The walk to the they thought to be a boundary of the platform. They stared at the web island, and saw that the roots and wines bridges leading to the neighbors islands. Some didn't connect directly to the land, but to a cliff that needed to be climbed to get to the island's walking areas. And the Web island connected to the walking area, but the problem was the bird in the sky. All of them look around the sky, hoping to see the [Hunting Darkgale] and their mother, the Ascended Tyrant.
"Your guys, how many tyrants do you think we will meet?"
"Tyrants as you think."
Lesser look at Lee. Lesser face was paler than normal and Lee With a smug face. Mary turns to them.
"Now or never."
Adam began to run first, Mary followed after. Lee and Lesser run after, and Dreamsoul follows. It still hadn't gotten a weapon yet, but they were on time to move. Adam and Mary had collected some soul shard to absorb and to try crafting with. They wanted to have a bow, but Lesser had no confidence to make one and make it into a memory.
They ran to the root bridge, the bridge was big enough for all of them to walk beside each other. But they needed to jump down to it first, it wasn't far down, only 300 cm down.
Adam jumped first, his landing was not clean with his armor on. Mary got to the edge and waited for Lee to jump next, Lee and Lesser got to the edge. Lesser stop, but Lee contended to move, then jumped, when he landed he did a roll. Getting from the roll to his feets looks easy for him. Mary and Lesser turn to each other.
"He seems used to that."
"Yeah, he seems… Your turn to jump."
Lesser sigh, and jumped down. His landing wasn't bad, better than someone with armor, but still bad for the rest. Mary jumped down after she landed and seemed to fall slower than the rest of them, and she was. Adam and Lee turn to Lesser, his face was easy to read for them, and what they saw was surprise.

"Her armor did make her float right?"
"Yeah, to what Lesser said, but he also said it was active, meaning it shouldn't work."
"Yeah, maybe if you fall with it down some distance it will slow your falling."
Everyone heard what they were talking about, and by everyone, it was Mary and Lesser. Mary showed embarrassment and Lesser was ashamed. He didn't know why it made her fall slower, its enhancement didn't say anything about slow fall. Did he miss something in its description or was the wording not correct.
Mary landed and looked at Lesser. Then turn to Adam and Lee.
"Let's go."
They began to walk only to hear the sound of something heavy landing behind them. The impact had shaken the root bright slightly. It was Dreamsoul landing. Its calm face didn't change, but they noticed its body was shaking. They couldn't read it, so they continued to go to the next island. Adam in front, in the middle was Mary and Lee. Lesser was in the back with his echo. They all were ready to run if the birds attacked.
The walk, then walk some more, then the got to the next island. They were holding their breaths. And when they got to the island, it left fast.
Adam jumped back fast, his weapon flying at something the rest hadn't seen yet. Adam's other weapon was now lifted up, with both of his arms now as he ran forward. They rest of Follow thought. What they saw was ten birds lying down, and one was big and having the [Rush Thorn] striking out of it. A second past, but the birds didn't move. Adam stamps the big one, and then grabs the [Rush Thorn] and takes it out. Turning the rest of his cohort that was running behind him.
"It's dead… more accurate, all of them are."
True to his word, all of them were dead, but what lesser saw them it scared him more. It wasn't the group that had attacked them. The colors were different, the ones that attacked them had red neck feathers, not orange. And on closer look, all of them had their heads, claws and wings crushed. And their bodies had chunks of flesh missing. And so Lesser spoke.
"Looking at them, either they fought another flock of birds or these island creatures are stronger."
"From the red, orange and green? feathers on the ground, there were more than three flocks of birds fighting and only one group died."
Adam said look around the area. Lee was plocking the feather of the nightmare birds. Mary was lying on one that wasn't cut that much. Lesser and Adam look at her.
"What! Their feathers are fluffy."
Adam and Lesser sigh.

It took thirty minutes to carve the shards out and removing the feathers from the bird's bodies, and tacking stuff out from the [Tears of Home]. What was now lying in the chest was logs, leaves, fruits, feathers and two different types of meats. The shards were lying in an improvised bag that was made from the leather of the nightmare turtle that Lesser was carrying. Because he had the most essence absorbed, making him stronger of them, but as he wasn't good at fighting without Lee attribute, he was made to carry things. Lesser didn't mind that, because he wanted to get closer to the metarians. He was after all the crafter there.
It was easier to cut the meat from the birds, so it didn't take much time for them. They were now looking at the forest covered with webs.
"Is it too late to go to another platform?"
Lesser asked and Mary answered.
"Yeah."
"..."
"..."
Adam and his floating torch were still waking first, but the Dreamsoul was now joining him in the front. And Mary had moved from the middle to the back. And so the walk.
It was dark in the web forest, and the only lightsshine they had was the [Undaying Flame]. It wasn't that bright, and that made the web forest even more creepy, for everyone. But it was Lesser that was the most calm of them. He only saw spiders and insects on the internet before so it was exciting for him if it wasn't so creepy there.
The walk for about an hour, if Lesser was current about his time clock. He wasn't sore about that, do. But the first creature they encountered was a spider. More arcuate, spiders. Fifty of them and they weren't that big, only up the knee of Lesser, and he was the shortest of the cohort, at 145 cm (4'9 feet).
Most of the spider was black with white spots, but five had white and blue spots. Only one was pure white and only it was an awakened monster, everyone else was dormant beasts. so it didn't take much time to kill them. After all, Dreamsoul was fighting most of them and the Pure white spider at the same time.

Lesser had only time to kill five, before Dreamsoul killed twenty of them. Adam killed ten of them, Lee killed seven, and Mary killed eight. It wasn't hard, the spiders didn't have hard bodies compared to the trees. But the hardest part was the sting and webbing that the spiders use. All of the webs and strings were different, some were clumpy, some were hard to cut, and some burned when they touched it. The color was different, so it was hard to differentiate the effects the stings had. Mary stood there looking at nothing, meaning she was looking at her runes.
'Got nothing, maybe the other got something.'
"Guys, did your ge–"
"WHAT THE F_CK!"
Mary's voice loud and clear, meaning she got something, it seems. And how it sounded, she didn't get anything good. Spark formed around her legs, and later a small spider appeared, it was shorter than the spider that attacked them. It was white and had blue spots.
'So she killed one of the blue spotted spiders. and here I thought Adam murder them all of them.'
"Good gain, Mary?"
Mary turned to Lesser and walked up to him and took his arm, and the energy of something moving to him happened.
"Look at it.
And use this to make me something, ok."
