"As you can see, I am a Force-sensitive and a Force user known as the Unified Force, but a thousand years ago I was a Sith, filled with all kinds of extremes. However, when I faced defeat, I began to search for other texts to understand why the invincible Dark Side lost to the Light Side."
The old man recounted his story.
"In an ancient text, I discovered that there was no such thing as a conflict between Jedi and Sith. Everyone used The Force, but for their own purposes, they created two dichotomies: the Light Side and the Dark Side. After discovering this, I stopped what I was doing and began to learn the power known as the Light Side."
"Furthermore, I discovered that only the Unified Force is the true The Force; the Sith and Jedi are all lies. Only The Force is the sole truth. One must be the master of The Force, not its servant."
"During my studies, I felt a sense of nothingness and saw some extraterrestrials called gods. Their existence was simply the real-world manifestation of The Force in the Galaxy. After this, I was no longer obsessed with cultivating The Force and instead began to study alchemy and Prophecy. In that, I found the meaning of my existence."
"I prophesied everything, saw things a thousand years into the future. The great events of the Universe were all in my eyes. So, to resist those monsters without The Force, I have lived until now. But your existence broke the Prophecy, yet it will also be a part of the Prophecy. All of this is destined to happen."
He spoke these convoluted words to the three, finally getting to the important part: the outsiders.
"In the future I saw, the entire Galaxy was engulfed in war, and even Coruscant was once conquered. Although victory was ultimately achieved, the cost was extremely heavy. So, to resist them, I only have this method: to live on and eventually give my life. This is the meaning of The Force and my meaning, as if to atone for the mistakes of my first half of life."
"Who exactly are they?" Kote and Obi-Wan asked simultaneously.
"The children of Yun-Yuuzhan — the Yuuzhan Vong, also known to me as the Yuuzhan Vong," the old man said what he had seen. Instantly, a warning bell went off in Kote's heart, as he had heard of this race before his Transmigration, and it was even one of the most powerful extraterrestrial forces in the Star Wars Legends, in a sense, one of the Great Bosses.
"However, just now, after you arrived, the future has changed. It has become confusing, and I don't know if what I saw is still normal. So, I don't need my help anymore." The old man turned into dust and vanished. Even more than half of the Dark Side power on this planet instantly disappeared.
"How did he disappear without explaining anything?" Anakin hadn't even figured out what was happening when the old man, known as the Prophecy, had already vanished without a trace in The Force.
"Clearly, Kote's vision was correct. War will come soon, but we no longer have evidence. And the current Jedi Masters will absolutely not believe this, especially now that the Sith issue has them busy searching for traces all over the Galaxy," Obi-Wan sighed. After all, he was already overwhelmed; how could such a major event concerning the entire Galaxy suddenly appear, and they had no evidence at all.
"But we cannot sit idly by, so we must prepare in advance. The current Republic has no way to deal with any strike," Kote never expected that he would not only be fighting against a behemoth like the Empire but also potentially the Yuuzhan Vong!
"You're right. So, let's pretend this never happened. Telling the Republic in advance would only make them think it's a story to scam military funds. But Kote, I ask you, for the people of the Galaxy, develop Mandalore. I will pretend I didn't see anything and will not report it to the Republic, for the people of the Galaxy." Obi-Wan had a complete understanding of the current Republic Council and government's effectiveness and had no hope that they would function normally.
"Then welcome to the Mandalore family, Obi-Wan," Anakin said upon hearing Obi-Wan's words, as he trusted Obi-Wan's character.
Obi-Wan wondered why Anakin said that, a question mark appearing above his head.
"What do you mean?"
"Literally, you have joined the Mandalore cause," Kote echoed.
Obi-Wan still didn't understand how he had joined the Mandalore family. He had never made his relationship with Satine official. Did they know something?!
"It seems you still don't understand. It means you are now one of the true insiders, and it also means you should know about our future."
"True insider?"
"That's right, you will know most of our plans. Of course, you can choose not to know; it's not mandatory. But if you let others know all this without my permission, I will help you forget it all, though I don't wish to do so."
"Tell me, I think I can accept these now. I swear by The Force within my body that I will never mention or indirectly hint at this to anyone else." Obi-Wan made what he considered the most important oath, and in this Galaxy where The Force truly exists, such an oath would largely come true.
But for extra caution, Kote began to read Obi-Wan's mind.
"All of this begins three years in the future. A movement to split the Galaxy will begin, followed by the Clone Wars, and finally, the Sith will win everything. The Jedi Order will be destroyed. All of this must happen, and I must make these things happen."
"But if we stop these things in advance, more innocent people will be spared casualties."
"Do you really think the current Galaxy won't have war? The Republic has always been on the verge of eruption. Besides, in the face of Mandalore's interests, all of this must happen. But our existence is to reduce innocent casualties. You can imagine that our actions will save more people, won't they?"
Obi-Wan pondered Kote's words, as Kote had mentioned the current state and future of the Galaxy many times before, expressing concern and giving warnings, but no one else had ever truly believed Kote's words.
Soon, Obi-Wan finished processing it.
"So, you want to replace the Republic and become the new winner, a Galaxy ruled by Mandalore? So you've laid out a plan, keeping both the Republic and the Sith in the dark, letting them both suffer heavy losses, and then Mandalore will rule, right?"
"That's right; you can think of it that way. But do you think a Republic that is as good as nonexistent can fight against a warrior race from outside the Galaxy? Or do you think the Jedi Order can fight them? This is a war that requires the entire Galaxy to fight," Kote said, stating the simplest truth.
Obi-Wan completely understood what the current Galaxy was like, or rather, it had never changed. The Republic had always been based on the Inner Rim planets, while the Outer Rim had always been bled dry, leading to the current situation. It was even impossible to unite; there had never been any unity, as some people on Outer Rim planets didn't even know of the Republic's existence, yet they were constantly paying taxes.
"And Anakin was placed by you?" Obi-Wan suddenly realized this question.
"That's right, Obi-Wan, I was placed by Mandalore to save more Jedi when the time comes. Perhaps you may not believe Kote and me, but you can use The Force to look into our hearts, to see if what we say is true, and if it's only for Mandalore to become the overlord of the Galaxy." Anakin revealed his hand at this moment.
At this moment, Obi-Wan felt as if he was living in a carefully constructed lie. Everything before him was unreal; he even thought it was a dream, or perhaps Great Master Qui-Gon was still alive and had not died.
Kote heard Obi-Wan's thoughts.
"No, all of this is real. Even Great Master Qui-Gon survived. Perhaps it would be more convincing to have him explain it to you personally." Kote patted Obi-Wan's shoulder.
Obi-Wan truly hadn't expected it. He really wanted to see Great Master Qui-Gon again. At this moment, he desperately needed Great Master Qui-Gon's guidance.
