Chapter 115 - What Does It Mean to Be a One-Man Factory?

Asuna emerged from Miach's Workshop, leading the others to split up and purchase all the necessary supplies for the following day.

Watching Asuna leave, Miach couldn't help but turn to Naaza. "Go find a few carriages and get the herbs ready at the warehouse. We'll deliver them to the Hestia Familia ourselves."

Hearing her god's words, Naaza nodded. Disbelief still lingered in her eyes; she hadn't expected the Hestia Familia to place such a massive order with them.

Taking a deep breath, she made up her mind. They absolutely had to deliver the highest quality herbs this time. Since the Hestia Familia was willing to give them such a large order, they couldn't afford to drop the ball.

If they could secure a steady stream of orders from the Hestia Familia, it wouldn't be long before the Miach Familia could rise again. In that moment, Naaza saw hope.

She immediately went out to hire a few cargo carriages. After taking inventory of all the herbs with Miach, they set off together to deliver the goods to the Hestia Familia.

As they headed toward the Hestia Familia, they noticed quite a few other carriages on the road. These carts were loaded with various supplies, all heading in the same direction.

They also spotted members of the Hestia Familia. The girl with long black hair was the one who had accompanied Asuna earlier. Naaza recalled the others calling her Yukino.

Yukino Yukinoshita also noticed Naaza and Miach. She intentionally stopped and walked over to them. "Lord Miach, Naaza, I am Yukino Yukinoshita of the Hestia Familia."

She introduced herself right away. Hearing her words, the two nodded. Naaza asked curiously, "May I call you Yukino? Are you guys on a shopping spree? Are you preparing to enter the Dungeon?"

What Naaza was most curious about was why their supplies weren't standard rations. Instead, they had fresh vegetables and the like. Wouldn't that be difficult to carry? After all, anyone else going down into the Dungeon would bring dry rations.

Yet, they had purchased so many fresh ingredients and meats. Were these people planning to make their own rations?

"Yes, we depart tomorrow," Yukino Yukinoshita didn't hide it, nodding in acknowledgment. This only made Naaza even more confused.

However, she didn't pry. After all, it was their own business. After exchanging a few words with Yukino Yukinoshita, she continued moving with the convoy. Before long, everyone arrived at the Hestia Familia's estate.

People were already busy at work. The classmates who had stayed behind were helping unload the cargo, moving the various ingredients and supplies into a warehouse.

Ren Isana, who had just finished filling all the water containers, was a bit surprised to see Miach arrive. He quickly walked over and asked, "Lord Miach, Naaza, what brings you here?"

Hearing Ren Isana's words, Miach smiled and said, "I came to thank you. Your order this time earned us quite a bit. I also wanted to see if you needed any help. You're planning to brew the potions yourself, right? How about I lend a hand?"

He directly volunteered to help Ren Isana brew the potions, wanting to see just how much the boy had learned from his grimoire.

Naaza remained silent. Whatever Miach said, she would do. Whether he wanted to help or do something else, she would just follow along. Besides, Ren Isana had given them such a massive order; what was wrong with helping out?

Ren Isana hadn't expected Miach to show up at his door to help. He also realized that the god had likely figured out what kind of potions he was going to brew. With that in mind, he didn't refuse.

"If it's not too much trouble, I'd appreciate it," Ren Isana agreed directly. With these two helping, his brewing speed would be much faster.

Seeing Ren Isana agree, Miach nodded, then couldn't help but ask, "Is Hestia around? I should go say hello!"

He and Hestia were old friends; he was one of her few divine companions. Since he was here, it was only natural to say hello.

In response to Miach's question, Ren Isana pointed to where Hestia was. "She's inside reading. Please, go right ahead, Lord Miach!"

Hearing this, Miach nodded. Without hesitation, he walked over. Meanwhile, Ren Isana called over a few boys to start moving the herbs Miach and Naaza had delivered into a prepared room.

"What do you need me to do next?" Naaza asked immediately after glancing at the departing Miach. These herbs needed to be processed, right?

Ren Isana glanced at Naaza and her prosthetic arm. He didn't stand on ceremony and directly assigned her a task, asking her to help process some of the herbs. She was a Pharmacist, after all.

It was highly appropriate to leave some tasks to her. After listening to the assignment, Naaza couldn't help but ask, "All of them? Or just a portion?"

