No one on the island was told I was Sasha. When they asked my name I said it was Alexi. Roland flinched when he heard it. He said he remembered the memory of me in the hospital. Where I was fighting to stay conscious mom was playing cheerleader. She is the one who calls me Alexi. She hates calling me Sasha. She would ask me who I am. I would reply I am her apex predator. Oleg tilted his head as he watched the memory. Tears would roll down his cheeks as he sees mom's expression as I passed out. I pat him on the head as I sat down to eat. He gave me a hug. He felt distant as though he was forced to hug me. I just got up and left. He followed me and we danced till the sunset. We went upstairs and he dozed off. I simply touched his forehead and saw he loved me. He was distant because he recalled the day he almost lost his own mom. I sat to watch him sleep. I drank a blood bag and watch the donor's memories. He was an investigative reporter. He believes I will eventually come here. He doesn't support Jayden but he believes that I am wide awake. He doesn't understand why I chose to stay hidden. He doesn't believe I am hiding to avoid false accusations.
I happily watched the sun rise and woke Oleg up. He yanked in bed and tucked me under him and snores some more. I laughed as I recalled the babies snoring. It was more adorable thing I have ever heard. How they move from side to side and everything. I looked up to Oleg staring at me, "Do not compare me to your babies. Those handfuls are in a league of their own. I am still getting used to being a husband. I am shocked that I am a dad. Just to be clear I am not upset. I never knew you of all people have ever raise children. You seem like a lone wolf type." I shrugged, "I tried lone wolf. I tried to backpack my way around America but I only lasted a few days and a few nations before I turned back. I need company and I need love. I know you are upset that people overrule your opinion. I will try to be more open minded." He smiled, "You listened when you refused the frost vampires. I told you to stay in the room. You listened. Thank you." Roland banged on the door, "Breakfast is ready. Come out or I come in." Oleg threw his shoe and Roland left. Kiska yelled something in Scandinavian and I heard heavy footsteps. We got up and changed before we went down for breakfast.
After breakfast we decided to leave since my donor's memories freaked everyone out. Only Nocturnals knew I was here to everyone else I was another aristocratic werewolf having fun under the Hawaiian sun. I boarded a plane and got to the main land. I was taken to where the salt flats were. The lighthouse was not longer there but still remnants of the building stood. I recalled the days I spent here. I was enjoying it when I heard a whining sound. I told everyone to jump into the ocean since I sense trouble. My own jumped in with me without any further questions. The others stood still and was blown to smithereens. The police had questions. I answered all of them and had thanked me as he walked away. The culprit who was caught explained that he was tired of other beings roaming around and he and others like him wanted things like it used to be. Planet Earth should just have only human population. Everyone else can just board a ship and move elsewhere like refugees. He was told he killed humans and the Nocturnals were the only ones to survive because they have sensitive hearing. He apologized for innocent lives lost. He promised to be more selective next time.
He didn't get to honour that promise. He was killed on his way to the courthouse. The killer was an old man in his fifties. One of the victims was his one and only grandchild. He was devastated. He was arrested but many came out to support him. They all agreed that since the aliens moved here the zombies hoard has thin out. The news announced newer and more worst variants of zombies since the army was caught collecting specimen and transporting them to the unknown regions. The locals agree that anyone who thins the population was labelled from the death cult. They had heard of people preaching about an earth with only humans as residents. The public reminded them of the two world wars. The Korean war and the Vietnam wars. Now they can't just make up a story and invade somewhere to rob another nation turning them into a third world country while the invader becomes richer. So they had better learn some life skills and let others have a life too. The aliens and humans go to school together. Some were apprehensive about it but others willingly welcomed the newcomers.
I asked if we could go to the Citadel. We went there and saw a few Nocturnals still calling it home. The place was well looked after. They stood tall as they welcomed me home. We partied and I connected with other council members so they know where I am. They were happy I was state side and was upset about the terrorist attack. Their angry representatives argued in the parliament about this and showed the interrogation video as proof. They left out the strong sense of hearing. The humans senators apologized and the alien senators all applauded the Nocturnals bravery and the public's assessment. They agreed about the world wars and so on. The newly formed global senate does not take invasion lightly. Unlike the previous Useless Nations they actually take action instead of strong condemnation or selective ignorance. The public approved the new world order. Each country had a representative. One human, one aliens and one Nocturnal. The aliens explained that humans have traversed to their territories in the hopes to find me. They believe that I shouldn't be sleeping or are not asleep. The Nocturnals are a singular nation. So they had to take a moment to explained their absolute laws has been and will always be non-negotiable.
