Anna wasted no time rushing out of the garden, Ray in step behind her and Nelia ahead of them. Nelia led them through the halls till they got to a massive home office.
"Kai!" Anna screamed, rushing forward.
"Stay back!" A loud voice roared, a strong arm closed around her middle and yanked her back. It was so sudden and strong that she stumbled back. Ray caught her before she could fall.
Lord Cassius stood in front of her, his muscles pulled tight and taut, his eyes blazing as he glared down at her. "Mako must learn." He said.
Kai was on the floor, writhing in pain, his body getting bigger, ripping through his shirt.
"What do you mean learn?!" Anna cried out, vibrating with worry. "He's hurting! What did you do to him!"
"Father please," Nelia clasped her hands together and went down on her knees. "Mako hasn't been home in years. He needs some time to—"
