown skin." Komodo replied.
"Maybe he's the one who pushed this grimster out here." Nevooa said.
They thought for a moment before Nevooa broke the silence, "Since it's migrating season for grimsters Invierno might be fighting some of them."
They started walking and went up a hill and saw many grimsters. There were thousands of them.
"You know that in monsters and some animals there are kings right?" Komodo asked.
"Yeah I do." Nevooa replied.
"Do you think that Invierno is fighting one?" Komodo asked again.
"Maybe it's in his nature to fight the strongest." Nevooa said.
"But not strong at all. He's only soldier rank." Komodo said as they started walking again.
Grimsters were mainly aggressive creatures due to them being omnivores. But what made them special were their masks. It let them see peoples life force. Many of them looked at Nevooa and Komodo but they never attacked. This was due to Komodo. A group of them would easily overwhelm Nevooa but Komodo's presence is what kept them from attacking. The grimsters had seen Komodo and knew that Komodo alone in one swing could kill hundreds of them.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
Three large explosions were seen in the distance. And tens of grimsters were sent into the air.
"This must be Invierno." Komodo said.
"Yeah, it seems like he's fighting the grimster king." Nevooa add on.
WHOOSH!
The grimster king had been blown right past them. And in the smoke they saw a figure with four arms.
"Huh?! Who the hell are you guys." the figure said as the smoke started to disappear and its face shown.
It had brown skin and short spiky hair. It had sharp thick bone structure. Its eyes were a golden color.
"You must be Invierno." Komodo said.
"Hmph, and you are." Invierno asked.
