[3rd POV]
The show had continued on for a while longer, as Ellen asked her quite a lot of questions, and had even played a game with her, like she was on a game show or something. But, Ellen had severely underestimated Billie, so she had crushed her at the game in question.
Billie didn't really know anything about said game though, so she didn't care much. It was kind of fun though. The questions themselves weren't really all that bad, but there was one that made her talk a bit longer than the others.

[Flashback]
"So, Billie, I've asked about your love life. I've asked about your past with music. I've even asked about what your favorite artists are. But there is one person that I have not asked about, and that is your grandmother" Ellen said, as Billie quietly listened to her, letting her continue.
"Did she raise you?" Ellen asked, as Billie smiled.
"She did. My grandmama had raised me since young, after my parents had unfortunately passed. So she had taught me a lot of things, and supported me in a. Lot more. It was only thanks to her that I got to this point today, sitting across from you" Billie replied, making Ellen smile softly.
"What was she like?"
"She was a bada-she was awesome. Kind, strong, smart. She didn't take crap from anybody, no matter who they were, or what they did. And she had funded the initial development of my music, and is the reason why I could create so much music when I was younger" Billie explained, before she slowly continued.
"She was also an amazing chef. Still the best I have ever met, and probably the best I will ever meet. Her speciality was mostly Italian and French. But, she could make a dang good bowl of ramen" Billie said, as Ellen smiled.
It was clear to anyone with eyes or ears that Billie loved her grandmother a lot, and seemed to have a lot of fond memories of her. Which was only natural of course, as this was the woman that had raised her.
"Why ramen? I mean, don't get me wrong, ramen is amazing, one of the best Asian dishes in my opinion, but why'd she get so good at ramen?" Ellen asked.
"Because back when my grandfather was alive and they were young, their first date had been to an Asian restaurant, one that specialized in ramen. So after that point it had sort of become a tradition to have ramen together on their anniversary. And eventually, once my grandfather started to get old and...sick, she had asked for the recipe and managed to start making it herself" Billie explained to the woman who was so curious about her past.
Billie heard several "Aw's" at her words, finding it to be sweet. And it was.
"That is absolutely adorable" Ellen said as Billie chuckled.
"From what my grandmother had told me, my grandpa thought the same" Billie replied, agreeing that it was adorable.
It felt nice, talking about her grandmother. Telling others about how incredible the woman was, and how she had shaped her life and the way she had developed over the years.
She hoped she could talk more about her in the future

Talking about her grandmother was interesting. Nobody besides the Dunphy's and the other members of the family, had ever asked her about the woman. It had always been sort of a secret regarding her past and what her grandmother had done.
She had been a nurse, actually. While her grandpa had been a veteran and had served during the Vietnam War.
Billie didn't actually know very much about her parents. She knew one set of her grandparents, but she didn't know her grandparents on her fathers side. Hell, she didn't even really know anything about her father or mother.
Her grandmother had never told her about them, and who they were and what they did. But, Billie had never really asked, as she had assumed they were similar to her past lives parents.
Perhaps she'd need to look into that in the future. As it might be nice to at least know a bit more about her past, and maybe even potentially meet her other side of the family, if they were still around at least.
After the questions about her grandmother, things had continued on for a bit longer, before eventually the show had come to a close. It had been fun, and she had thanked Ellen for the invitation on. She had also promised to come back on the show in the future, maybe after the album releases.
While Billie was on her way home, she was already getting emails and calls about going on other talk shows. The biggest ones being Jimmy Fallon and Jimmy Kimmel. There was also the View, and some other ones, but those two were easily the ones she was most interested in.
There were even some emails about being a special guest on America's Got Talent and The Voice, the latter of which was a very new and recent show.
The amount of people that were emailing her business email and were calling her people was actually overwhelming, so she had to make sure they spread things out and didn't stay up trying to go through it all just today.
As it turns out, announcing that you are making a new album on a talk show watched by millions tends to make the news pretty quickly. Already there was speculations about a lot of the things she had talked about, the chief amongst them being the potential concerts she was thinking of doing.
Most of them were BS and not at all what she was planning, but there was a few speculations that were accurate. And she had also had her social media team post the name of the album and the song titles as well.
The first of the songs is already on Spotify and would be obtainable through other means as well. She expected to make quite a lot of money off that song, and it was only one of the songs in her new album.
Billie was overall very happy with the appearance on the show, and had found that Ellen was a nice lady. WAY better than her self in her past life. She did make some damn cringy jokes and was a little annoying at times, but she did not seem like a bitch like she was in her past life.
From what she could tell, all of her employees loved her and were treated very well. Something Ellen had personally ensured since they were the whole reason the show ran in the first place. Without them nothing would work, and nothing would be possible.
"That was amazing babe!" Haley said to her over the phone, as Billie was driving. She had it on speaker phone just to be safe.
"Thanks Haley. It was honestly a bit nerve wrecking in the beginning, but it got easy once we started to talk. Did you guys watch it all together?"
"Yep! Mom would have killed us if we didn't" Luke said over the phone, as Billie laughed.
"Well then, thank you all for the support! I should be back in 30 minutes or so. Do you guys want me to get you anything on the way back?"
Claire was the one who responded "Nope, we've got stuff here actually. I figured we could all have dinner together to celebrate!"
"Alright then, I'll see you in a bit" Billie replied, as they all said bye before she hung up, continuing to drive towards their home, one thought on her mind.
'I wonder what the Tonight Show would be like?'
