Jay's POV
Keifer and I were on our private plane, heading somewhere, though I had no idea where.
Keifer said it was a surprise.
I rested my head on his shoulder. I couldn't believe today was our first wedding anniversary.
I hadn't wished him yet because I had a surprise planned for him.
Soon, we landed somewhere, but all I could see around us was the ocean.
"Keif, where are we, baby?" I asked.
"Wait," he said.
Then a beautiful yacht arrived. I gasped. It was so pretty.
"Come," he said, offering me his hand.
I got on the yacht and enjoyed the view. It took us about forty-five minutes to reach our destination.
"Babe, we're here," Keifer said.
I looked around.
We were on an island.
"Babe, did you rent this entire island?" I asked.
He shook his head.
"I bought the whole island," he said.
My eyes widened.
"You what? But why?" I asked.
He just shrugged.
"Don't know," he said.
We both entered the villa. I suddenly felt tired and dizzy.
"Babe, let's rest," I said.
He nodded, and we went to our room.
We changed our clothes, lay down, and took a nice nap.
I woke up before him so I could decorate the beach area.
Thank God I had brought all the decorations with me.
I gently moved his arm off me and went outside to start preparing everything.
It took me an hour to finish decorating, but it was worth it.
I went back inside and saw Keifer coming downstairs, rubbing his eyes.
"Baby," he said, wrapping his arms around me.
"Where did you go? Mmm..." he mumbled, resting his head on my shoulder.
He was still sleepy.
I sat on the couch and made him sit beside me. He rested his head on my shoulder and wrapped an arm around my waist.
The same thing had happened one year ago.
Maybe even around the same time, when I was going to his house for the first time.
But thank God he's okay now.
"Babe, are you hungry?" I asked.
He opened his eyes and kissed my cheek.
"Let me make dinner for you," he said, standing up.
"No, baby. I've already prepared dinner," I said.
"Go upstairs and wear something formal."
He looked confused.
"Just go," I said, pushing him toward the room.
I went to another room and started getting ready as well.
When I came outside, I saw him waiting for me.
"Let's go," I said.
We walked outside, and as soon as he saw the beach, his mouth fell open.
"Happy first wedding anniversary, hubby," I said, wrapping my arms around him.
"Jay... it's our wedding anniversary?" he asked.
I nodded.
I thought he would be happy, but instead, he started crying.
I panicked.
"What happened?" I asked.
He held my hands.
"Sorry... I'm so sorry. I forgot our first wedding anniversary. I'm so sorry. I should've gotten you a gift. I should've planned a dinner date for us," he said.
I wiped his tears and hugged him.
"No. It's not only your responsibility to surprise me. It's mine too. And I know why you forgot. It's okay for me. Now stop crying and let's celebrate our first wedding anniversary," I said.
He smiled and nodded.
We cut the cake and fed each other.
Then suddenly, Keifer knelt down.
My mouth fell open.
He took out a ring box from his pocket.
"Jasper Jean Mairno, thank you for always staying with me. Thank you so much for loving me and supporting me. I love you so much, Jay," he said.
My tears started falling freely.
I offered him my hand, and he slid the ring onto my finger.
I looked at him, and we slowly leaned closer until our lips met.
"Since it's our first wedding anniversary, let's celebrate our wedding night too," he said.
He scooped me into his arms, and I chuckled as he carried me toward the room.
But suddenly, I started feeling dizzy again.
I held my head.
"Jay, babe, are you okay?" Keifer asked.
"Keifer, I want to tell you something," I said.
He sat beside me and nodded.
"For the past two months, I've been feeling dizzy, and sometimes I vomit too. It feels like pregnancy symptoms," I said.
His eyes widened.
"Are you serious? We should check," he said.
"Give me my purse. I bought a pregnancy test a few days ago, but I didn't use it because I was busy," I said.
He handed me my bag, and I took out the pregnancy test.
"Do you need help?" he asked.
I shook my head and went into the bathroom.

Keifer's POV
I waited nervously for Jay to come out.
I felt so scared.
Were we ready for this?
Suddenly, I heard Jay scream.
I immediately stood up and rushed to the door.
"Jay, are you okay?" I asked in a panicked voice.
She opened the door.
She was crying.
"Babe, what happened?" I asked.
She showed me the test.
Two red lines.
Positive.
"We're going to be parents!" she shouted happily.
My tears started falling.
Oh my God.
I was going to be a dad.
I spun her around.
"Yesss! You gave me the best wedding gift ever!" I said.
We both laughed and cried.
"I can't believe it," she said, looking at the test again.
"We're leaving tomorrow. We have to go to the hospital for a check-up," I said.
She nodded.
We looked at each other and started laughing.
I am so happy.
