Kai's lip twitched in spite of himself as he approached it, following the pull to its bizarre finish line.
"So you decided to throw it in with the spoons, I see..." He admonished in a distinctly teasing tone.
He chuckled to himself when he opened the drawer, immediately spying the small, cyan-coloured totem nestled inside among the paper napkins.
Kai shook his head in amusement, but as he reached for it, he paused.
What if it would be like Rami's?
It didn't appear to be a wearable amulet like his first, so it was most likely going to implant itself, and after what Kai had just had to work through, he wasn't exactly in the mood to experience physical torment.
