[3rd POV]
Ellen realized the more she talked with Billie, that the girl before her was basically a gold mine. The amount of headlines she was going to get from this one show was crazy. From the fact that she has made literally 245 songs in a single notebook, created from the ages of 11 until now. To the new song that hadn't even been revealed just yet.
There was others that had been on the show that were obviously a bit bigger in terms of importance, but those were literally the President himself and the First Lady. There was also a number of other people she thought could be considered more important, but they didn't bring headlines.
And those people were mostly the ones that ran charities. So she knew that Billie would agree that they were more important.
"Thanks? I make good music, but I don't think I'm that impressive" Billie replied upon hearing Ellen's compliment, with the woman snorting.
"Trust me, you are incredible Billie. I haven't seen a single guest on this show that has made that many songs, at least, not that young, and not over that short of a time. 245 songs over the course of 7 years is way beyond what a normal person can ever accomplish" Ellen said, shaking her head at the girls words.
Ellen realized that Billie really likes to underestimate herself when it comes to stuff like this. She doubted the girl even truly realized how incredible she was. And she probably wouldn't until a fellow artist told her such.
Ellen therefore wondered what it would take to get someone like Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift, Rihanna, or Beyoncé on the show. She was sure that at least one of them would be interested in meeting the superstar that was beginning to surpass all of them, and had already surpassed most of them.
As far as she knew, only Beyoncé and Gaga was still bigger than her, and even that was growing increasingly unlikely. She imagined once her new album released, and she started to release some more singles and such, that she would surpass them.
It was literally just a lack of music and a lack of time that made her smaller than them.
She had already broken a ton of records in the music space, most of them being very very old records that were next to impossible to ever be broken again.
Ellen compared the girl before her to a young Michael Jackson. She wasn't on the same level as his peak of course, and she was definitely not exactly the same, but she was getting there. And the biggest difference was that Billie did not have a family that also was in the business, nor did she have parents that were...well, not the kindest.
"Annnyways, what's your plans for the coming year? I know that a lot of people are hoping for...something, maybe another concert?" Ellen asked, not knowing about the tour and what she was planning on doing.
Billie bit her lip in thought, before smiling.
"I have a few plans. I can't and won't be saying any thing just yet, but there will be a few things coming later in the year that I am certain all of my fans will be excited about" Billie replied, Ellen raised her eyebrow in return, but didn't ask more.
Billie did just say that she wouldn't be explaining more.
"I'm tempted to ask, but I won't. But that is kind of mean, isn't it? Just teasing that in front of all your fans" Ellen said with a small grin on her face, as Billie realized what she was wanting, and smirked.
"Hmm...well, I guess I can give them something to look forward to" Billie said in response, as the lights began to dim in the room, and she got to her feet.
The audience watched in silent confusion as she began to walk over to another side of the stage, only for loud gasps to echo when they saw the piano, drums, and other instruments that were needed for what she was going to be playing.
And there was already people at those instruments, besides the Piano at least.
"No way!" One of the audience members yelled, as Ellen laughed, watching as Billie sat down in front of the Piano, and the lights dimmed even more. A light shone where Billie sat, as she breathed in before lifting her hands, and she began to slowly play.

"Wait, that's not a song I've heard from her before" A member of the audience said, as they listened to the piano play, before Billie opened her mouth.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I let it fall, my heart
And as it fell, you rose to claim it
It was dark, and I was over
Until you kissed my lips and you saved me
My hands, they were strong
But my knees were far too weak
To stand in your arms
Without falling to your feet
But there's a side to you
That I never knew, never knew
All the things you'd say
They were never true, never true
And the games you'd play
You would always win, always win
When I lay with you
I could stay there, close my eyes
Feel you here forever
You and me together, nothing is better
'Cause there's a side to you
That I never knew, never knew
All the things you'd say
They were never true, never true
And the games you'd play
You would always win, always win
But I set fire to the rain
Watched it pour as I touched your face
Well, it burned while I cried
'Cause I heard it screamin' out your name
Your name
I set fire to the rain
And I threw us into the flames
When we fell, somethin' died
'Cause I knew that that was the last time
The last time
Sometimes, I wake up by the door
That heart you caught must be waitin' for you
Even now, when we're already over
I can't help myself from lookin' for you
I set fire to the rain
Watched it pour as I touched your face
Well, it burned while I cried
'Cause I heard it screamin' out your name
Your name
I set fire to the rain
And I threw us into the flames
When we fell, somethin' died
'Cause I knew that that was the last time
The last time
Oh
Oh, no
Let it burn
Oh
Let it burn
Let it burn
During her singing, the reactions from the audience varied. As many of them went dead silent and simply listened. It was not everyday that you were personally listening to the first reveal of a new song from a huge artist like Billie Eilish.
Most of the audience members were HUGE fans of Billie, since Ellen had specifically gotten mega fans of the woman for the show. So she wasn't surprised when she heard squeals and cheers when Billie began to sing an entirely new, and unreleased song.
The song was great too, unique and different than Billie's normal style, but that was why so many of them found themselves enjoying it.
Billie did that quite often though. She switched up her styles consistently, but she never went too beyond the norm. She always had her songs be a bit more emotional or "Soft", and not anything like the modern pop songs like Gaga or Swift.
HD was another of those artists, but her music was pretty decent so it didn't matter either way.
By the time the song was done, and Billie was rising in to her feet, loud cheers echoed through the room, and Ellen was clapping with a bright smile on her face. The song sounded even better than she was expecting, and she genuinely enjoyed it.
Although she enjoyed most of Billie's music.
Sitting back down across from Ellen, Billie waited as the woman chuckled.
"So...what's the name of the song?"
"It's called "Set Fire to the Rain" as you could expect. And...it's a very special song" Billie replied, as Ellen raised an eyebrow.
"Oh? Why?"
"Because it's one of my new songs in my next album" Billie replied, as Ellen's eyes widened, and the crowd gasped.
"A new album? Wow, can't say I was expecting that!"
"Yeah well I figured this would be the best place to surprise everyone" Billie said with a small calm smile on her face, hearing the whispers of the audience in excitement.
"Okay, now I've gotta ask, when's it coming out? You can't just tease us like that!"
"March 21st, and the album itself is called "21". All I'll add is that there is 11 songs in the album at the moment" Billie replied, as she heard the excited cheers from the audience.
It wouldn't be long before it was releasing! Not only that, but that was 11 new songs at the same time!
"Well, I think I speak for everyone here when I say that I am very excited to see the rest of this new album of yours!" Ellen said, not hiding her own genuine excitement at the news.
All the while, Billie had only one thought on her mind.
'This was surprisingly fun!'
That's the end of the chapter!
Writing the Ellen chapters has been an absolute pain in the ass. So the next chapter will probably be like half Ellen show and then that'll be it. After that it'll be a timeskip most likely.
Anyways, have a good day!
