I took a lazy breath in, my whole body relaxing visibly on the mat. The view was absolutely breathtaking.
The clearing stretched wide and open, carved perfectly out of the dense forest like it had been hidden there on purpose. Somewhere to the side, music drifted through the air, barely loud enough to get attention but enough to fill the silence in the air.
Various voices blended into it. Laughter, excited giggles and muffled gossips.
For a moment… I almost envied it.
"You look like you're about to fall asleep."
I cracked one eye open, turning my head slightly toward the source of the voice. Collins stood a few feet away, two glasses of drinks
in his hand, looking far too satisfied with himself.
"I might," I replied lazily, not bothering to sit up. "This is the first time in days I'm not overthinking my entire existence."
He huffed a quiet laugh, lowering himself onto the mat without invitation.
