After the trio finished eating, they went back into their "working" mode.

On this side, Mrs Willis met the wives of her husband's cousins along the road that headed straight to her farm. After meeting each other on the road, they walked to Mrs Willis's farm together while chatting. Through their chats, she got to know their husbands were having lunch together today.
By the time the ladies arrived on the farm, they saw their husbands resting under the big cotton tree at the farm's periphery. Drinking water from a big five-star gallon. And showcasing their chests In there name of catching cool air.
Mrs Willis and her group froze when they each saw their husband's bare chest exposed. After they came to themselves, they shyly turned their faces away. If not because of their beautiful dark skin tone, I would've said their faces turn blood red, but uh~ uh, I can't. So... their faces turned a shade darker from shyness.
Patricia was the first to rush to her husband, Leo, grabbed his shirt, and dressed him properly in a flash. And 'Mistakenly' squeezed his muscular stomach.
Mrs Willis was the next person to recover and rushed to her husband to dress him properly. While buttoning his shirt, her five fingers repeatedly grazed his chest and his washboard stomach. It was a mistake. Ahem!
Deborah and Chloe also came to their senses and rushed to their husbands to properly dress them. But, I repeat, but! My big~big eyes saw Deborah giving Thomas, her husband, the "Adam and Eve" eyes.

After all the dressing commotion, they began to eat their lunch. They first ate Mrs Willis's food, followed by Patricia's, then Deborah's, then, last but not the least, Chloe's food.
Because the four women cooked different types of soup, they couldn't combine the food. Deborah cooked fried okra soup, Mrs Willis cooked red oil cassava leaves soup, Patricia cooked peanut butter pepper soup, and Chloe cooked red oil palaver sauce.
After eating lunch, everyone sat under the cotton tree to digest the food.
"Why haven't I seen the boys since we arrived?" Chloe asked her husband.
"They're on our farm with their brothers. That's where they want to have their lunch." He replied.
After resting for a while, the men left to continue their work. Leaving only the ladies under the cotton tree.
Chloe then turned to the others.
" I heard that Eric's wife gave birth to a girl, but clearly, her mother-in-law is not happy about it."
"Yeah, I heard. We that want girls, we don't have them. Instead, we have 'coconut heads' that dry mouths from talking all day long."
Deborah replied.
"However, Oldma Rebecca is really not fit to be human. See how Irene, just five years old. She already knows how to break firewood."

You know what Yassah did? Oh ho.., let me tell you." Chloe said. Setting her gossiping mode.
"She went to her maternal home and brought her mother to deal with her mother-in-law. You know Yassah ma already la mamie pepper!" Chloe said, shaking her body while saying the "mamie pepper" part.
"Her Ma 'scrubbed' her(Yassah) mother-in-law heels for three good days. Fighting even came from there. Since that day! oldma Evelyn never shows her granddaughter a sour face again." She continued in her gossiping mode.