Ren Isana was momentarily speechless. He quickly explained, "Just half is fine. I'll handle the rest myself later."

Since she was willing to help, Ren Isana couldn't possibly work her like a pack mule. Besides, there was no need to process everything, as he planned to carry some raw materials with him.

"Alright!" Hearing Ren Isana say this, Naaza didn't hesitate and got straight to work. Seeing this, Ren Isana called a few classmates over to help, instructing them to follow Naaza and assist with processing the herbs.

Watching Naaza get to work, Ren Isana recalled some things about her. She had once developed an elixir capable of restoring both stamina and mental energy.

*I should ask her about that later,* he thought. After all, that kind of potion would be incredibly useful for him and his classmates. With his mind made up, Ren Isana also got to work.

Miach went to greet Hestia, chatted for a while, and then came out to help. Seeing Naaza and Ren Isana processing the herbs, Miach walked over to Ren Isana, greeted him, and pitched in.

Having the God of Medicine as an assistant was truly an honor. As they worked, Miach began discussing various pharmaceutical concepts with Ren Isana, though in reality, the god was testing him.

Ren Isana easily answered the series of questions Miach posed, allowing the god to understand exactly what level the boy was currently at.

"Truly remarkable. Have you already thoroughly digested the knowledge inside in such a short time?" Miach couldn't help but praise, gaining a profound understanding of Ren Isana's talent.

"That's all thanks to your book. Many things were written in great detail, and combined with my rather good learning talent, I was able to master it in such a short time," Ren Isana replied somewhat modestly.

Hearing this, Miach smiled. He knew the contents of that book perfectly well—didn't he write it himself?

Without a certain level of talent, it was impossible to learn.

He didn't press further on the matter. Instead, he asked Ren Isana about medical knowledge from another world, which he was quite curious about.

In the herb combinations Ren Isana had come up with, he saw a completely different methodology, so he wanted to consult him about it.

Ren Isana didn't hide anything in response to Miach's inquiries, sharing some of his medical knowledge with this generous god. The two chatted casually as they brewed potions.

At the same time, Miach occasionally taught Ren Isana some methods for quickly processing herbs, even mentioning that it would actually be faster to process them using magic.

Unfortunately, he couldn't use his Divine Power, otherwise he would have demonstrated it on the spot. Listening to Miach's words, Ren Isana asked curiously, "Could you tell me how that magic works?"

"Of course, no problem!" Hearing Ren Isana ask, Miach didn't hold back, explaining the little magical tricks used to process herbs. It would be a good thing if Ren Isana could actually master them.

In fact, he had explained it to Naaza before, but for the people of this world, when it came to magic, you either had it or you didn't. Although Naaza had talent as a Pharmacist, she lacked the magical aptitude for this.

All her talent was invested in archery, and... now even that talent was useless. Her past experiences had left her with psychological trauma regarding Dungeon monsters.

Listening to Miach's explanation, Ren Isana pondered for a moment before grasping the concept. He raised his hand, manifesting a Magic Circle, and slowly said, "The magic of our world is a bit different from this world's. As long as you know the logic, you can realize it through a Magic Circle."

After a casual explanation, Ren Isana began attempting to use this newly tinkered magic to process the herbs. Under his manipulation, the essence of a pile of herbs was extracted on the spot.

Miach stared blankly at this scene. Naaza was also drawn over by Ren Isana's actions, completely dumbfounded.

*He actually learned it?* Miach had only explained it once, yet Ren Isana had completely mastered it. Wasn't this a bit too absurd?

"Leo, go have someone find a few clean wooden barrels. Get as many barrels as there are types of herbs," Ren Isana called out to Leo while controlling the magic.

Hearing Ren Isana's words, Leo hurriedly ran out, heading to the kitchen to get people to prepare them.

Although Miach was shocked, he quickly recovered. The corners of his mouth curled up slightly as he praised, "Truly impressive. I didn't expect you to actually master it!"

Now, Miach was even more interested in Ren Isana. Perhaps he could pass on all his medical skills to him? If Ren Isana could learn it all, he could definitely help more people, right?

He didn't want to miss out on someone with such incredible talent. Although it was impossible to have the other party join his Familia, passing on his medical knowledge was perfectly fine.

The techniques that could only be performed using Divine Power, Ren Isana could replicate with magic just by listening to his descriptions. Furthermore, it seemed this kind of magic could be taught to others.