The humans were hoping to place newer securities since more aliens are coming. The aliens promised these refugees will stay for a little while and move on. They are not interested in overpopulation any more than the rest of us. The military forces explained they are concerned not for the refugees. They are worried about another invasion. The orbital stations were ready with sensors, weaponry and shield but the army wanted sensors as far as Pluto. They wanted early warning systems so they can evacuate everyone to the lower levels. There was much discussion and they agreed to send a few dozen probes that would operate as early warners. Oleg took me to the city and got us a hotel room. We all stayed in the Royal suite. We all got massages and were pampered like we were royalty. Roland reminded me I was royalty. I smiled at him before jumping into the swimming pool. We went to expensive restaurants and underground clubs. It was amazing till another cult fool decided to shoot up the restaurant. People dove under as the bullets went everywhere. The bullet pops out of the werewolves and they changed into their form. The terrorist froze in terror as they were surrounded. They ran out of bullets. The werewolves were furious so they broke the terrorist's bones before they changed back. It wasn't just my dearest. There were werewolves from other clans as well.
The police arrested the crooks and took them to the hospital first. The owner thanked the werewolves for their help. We had dinner on the house. I was escorted to the penthouse and security was doubled. The werewolf incharge wanted to see every encounter I had with werewolves. He saw everything and was speechless, "You saved thrice and it took four hundred years for us to accept you." I told him let bygones be bygones. I don't want to be trouble. Oleg came and told me to extend my senses to see what was going on. The werewolf told him to calm down. I introduced Oleg as my husband and head of security. The man backed away with respect. Oleg smiled slightly but said nothing. I extended my senses to find the nest of these vermin. The werewolf introduced himself as Jenson. I linked with him and he saw everything. He called a friend who called in an anonymous tip. They were arrested and we left the city. Jenson was sad we were leaving but I explained that I don't want to lose family members anymore. I am trying to stay hidden to avoid being falsely accused and make sure my family stay safe and sound. I made the mistake of showing him Jayden. He didn't think it was a mistake and he agreed to keep me a safe and sound.
He sent for a private plane which took me to Europe. I stayed inside as the others stretched their legs. The plane finally landed in Japan. The estate was beautiful. The owner was a werewolf name Ronin. He happily arranged our stay until a small curfuffle turned brawl distracted him. The authorities wanted to arrest the werewolf. I took a small drop of blood and pointed out the culprit. I was told that I need to show them physical proof so I looked around and found a hidden camera which proved my point. The policeman asked me how I did it. I explained that all vampires can pull out secrets from blood. It is information. He cut his finger and extended his hand. I took a few drops and and told him how to unlock his phone. The names of women he had crushes on. His fear and what boils his blood. What bores him and what he is looking for. He froze for hf a second and I told him the password to his gun safe. Roland was laughing the entire time. Ronin watched with interest.
The officer let me go and Ronin declared he was in my debt. I told him that I needed a place to pay low while I figure out what I am going to do when I am empress. He summoned his men and they pledged their allegiance to me. The security was doubled and I was escorted to council sessions where I met vampire and werewolves who from the samurai era. Some wore ninja outfits whilst other wore samurai outfit. They all looked immaculate and very serious as they listened to each other. All of them tried to find middle ground. They still had swords and other traditional weapons laid out on the table like this was a truce. I was awed. The ninja made a critical mistake disrespecting me. She changed into werewolf and tried to jump me. I snarled and she changed back before she reached me. I told her to behave herself. She wanted to hurt me. I finally had enough and screamed. She fell down and had seizures as she coughed up blood.
After she died I asked if anyone else has the urge to hurt someone who comes in peace. They said nothing. All they did was gesture me to take a seat. Ronin explained that I am Sasha. The Nocturnal's crown princess and their future empress. I am here to see how my family was doing. He was insulted they allowed it to happen. They first wanted to see if I could overpower them all. They pulled out their swords and guns before they charged. I did it without moving an inch. All I did was sneeze and they threw their weapons and fell face first to the floor. They pledge their allegiance and I forgave them just this once. We talked about the humans who are looking for ways to obliterate us all. They are going to send feelers everywhere. Their job is identify these people and arrest them. I was moved to a different place. A larger property with ninjas as a permanent perimeter guard. The samurai were next layer of protection. Mine were the last line of defense. The building was a samurai home. It had sliding doors. The floor had tatami mats. I saw futon mattresses. I wore kimono and everything. The council was informed of my presence. I was asked not to move around or use my gifts. Since it could attract trouble. They respected my security and was courteous with my husband.
