On Mr and Mrs Willis' farm, 8:45 AM
After the couple arrived at the damaged side of the farm, Mr Willis went into the jungle behind it to cut down stakes to repair the fence.
Mrs Willis also began her work. She first cleared an area, spread the spare lapper she brought, and sat her son down on it. Then she began picking the rice from the ground,
She separated the rice she picked from the ground into four portions: the rice that wasn't damaged, the rice that was partly damaged, the rice heads that had fallen to the ground, and the fully damaged rice.
She worked for almost fifteen minutes before her husband returned to the farm. He was towing twelve freshly cut stakes on his right shoulder. After he entered the farm, he dropped the stakes to the ground and went back into the forest for the remaining ones.
When he returned from his second trip, he was towing another twelve stakes together with some palm tree branches. He dropped them on the first pile of stakes and got to work.
First, he firmly drove eight stakes, two wrists thick and one point seven meters long, into the ground, spaced one finger width apart, as poles. Afterwards, he then laid smaller and slender stakes, one wrist thick and almost two metres long, horizontally on the poles. Layer by layer, while he secured them using strong ropes. After that, he laid the palm branches on the stakes and secured them with ropes.
By the time he was done with the process, it was after twelve. He stood up and looked at the completed fence, now seamlessly and firmly connected. He then tied the remaining stakes and put them on his shoulder, and went around the farm to fix any damaged areas.
Mrs Willis also stood up and stretched her back from all the bending to relieve it. Then she turned to look at her son again. But what she saw lit up her face.
Baby Asher was walking towards the pile of rice that wasn't damaged, with two stalks of rice in his hands. At first, he fell after taking two to three steps, but after that, his steps became steady.
After he reached the pile, he dropped the rice stalks and walked back for more. After walking back and forth for two rounds, he became fluent and started running.
At first, she was happily watching him learning how to walk, almost cheering him on, but she stopped herself. Afraid that he would get startled and stop walking altogether, after all, there are examples of that in the village.
But when she saw him running, after just learning how to walk, he heart travelled straight in her throat. Afraid he'd fall, after all, there are tree stumps on the farm. She tried her best to stay calm and walked normally towards him while humming softly.
Hearing his mommy humming, baby Asher stopped running and turned to her. His eyes shining with joy. But when he saw her walking towards him, he picked up his speed again and ran to her, laughing along the way.
When Mrs Willis saw her son running to her, she rushed to him and picked him up midway. After she lifted her son, she spun around with him and kissed his cheeks while she praised him.
"Oh, oh, my baby can walk now. My tiny weeny butterfly can fly now oh. Baby leh mommy dance for you," she said—joy radiating from every pore in her body.
Then she put him on the ground and started dancing around him happily. Baby Asher also joined her, dancing happily too.
After the celebrity danced, she picked him up and headed to the hut. While chatting with him.
"Ley groundhog meat I'm cooking today, I will give you ley hay,"
Note: "ley" means "the"
"Hay" means "head"
After they arrived, Mrs Willis filled a big cup with drinking water for both of them to drink. After they finished drinking, then, with baby Asher in tow, she headed to the vegetable farm to pick her ingredients, then returned to the hut. After she returned, she walked straight to the pile of dead groundhogs in the corner of the hut and picked out three fat ones.
Then, with satisfaction, she headed to the makeshift kitchen behind the hut. When she entered the kitchen, she sat baby Asher in his small chair, took his little bowl, put a few young cucumbers in it, and placed the bowl on his lap. And began her cooking.

On the Hopeson's family farm, 12:49
After Mr Willis finished fixing all the damaged areas on his farm, he went to help his cousins on theirs. With more hands, they quickly repaired the farm fence.
On Chloe's and her sisters-in-law's side, they were almost done picking the rice from the ground. they continued working until half an hour later, before they were finally done. They then headed to the farm hut together.
"Joseph, you and Faith behaved well today. For that, I will give your two meat hay each."
Chloe said as they were heading to the hut.
When they arrived at their hut, the three sisters-in-law rested for five minutes and began preparing their lunch, using some of the groundhogs meat as the main ingredient.

On Shane and his brothers side, 2:00 pm
While patrolling the farm, they saw a group of monkeys eating rice and playing catch with the scarecrow heads at the end of the farm. They rushed to the area, quickly chased them away, and fixed the damage the monkey had caused. Thankfully, the damage was manageable since the monkeys were focusing on the scarecrows.
After that episode, they patrolled for another round and then headed to the hut.

At the hut, 3:54
When Shane and his group arrived, everybody was sitting in the hut eating the food Mrs Willis brought for them.
"I kept your group's portion in the kitchen."
Patricia said. And continue eating.
After they finished eating, the three women headed to the kitchen to dish out the food they had cooked. After they finished sharing the food, everybody ate and headed back to the farm.

Mr and Mrs Willis's farm; 4:44 pm.
The family of three had already had lunch and were now helping Mrs Willis pick the rice from the ground. By the time they were done picking and packing the rice in four different bags, it was after six.
So they headed to the hut, kept the four bags, and headed to the Hopeson's farm.
After the two families gathered, they headed to the village.
