"How about our baby?"
The question instantly made Thalia freeze. The expression on her face slowly disappeared.
Her gaze fell onto the sleeping baby inside the carrier. For a long moment, Thalia remained silent.
Honestly… She had never thought that far.
For most of her life, she had been focused on surviving.
Then she became focused on becoming human.
And after meeting William, probably her attention had gradually shifted toward building a future with him.
Very little time had been spent thinking about what would happen if she had a child or maybe she hadn't thought about it at all.
"I don't know." Her answer came out quietly.
William frowned, "You don't know?"
Thalia nodded, "I really don't."
She leaned back against the seat, "I don't even know what a child between someone like me and a human is supposed to be."
A complicated expression appeared on her face.
