Cassien sighed, walking back toward Olivia and Aiysha.
"Let's get some food now."
The crowd immediately parted for him. Some stared in disbelief, others whispered amongst themselves while looking between Cassien and the unconscious earth mage still lying face-first in the dirt.
"That's a Nosguard student?"
"No wonder the academy is famous."
"He didn't even use mana…"
The giant finally groaned.
"Ough…"
Cassien glanced over his shoulder.
"You should work on your footwork."
The crowd burst into laughter.
"Shut up!" the giant roared.
Cassien waved him off dismissively before continuing forward.
"Quite weak for someone talking that much."
The giant almost exploded from anger.
Olivia covered her mouth slightly.
"Sometimes I wonder if you intentionally make enemies."
"I do," Cassien answered honestly.
Aiysha looked at him.
"At least he's self-aware."

The three continued deeper into the village.
The further they walked, the more lively Albeit Village became.
