Afterward, Kurt and Anakin once again headed to the Plung System.
As soon as they exited hyperspace, Anakin and Obi-Wan felt the never-fading power of the Dark Side. Obi-Wan even felt some discomfort in his body, but Anakin had no problems. In his early years, Kurt had taught him both Light Side and Dark Side powers, and he had always used The Force as a tool.
"Such a dense Dark Side, but I've never heard of this!" Obi-Wan exclaimed in surprise, even feeling voices swirling around his ears.
"Hmm, I've already been here once before, but I couldn't find out why the Dark Side is so strong," Kurt said, and he wasn't lying. The Dark Side here was already very dense before Naga Sadow was brought here, which is why Naga Sadow's resurrection was chosen to take place here.
"You must be careful; the power here might corrupt us at any time," Obi-Wan said to Anakin, looking at the approaching planet. Anakin nodded. The Dark Side was not a monstrous flood to him. Everyone Kurt taught practiced Dual Cultivation of both the Dark Side and the Light Side, though it had never been evident, and even the Great Masters had never perceived their own Dark Side.
The spaceship landed in the snowstorm. Kurt saw footprints, indicating signs of other people's activity, as their last visit was a long time ago.
"Be careful, there are people here," Kurt warned.
However, Obi-Wan, who was beside him, was clearly uncomfortable operating on a planet with such a powerful Dark Side. He wasn't like Great Master Qui-Gon, who had begun to learn the path of the Unified Force, which allowed for coexistence. This was also a unique characteristic of Mandalorian Force-sensitives.
Obi-Wan nodded, placed his hand on his lightsaber, and then followed Kurt towards the Sith Temple in the distance.
Along the way, apart from the severe snowstorm, they did not encounter any monsters created by the Dark Side. It was clear that the battle between Naga Sadow and Kurt last time had killed these corrupted animals and various creations.
Finally, they reached the Sith Temple. Kurt heard the Cultists chanting spells again. He hadn't expected these Cultists to return. It seemed they had gone to other planets to procure or collect Sith artifacts.
Obi-Wan and Anakin hid behind a wall, listening to the chants inside.
Kurt, however, had no intention of hiding. He didn't want them to create any more strange things. He just wanted to finish them off quickly and let the Jedi see what was really happening on this planet and why such a situation had arisen.
His dark saber extended, and Kurt stood at the entrance.
Obi-Wan quickly reached out and said, "Take them alive. The Jedi Council has already said to find out what they are doing."
By this time, the Cultists had also discovered Obi-Wan and the others. They rushed forward with various weapons, and some even wielded red-orange lightsabers of the Sith, obtained from who knew where.
"If that's the case, then I'll spare their lives," Kurt said, raising his hand and directly controlling all the Cultists who came forward, stopping all their movements as if time had instantly frozen.
Anakin's eyes lit up. This skill was great; he had to learn it.
Obi-Wan took the opportunity to disarm everyone and then used ropes he found from who knew where to tie up these Cultists.
After tying them up, Kurt released his control over all the Cultists' movements.
A Cultist, who appeared to be their leader, shouted, "You Jedi! You have all destroyed the chance to save the Galaxy! They are coming soon, and the power of the Sith is necessary!"
Listening to this guy say such different things, Kurt was instantly bewildered. Could it be that a small Cultist group had two factions internally: one for salvation and one for conquest?
Kurt grabbed the man by his collar with one hand. "What are you talking about? Who is coming soon?"
"Those who hate machines! They are almost here, and only under the power of the Sith can we survive. This is the ancient Prophecy of that Great Master. It is for this moment that we have prepared for so long to resurrect him!"
The more Kurt listened, the more confused he became. What was he talking about? It sounded like something currently absent was approaching, and powerful strength was needed to resist it. Hmm... interesting. Based on most of what was said, it might be the Yuuzhan Vong, whom he had only heard of in the Star Wars Universe, but he had never truly understood them. At most, he had read some rumors about them, saying they were very strong and had even invaded Coruscant.
But he couldn't be sure; who knew what he was really talking about?
Obi-Wan was even more completely confused about what was coming and going, but there was only one keyword: resurrecting the Sith.
"You people, who will eventually be destroyed, just die in ignorance! The Jedi Order's demise will also come eventually. That Great Master saw everything long ago!" After saying this, the man suddenly tilted his neck and died!
Kurt's eyes widened instantly. Someone didn't want them to know these things, right here in this temple. It was clearly not these Cultists; it seemed to be the source of the Dark Side in this temple.
"In that instant, I felt the power of the Dark Side," Obi-Wan keenly noticed that brief moment.
"It seems their Great Master is not dead at all and is still hiding. Last time was just a ruse," Kurt laughed. How interesting. He had pushed out a hidden hand to deceive everyone, but he hadn't expected to return here. Naga Sadow was completely manipulated and outsmarted. It seems he had been a lingering spirit for too long and his mind wasn't working properly.
"Let's go out first. When we destroy this place directly, he will definitely show himself," Kurt told the two to leave first, preparing to let the hiding fellow get a taste of what was coming.
A cloaked figure, hidden in an unknown interstice of the temple, heard this and instantly stood up from his cross-legged position on the ground. He knew this would be very simple for Kurt, who had merely been hiding and suppressing himself. He quickly used The Force to transmit his voice into Kurt's ears.
"Please don't do that, Great Master Kurt. Please come from the location of the treasury. I will transport you there."
Kurt nodded upon hearing this. After all, he really did intend to destroy the place, not just scare them.
"It seems we've stumbled into something big," Anakin joked.
"That's how it is. Strange things always happen around Kurt. Perhaps you two, the child of the force, are more than the sum of your parts," Obi-Wan remained optimistic.
As the three walked to the location of the Sith treasury, multiple hidden Sith runes suddenly appeared on the ground, reflecting each other. They appeared in a small room where only one window allowed light to enter.
In the illuminated spot stood a brown-skinned Zabrak, covered in various tattoos, who could be described as practically dead.
"Who are you?" Kurt asked.
"A name is just a useless symbol. Call me Prophecy. Anyway, I'm already as good as dead. I had originally intended to sacrifice these people to revive myself, but now it doesn't matter," the Prophecy walked down from his high platform, looking as if he could be blown over by the wind at any moment.
However, all three present could feel The Force within his body. He was a Force-sensitive, just like Kurt, on the path of the Unified Force.
But his Force was already very faint, almost imperceptible.
"Perhaps you are very confused about what I do? Then I will explain."
