Once Asuna figured out the reasoning behind it, she was both shocked and incredibly excited. This was a completely unexpected windfall. And that God Miach was truly generous.
*To just teach something like this so freely... does he really want Ren Isana to learn everything?* Asuna thought to herself as she got to work, joining the others in bottling all the freshly brewed potions.
Watching Ren Isana, Miach couldn't help but sigh in admiration. This was the most absurdly talented human he had ever seen. The boy was like a sponge, frantically absorbing every single piece of knowledge he explained.
In just a short amount of time, Ren Isana had completely mastered everything he had been taught. Looking at him, Miach couldn't help but extend an invitation. "If you're ever in Orario in the future, you can come over to my place anytime. I'll teach you even more."
As long as Ren Isana was willing to learn, Miach was willing to hold nothing back and pass on all his knowledge.
Ren Isana's eyes lit up at the offer. He quickly agreed, "Alright, I'll definitely drop by when I have the time."
Miach nodded. He looked at the bustling crowd of students and said, "In that case, I'll be taking my leave. I won't disturb you all any longer."
Figuring that was enough for today, Miach glanced at Naaza, signaling her to follow, and the two of them departed. Ren Isana walked them to the door, watching them leave before heading back inside to join the busy production line.
"Class Rep, it looks like we don't have enough bottles," someone called out shortly after Ren Isana returned.
Glancing at the remaining liquid, Ren Isana replied, "Go back and grab the water canteens you brought. If it still doesn't fit, just fill your canteens and drink it like juice."
The crowd was speechless. *Drink it like juice?* Still, seeing that there wasn't too much left, no one objected. If everyone took a little, they would basically clear it out.
Everyone sprang into action. Sora, in particular, took full advantage of her Spatial Backpack. She brought out a literal bucket, and once everyone else had filled their containers, she dumped all the remaining orange-flavored Red Potions right into it.
She was clearly planning to pack it all away. The crowd didn't know whether to laugh or cry at her shameless operation, but no one stopped her. After all, there was still a lot left and nowhere else to store it.
"Is the magic that God Miach taught you really that powerful? You managed to process all those herbs so quickly," Asuna said, walking up to Ren Isana with a sigh of amazement.
Ren Isana nodded. "For a Pharmacist, this is revolutionary magic. If we take this back to our world, it'll become an absolute must-have skill for the profession."
It was safe to say that if Ren Isana brought this knowledge back and handed it over, trading it for a few more Spatial Rings wouldn't be out of the question. This was the equivalent of strapping a rocket engine onto the Pharmacist profession.
As long as the herb supply could keep up, the prices of various potions would plummet. They could literally be consumed like everyday beverages. Beyond that... these medicines could be sold to other worlds.
They could just launch a massive economic dumping campaign. After all, there were quite a few Dimensional Rifts connected to their world. If they could truly mass-produce potions at this speed...
The value of these three spells to their world was unimaginably high. Either way, Ren Isana was feeling pretty damn good right now.
Listening to his explanation, Asuna nodded in agreement. "If that happens, ordinary adventurers will be blessed too."
If the price of medicine dropped, more people would be willing to venture out and take risks. It would be a net positive for the entire world.
Why did so many people refuse to become adventurers? Wasn't it because potions were too expensive? Sometimes the money earned on a trip wasn't even enough to cover the healing items used. Because of that, many preferred to just work normal jobs.
The two chatted for a while before walking outside. Ren Isana went to check on the classmates who were still practicing [Perception Magic]. They basically had no issues left; all they needed to do was spend the afternoon familiarizing themselves with the spell.
Once they did, they would have completely mastered it. Satisfied with their progress, Ren Isana realized they wouldn't be short on manpower for this Dungeon expedition after all.
During lunch, Ais and Riveria walked over to their table. The moment Ais sat down, she eagerly asked, "Can I join your Dungeon expedition this time?"
Ren Isana looked at her in surprise. "Aren't you staying behind to keep studying? Besides, there's no need for you to follow us, right? Isn't the Loki Familia going on an expedition soon?"
*Is this girl treating herself as a member of the Hestia Familia now? Wherever we go, she goes?* Ren Isana was thoroughly confused.
"You're heading to the 27th Floor, right? I want to go too, so please take me with you. The Loki Familia doesn't need me for now!" Ais was completely serious. Since she had decided to study at the Hestia Familia, she naturally wasn't going to worry about the Loki Familia's affairs for the time being.