The more he thought about it, the more tempted he became. Miach made a decision on the spot. Looking at Ren Isana, he slowly said, "How about I continue teaching you other things next? Let's see if you can realize them using magic."

Miach taking the initiative to offer this took Ren Isana by surprise. However, he didn't agree rashly, instead asking, "Are there any conditions?"

*There has to be some sort of catch, right?* He couldn't possibly just teach him everything simply because he saw his talent.

"It's not really a condition. I just hope that one day in the future, you can pass on the pharmacological knowledge you've learned, allowing more people to learn it and help even more people," Miach chuckled as he voiced his thoughts.

Hearing Miach's words, Ren Isana immediately felt relieved. Thinking of Miach's divine status, this was just the kind of person he was—a benevolent god.

In the Heavens, he was the God of Medicine, and he disliked conflict. He even enjoyed providing crucial healing and intelligence assistance to others, and he would never abandon his Familia members when they faced a crisis.

He would even go so far as to lower his status as a god to beg other Familias for help. Although his Divine Power was sealed, he was still practicing his divine duties. *God loves the world?* You could certainly see that in Miach.

"If that's the case, no problem!" Having thought everything through, Ren Isana agreed. Passing on this knowledge wasn't a particularly difficult task.

Seeing Ren Isana agree, the smile on Miach's face grew even brighter. Over on the side, Naaza fell silent upon hearing the conversation between her god and Ren Isana.

*He's still like this, a hopelessly good-natured god.* Sighing, Naaza said nothing. If Miach wasn't like this, she might have been abandoned long ago.

After all, if it weren't for her... the Familia wouldn't have ended up like this, with only her and Miach left. He had even fallen into massive debt because of her.

Leo quickly brought over the barrels Ren Isana had requested. Seeing this, Ren Isana immediately poured all the medicinal essence extracted by magic into them.

Furthermore, Ren Isana changed his plan. He directly used magic to process all the purchased herbs. Under Miach's guidance, Ren Isana gradually began to master the other two techniques he taught.

Extraction, fusion, separation—these three abilities, which Miach could only perform using Divine Power, were effortlessly executed by Ren Isana using magic.

Miach explained the logic behind these three to Ren Isana once, and his mind automatically calculated the method of use, allowing him to master them with ease.

Moreover, these three spells weren't particularly high-level. If one were to calculate carefully, they were at most Intermediate Magic.

However, these three spells were incredibly useful for a Pharmacist. Now, Ren Isana could even brew potions in mid-air. Because of this, Ren Isana alone could finish brewing potions in a single day that would normally take several days to complete.

When Asuna and the others all returned, they smelled the medicinal fragrance permeating the Hestia Familia estate. This left Asuna a bit puzzled, because this time the medicinal scent was orange-flavored? And apple-flavored?

*Good grief, what new thing is Ren Isana making now? New flavored potions?* Asuna didn't even know how to complain anymore, but Sora's eyes were sparkling.

"Yay, it's orange-flavored potions!" She absolutely loved it. She had previously told Ren Isana that she wanted orange-flavored potions, but he had ruthlessly rejected her. She hadn't expected him to actually make them for her now. How could she not be happy?

She immediately hurried over to where Ren Isana and the others were. When they arrived, they found that the classmates were all helping out, bottling barrels upon barrels of freshly produced potions.

Asuna was dumbfounded when she saw those potions. She looked at everything inside in disbelief and asked, "They're all processed?"

Where were the herbs? There were only barrels of potions ready to be packaged. Now, the classmates were like workers on an assembly line, continuously packaging those potions.

Asuna's gaze shifted toward Ren Isana, who was currently conversing with Miach. This made her suspect for a moment—had that god used some method to help them?

*There's actually such a good thing? Is this what they call after-sales service?* Just as Asuna's imagination was running wild, Yukino Yukinoshita walked over and said, "Come help. We won't be lacking potions from now on."

Having watched with her own eyes as Ren Isana used the magic Miach had just taught him to brew potions, she was actually a bit dazed herself. Having mastered those few spells, Ren Isana alone was equivalent to a factory. If they went back and taught those spells to others, heaven knew how many people would lose their jobs.

*Sure enough, magic is the true productive force. This is simply too absurd.* Yukino Yukinoshita could already imagine the kind of waves Ren Isana would cause when they returned after mastering such magic. Perhaps the prices of various potions would instantly avalanche?
