Chapter 113 - Chapter 112: The Police Force Finally Expands

However, there was no way to contact Thrawn right now. He was in the northeastern part of the Galaxy, and he didn't even know where the Chiss were. He could only secretly send ships to that area for reconnaissance, but it was best to avoid any conflicts.

He called Omen to arrange this matter: to conduct simple reconnaissance in the Unknown Star Domain, and to report immediately if anyone claiming to be Chiss was encountered.

After arranging this matter, Kote Vizsla sat in his chair in deep thought. Time was running out, the Clone Wars were approaching, and the changes in the Galaxy were about to begin. Was Mandalore ready?

On Mandalore, Satine Kryze was troubled by recent reports from various cities and planets, which indicated that a Mandalorian terrorist organization, referred to as an extremist group, was carrying out terrorist attacks on various planets. The police force didn't even have enough personnel to investigate.

"Your Highness, Duchess, the extremist group sent us a message a few days ago, saying they plan to destroy the Alchemy District in Sundari," Leon, the current Commander, handed over the message from the extremist group, which was actually a staged message from within the police force.

"Why are they doing this? Is it because they are dissatisfied with society or are they being instigated by someone?" Satine Kryze asked Leon.

"This... we haven't investigated yet, but not only on Mandalore, many planets in the Star Domain have received such attack warnings. Every time our officers arrive, they can't find any clues at the scene. It's even difficult for them to maintain public order on the planets because they are investigating them in the Star Domain," Leon said, describing the current situation. However, in reality, the officers had already set up the bombs in advance and were carrying out controlled demolitions, which would not harm anyone.

Satine Kryze did not want the people to fall into such a situation again. "Then increase the police force. You can apply to the Ministry of Finance for approval. Catch them as soon as possible. No one wants to sleep on bombs every day."

"Yes, I will immediately begin evacuating the people there and strictly guarding it. We must catch this organization that has been causing trouble for over a year," Leon accepted the order and immediately went to the Ministry of Finance to submit the application.

As soon as he left the palace, the corners of his mouth unconsciously turned up. The initial plan was finally completed. Although Kote Vizsla had not given instructions for the next step, he planned to begin a major purge within the police force, replacing all officers who were too extreme or too peaceful. Their existence would be too dangerous in the future.

However, if necessary, new projects could be secretly developed, and specialized police equipment could be purchased from Vadir Shipyards. This would also serve as early training, as no one knew when the Clone Wars would arrive.

Just as the police force began to increase its personnel, in the distant Xiost System.

Tens of thousands of SCVs were working at high speed, and new cruisers were constantly being launched. The successful Clone technology of the adjutant was also continuing here, creating more Clones for Mandalore in preparation for future wars, as disputes would begin once the Clone Wars started.

Living on Xiost were three hundred thousand of the first batch of CE Kote Clones. Each wore CMC400 armor and carried a Gauss rifle. Many also served as special forces, and every one had undergone flight training, making them qualified starfighter pilots. They conducted simulated wars daily, and in their free time, they had other hobbies to choose from, as after the Clone Wars, they would all be civilians and have their own lives.

But Count Dooku, having been rebuffed by Vadir, also left Vadir and returned to his ship to report to his master.

"Master, I have expressed my thoughts to Kote Vizsla, but all he spoke of was the Republic and how the Outer Rim was, telling me to build it up instead of just complaining here, and stating that he did not want to join our plans," Dooku reported to the holographic image of Sidious, kneeling.

"Hmph, short-sighted. I understand. Now, continue with your main task: bring more planets into your faction, so we will have more confidence in our war against the Republic," Sidious said, outlining Dooku's next mission.

"What about instigating a civil war on Mandalore? Why don't we send people to kill Kote Vizsla and select a leader from within who we can manipulate? Then, after killing Satine Kryze, the entire Mandalore will fall into our hands!" Dooku stated his plan, as Mandalore's combat power and manpower were far superior to ordinary planets. Even the strongest ordinary human they selected was a Mandalorian.

Sidious, under his cloak, shook his head and asked with a slight frown, "Do you think you can kill him, or do you think your subordinates can kill him?"

Dooku thought about Kote Vizsla's information and The Force he could perceive. Kote Vizsla could even crush him with his bare hands, and he wouldn't even be able to resist. The Dark Side on him was much denser than his own, but the Light Side was also incredibly powerful.

"No, but I have a question for you."

"What is it?"

"Why does Kote Vizsla possess both sides of The Force, and so incredibly powerful? Is he a hidden Sith?" Dooku was full of doubts. He even felt that Sidious's power was not as strong as Kote Vizsla's.

"You don't need to know this. You just need to know that he will ultimately stand by our side," Sidious told him not to worry. This was his most promising student, and he would make him completely fall to the Dark Side eventually.

"Yes, Master, but should the plan to provoke a civil war on Mandalore continue?"

"Continue, but it should be a force that is neither too big nor too small, and it must be firmly controlled by us," Sidious finished speaking and ended the communication.

Dooku also drove towards the next planet.

Finally, ten days later, Obi-Wan and Anakin arrived on Vadir, ready to head to the Plung System.

"Why are you so slow?" Kote Vizsla asked.

Obi-Wan shrugged helplessly. "We had to report it to the Council first."

"Troublesome," Anakin grumbled.

Kote Vizsla made a shushing gesture to him. He couldn't say such things; it was the rule.

"He's always like this, he doesn't want to follow the rules. I'm used to it," Obi-Wan initially thought Anakin was not a very mischievous child, but he forgot that this child grew up under Kote Vizsla's watch. Thinking about how much better Kote Vizsla was when he was young compared to Anakin, he felt relieved.

"It would clearly be faster that way..." Anakin muttered softly under his breath.

But everyone present had excellent hearing and immediately burst out laughing.

"Still a child indeed," Kote Vizsla ruffled Anakin's golden hair, just like when he was little.

"I'm not little!" Anakin protested.

"You'll be grown up when you become a Jedi Knight," Obi-Wan watched the two of them.

"Agreed," Kote Vizsla concurred. But even if he became a Jedi Knight, he would still have the same personality, though he would be mature overall.

"Alright, let's go to Plun now. I'm sure this is Anakin's first time seeing a Sith Temple," Kote Vizsla said, motioning for the two to board the ship.

"It's not just Anakin, it's actually my first time too," Obi-Wan stated similarly.