Furthermore, Riveria fully supported this decision. Following Ren Isana's group into the Dungeon might provide Ais with a completely different kind of experience.
There was another reason, too. Ren Isana's group was hunting the 27th Floor Boss. Ais needed that exact Excelia and those high-level feats. She might even be able to use this opportunity to break through and level up.
Ren Isana looked at Ais, then turned to Riveria. "Are you planning to come along too, Riveria-san? Or is it just Ais?"
Riveria smiled gently. "I won't be joining you. This time, it will just be Ais and Lefiya."
She had no intention of going down into the Dungeon. In fact, she didn't even plan on participating in her own Familia's upcoming expedition. She wanted to stay behind and thoroughly research the magic from this alternate world.
If Ren Isana could learn her magic, could she teach her magic to the others? After coming into contact with the magic system of Ren Isana's world, this new idea had taken root in her mind.
"If it's just the two of you, that's fine. We operate in four-man squads, and we happen to have two parties with an extra person. How about you two form a squad with them?" Since Ais wanted to tag along, Ren Isana saw no reason to refuse.
It worked out perfectly. Two of the class parties had five members. Pulling one person from each to form a new four-man squad with Ais and Lefiya was an easy fix.
Ais's eyes flashed with delight. As long as Ren Isana agreed, she was happy. "I'll follow your arrangements!" she quickly replied.
She just wanted to go with them. The specifics were up to Ren Isana; whatever he said, she would do.
"Go get ready this afternoon. Pack whatever you need for the expedition," Ren Isana told Ais and Lefiya.
Since they were tagging along, Ren Isana wasn't going to prepare their supplies for them. They had to handle their own gear. To him, this was basically just gaining two free combatants.
The two girls nodded eagerly. Now that they had permission, they would start packing immediately and depart with the group tomorrow morning.
With the matter settled, Ren Isana lowered his head and focused on his food.
That afternoon, everyone got busy. They started packing up all the supplies they would need for the trip.
Ais and Lefiya also made their preparations, though they didn't actually have much to pack—just some a change of clothes. They didn't even need to return to the Loki Familia estate for that, as they had brought clothes with them.
While packing, the two girls watched in awe as Ren Isana and the students continuously stuffed an impossible amount of supplies into tiny backpacks.
An entire warehouse worth of goods was swallowed up by just a few bags. Ren Isana, in particular, simply waved his hand, and massive piles of potions vanished into thin air.
The members of the Loki Familia were absolutely stunned. *Good heavens, what are those things? How can they hold so much?*
"Your backpacks...?" Riveria's eyes widened. This was the first time she had noticed how bizarre their equipment was. Spatial equipment? With items like that, how effortless would an expedition be?
"Spatial Backpacks. They're products from our world. If you're interested, you can buy some when you visit our world later. Or you could ask Natsuki-sensei if she has any to spare—she is the Space Witch, after all," Ren Isana explained casually without stopping his work.
Riveria nodded thoughtfully. She definitely needed to ask about that. If their world could get its hands on items like these, they would become an absolute necessity for every Familia!
For people like them who frequently went on deep-floor expeditions, it was far too important. However, she also understood that Ren Isana's group only had a few Spatial Backpacks on hand and definitely wouldn't sell them, so she refrained from asking to buy one now.
"Class Rep, can you repair armor? Or do we need to go out and find someone to fix it?" Kumo suddenly ran over and asked while Ren Isana was organizing supplies.
She had been bitten by a Hellhound last time, leaving a puncture hole in her arm guard, so she wanted to get it fixed. Aside from her, almost everyone's gear had some signs of wear and tear.
"No need to go out. Bring any damaged armor to me, I'll handle it," Ren Isana said, walking out of the storage room. There was no need to waste money hiring someone when he could easily fix it himself.
Besides, he knew exactly what condition everyone's armor was in.
Hearing this, Kumo quickly followed him. Ren Isana also sent a message through their communication marks, telling anyone who needed armor repairs to bring their gear over.
Ren Isana spent the entire afternoon handling these trivial matters around the Familia estate. When night fell, everyone went to bed early, planning to wake up at the crack of dawn to set off.
The night passed quietly.
The next morning, the group woke up bright and early. After eating breakfast together, everyone donned their gear and gathered to depart.
"Ais, Lefiya, let me place a mark on you two as well. You can use it to communicate while we're in the Dungeon," Ren Isana said, giving them a brief explanation of the spell.
