I have to admit I didn't want to see Elena, not after what she's done. Of all the people who could
believe the fabricated lies I didn't expect that from her. It was disappointing and it hurt, it was
shitty.
She did however say that it was about Mahira so that's why I agreed to meet her.
She came alone wearing a dress coat and sneakers, her hair was tied up in a messy bun.
'Make it quick whatever you want to talk about.'
Elena nodded her head. Her teeth were chattering against each other and she didn't look really
comfortable with being outside that too in the dark.
'Come with me.'
I took her to my apartment and made a cup of coffee for her and poured myself a glass of wine.
She looked at my glass of wine but she didn't say anything.
'Talk, I don't have time.'
'I'm really sorry for how I treated Mahi fairy but I had to do it.'
'Are you justifying yourself right now? Really?'
'If you'd listen to me you'd know why I did it but you are jumping into conclusions and not giving
me the chance to explain myself. I'm not as bad as you think I am.'
'Listen here girly. You used to be my favorite and I loved you so much until you and your brother
ruined Mahira's life.'
'Aunt Kaashvi, I really don't care if you hate me or love me. Mahira fairy still loves me and her
love for me is more than enough. But for now please put your enmity against me aside because
I know something that you don't.'
'Get straight to the point.'
'That video of Mahira killing grandmother, it's real.'
I rolled my eyes at her. She has the audacity to call me out late at night and tell me this bullshit.
'Ooh! So you are here to convince me to consider Mahi as a murderer.' 'Again you didn't let me finish talking, you are just jumping into conclusions.'
I kept quiet and drank from the wine.
'That video is not edited. It's real, with no filters. But the person in the video is not Fairy, it's
Aliya. Aliya had face surgery to look like Fairy. Only I know about it till date. Brother doesn't
know either.'
That filthy bitch. What the hell was she doing getting surgery to look like Mahi?
'Brother believed what he saw and I'm sure he was fed more lies than just this.'
'Does that give him the right to torture and punish Mahi for a crime she did not commit?'
'Ariana has been released from prison again by Bianca.'
'Who's Bianca?'
'Thane's co-pilot. She has been living with Thane. She wants him for herself. They've fucked
multiple times. But the matter at hand now is that Ariana is a psychopath and whatever her plan
is may prove fatal for all of us.'
'Okay, this I know now but why are you treating Mahi so badly?'
'I had to. I have a plan but for it to work, Ariana has to think that none of us is associated with
Mahira. Angelo and Alexander really hate Mahira but it's because of Thane basically.'
All of this was way too risky. It's like we are all gambling with Mahira's life and she's the one
affected by our games.
'Don't you know how bad Mahira's mental health is? One mistake she might experience a
stroke. You are gambling with her life. Do you know how heavy it is on her that she has to hear
her children tell her that they hate her? You're just like your family…'
'Don't compare me to them, please. At least let my family's souls rest in peace. I understand
your love for fairy and you want to protect her but enough. Stop blaming me for fairy's condition.
I have to fix things and I can't do it alone, that's why I am asking you for help. Do you know how
hard it is right now for me to be this strong? It's unbearable. I wish I could hug fairy and cry on
her chest but no, I can't even do that. For 11 months I was working as a waitress and
immediately when I turned 17 I was raped. That's quite hard on me and I wish I could die but I'm
not going to do that because I know that fairy wouldn't want that. Aunt Kaashvi please... Please
stop misunderstanding me.'
Elena is right. I shouldn't vent my anger on her. She hasn't wronged Mahira. My enmity is with
Thane. Mahira is in this darn fuck buddy contract for the sake of her children who hate her.
And Elena doesn't deserve my hatred especially after everything she's been through.
'Okay Elena what's your plan?'
'I need your help to get rid of Ariana and Bianca. But as for Ariana simply locking her up in
prison will do us no good. She has to die.'
'You want us to murder her. Elena, are you insane we'll get arrested.'
'Not us, someone else can kill her and get away with it. We need to make sure if the law
punishes her then it's a death sentence. If the law can't do that then only two people can kill her,
Thane or Adamsen. Thane is part of the military force so if we orchestrate a plan that will
provoke him to kill Ariana without being punished by law. Adamsen can kill her because he's
part of a mafia organization so he can even evade the law.'
'How do we do that?'
'Bianca and Thane have to get married. Ariana wouldn't like that. Ariana planted a bomb in
Bianca's neck. We need to convince her that Bianca is betraying her so that at Thane's wedding she threatens to blow Bianca into smithereens. That will provoke Thane to shoot her to save
Bianca. In that time we should also gather evidence against Bianca so that she gets arrested.'
'Sometimes I wonder if you're a kid. How long have you been planning this?"
'Well my plan was to reunite Thane and Mahira but after all the abuse and violence I'm not
going to do that.'
'I don't trust Thane with Mahira anymore. After her year contract I don't want to see Thane near
her.'
Elena looked down. We came to an agreement and from that day on we worked together.
First Elena convinced Thane to divorce Mahi and marry Bianca instead. The fool agreed to do
that.
The divorce papers were sent to Mahi. Elena kept planting evidence against Bianca ensuring
that Ariana always saw it, making her believe that Bianca was working on betraying her and
hopefully she would get angry enough to try and kill her.
Elena was suffering from depression anxiety and we'll PTSD from what she experienced and Thane didn't even care. He never checked on the kids. He was so focused on himself he forgot about them so I took her to therapy myself and paid for it.