Hearing his explanation, the two girls extended their hands, allowing Ren Isana to apply the mark. They had seen this magic used frequently around the estate; it was how the Hestia Familia communicated.
Without hesitation, Ren Isana stamped the Hestia Familia emblem onto them.
Coincidentally, Loki and Riveria, who had come over to see them off, witnessed this exact moment.
Loki stood there, utterly dumbfounded. Ais was a member of her Loki Familia, right? Yet here she was, being branded with the Hestia Familia's emblem.
It gave her the distinct, sickening feeling of being NTR'd. In her eyes, Ren Isana stamping the Hestia Familia emblem onto Ais was no different than him writing a degenerate tally mark right on Ais and Lefiya's thighs.
"You bastard, what the hell are you doing?!" Loki exploded, her eyes blazing with fury. She felt like she was wearing a massive green hat. Her people were being branded with another Familia's crest?!
Did he think she had no pride?! In that moment, Loki was so furious she could have died. She wanted to storm over and interrogate Ren Isana on exactly what his ulterior motives were.
Just as she was about to charge forward, Riveria grabbed her and sighed in exasperation. "That's their communication magic. It's used for talking to each other."
*What a headache. What is this idiot misunderstanding now?* Riveria felt incredibly helpless. She knew how Ren Isana's group communicated; it was all done through those marks.
"But that's the Hestia Familia's emblem! Even if it has to be a crest, it should be the Loki Familia's! They are still members of the Loki Familia!!" Loki was still fuming.
"So what? It's just our internal comms!" Ren Isana turned to look at Loki, his face full of exasperation. Why was she overreacting so much?
"So what?! If other people see that mark on Ais's hand, won't they think she converted?!" Loki glared at the bastard.
He was the one who put that mark on Ais's... hand! Her precious Ais was no longer pure! The more Loki thought about it, the more she felt Ren Isana deserved to die.
"It's fine. If it's not activated, no one can see it. Plus, if it's not used, it naturally fades away in seven or eight days," Ren Isana chuckled. So *that* was what she cared about. How amusing.
But after a moment's thought, Ren Isana understood. In her eyes, he had basically cucked her. The corners of his mouth curled up slightly. *This is just too perfect!*
"Dammit!! Even so, you shouldn't use the Hestia Familia's emblem! Couldn't you just use my Loki Familia's crest?!" Loki's expression softened slightly after hearing his explanation, but she was still incredibly displeased.
Mainly because it was the Hestia Familia's emblem. That was her mortal enemy! How could she not be mad?
"Actually, this is also our school's emblem!" Asuna chimed in to clarify. It wasn't just the Hestia Familia's crest; it doubled as their school badge.
"Exactly. If you think of it that way, it won't hurt as much," Ren Isana agreed, validating Asuna's point. Changing the perspective made it much easier to swallow.
"I suppose that makes sense!" Loki immediately felt much better. As long as it wasn't strictly the Hestia Familia's emblem, it was fine. In that case, she would just pretend Ais had enrolled in Ren Isana's school.
However, when Loki looked up and saw the massive Familia emblem hanging over the Hestia estate, her heart still ached. She just couldn't accept it!!
*Waaah!* Loki almost burst into tears. Her precious Ais had been branded by someone else! She wasn't pure anymore! The thought alone made Loki want to scream.
Right at that moment, Hestia walked out. She rubbed her sleepy eyes and looked at Ren Isana's group. "Are you guys heading out? Wait for me, I'll be right there!!"
She had no idea what had just happened, but seeing Loki looking so miserable instantly put Hestia in a fantastic mood. *Good things are happening right after waking up?*
Loki's eyes flashed with murderous intent the moment she saw Hestia. Everything about the other goddess pissed her off. She immediately sneered, "You didn't even know what time your own Familia was departing, you stupid Dwarf! You're a total failure of a patron deity. Why don't you all just give up and join the Loki Familia?"
Hearing this, Hestia instantly flared up. But she didn't want to get into a screaming match right now; she still had to see Ren Isana and the others off to the Dungeon. She had merely slept in a little bit—it wasn't that she didn't know when they were leaving!
"Hmph! I didn't forget anything! You just worry about yourself, Ironing Board, before your entire Familia runs away from you!" Unwilling to be outdone, Hestia fired back with her sharp wit and immediately bolted, leaving Loki choking on her rage.
*Her Ais would never run away!!*
