Marcus had summoned ten more units from the banner. He sent a direct order to feed them all to Vegeta. Afterwards, he looked back at his stats.

"How do you feel, Prince of all Saiyans?" Marcus asked, folding his arms in a similair fashion to Vegeta's.

"I feel like I could kill you right now." Vegeta grunted, hiding the amusement founded on his new strength.

"Yeah, yeah. Don't make me send you away like I did Crocodile," Marcus said, grinning with every word that spilled out of his mouth.

"You insolent little…damn it! Stop freezing me in place! Fight me like a man you coward!"

Marcus waved him off and turned back to face the tower in the distance. "Esdeath, can you place your hand over his mouth for me please? I need to speak to the tower."

Esdeath chuckled and nodded. "I have no clue what's going on, but this is quite the entertainment. When are we conquering these worlds? And when am I returning to my own?"

"Let's find out." Alix shrugged, directing her questions to the tower.

[After Acquiring Your Three Equipped Units, You Will Be Transported To The Public Domain At Yout Own Behest]

[Your Units Will Return To Their Worlds If You So Wish It. Though They Will Lose The Strength They Have Acquired Under You]

"That's convenient. And also, the public domain? What's that?" Marcus blinked.

[Yes. The Public Domain. It Is A World Where Various Other Summoners And Their Units Meet Up To Trade, Converse, And Teleport To Conquer Worlds]

"Other summoners!? There are other people just like me!? And what do you mean parallel worlds?"

[These Summoners Originate From An Earth Much Like Yours. Though In Seperate Universes. You Are The First And Only Summoner In Your Own Universe, Though Not Across The Multiverse]

Damn! What the hell are the odds of that!?

"I see." Marcus nodded. "So then, in this public domain is where I can then teleport into the other worlds I'm meant to conquer?"

[Indeed. Are You Ready To Be Transported?"

"Hang on. Summon back Crocodile." Marcus said.

Crocodile spawned back into the void, an enraged look knitting his ink-black brows. "Not another word out of you," Marcus warned. "I'll use you as fuel for Esdeath if you don't tighten up."

Crocodile had, somehow, understood exactly what Marcus had meant. He had quite possibly seen the other units be dragged out of the inventory and fed to both Vegeta and Esdeath. And so, instead of arguing, he swallowed his pride and stepped back. "Tch. Fucking hell, just what are you?"

"A summoner." Marcus smiled and shrugged. "Alright tower, we're ready. Send us to that domain."

[Transporting…]

The four of them began shifting and disintegrating into tiny motes of light. The white void had vanished, and had been replaced by a purple sky the shade of an old bruise. Above them, a iron snake was perpetually slithering into the clouds above.

Is that…is that the snake-way from dragon ball!?

The floor was now made of cobblestone, and everywhere Marcus looked he found a palm tree, benches, and multiple different structures resembling pagodas. To his left, a giant pagoda beheld him with a metallic sign reading, 'WORLD TOWERS.' To his right, the same kind of building stood silently, another metallic sign above its structure reading, 'INFINITE TOWER.'

The path ahead of him led up to snakeway, and the path behind him led to the same ritual circle he had found within his personal domain.

I can summon units here too?

Speaking of units, his were nowhere to be found. Instead, there were only other summoners within the public domain, their conversations filling the world with life that would be found in a bustling market back on Earth.

It was hard to believe that not even a single one of them had actually came from his world, and instead came from parallel universes. None of them had their units with them, it seemed that they were not allowed to be brandished within the public domain.

Marcus made his way to the world tower pagoda, almost bumping into many a summoner here and there. Many of them were dressed lavishly and luxuriously, donning golden armour and capes that were clasped to the shoulder by a brooch.

Marcus wondered where he could find such fine equipment, but he shook off his avaricious thoughts and continued on with his mission.

He climbed a flight of stairs and entered the pagoda. Inside, there were at least ten other summoners who were standing silently. The atmosphere felt eerie and dark. It was like a group of soldiers marching off into a battle they were almost certain they'd die in.

Indeed, most of them even looked like soldiers. There was a man wearing black armour inlaid with niello, parts of it were even chased in gold. He had a black sword strapped to his back, and a dragon helm on his head. He looked like quite the formidable force.

The metallic floor was shaped like a hexagon, and the sickly grey walls had been carved into in order to fit six different pods within them. Marcus watched as three summoners went into each one and vanished into thin air.

This was it. This was the moment the tower had told him about.

"You're new here aren't you?" Came a voice, low enough to feel like it was slithering right in Marcus's ear.

Marcus flung his head around and found a woman flinging her arm over his shoulder and bringing her face dangerously close to his.

"W-who are you?" Marcus stammered, scrambling away from her embrace.

"Aw, come on! Don't be like that. I'm just a simple summoner."

"Yeah, well, everybody here is. But who are you." Marcus added, his eyes now narrowed as he unveiled every one of the woman's features.

She had long brown hair, deep-blue eyes that were followed by a snub nose, thin lips, and freckles that littered her face. She was garbed in a plain white dress that reached past her knees, and the smile she wore was just about as fake as counterfeit goods.

"The names Rachael." She said, stretching out her hand.

Marcus didn't give her the courtesy of a handshake, instead he followed up with another question. "What do you want?"

"Cmon. That's no way to talk to a lady. I merely wanted to know your name and your summoner type. You seem a bit lost, maybe I could help!"

"Help with what?"

"Oh, you know! Help you with a little bit of knowledge, all the good stuff that you'll need before you venture off."

"Isn't that what the towers are for?" Marcus said, furrowing his brows.

"Why yes, but the towers don't tell you everything unless you ask. And they don't experience what we experience."

"And what have you experienced, huh? How about you tell me your summoner type."

"Sure! No problem!" She beamed, revealing an assortment of pearly white teeth. Marcus couldn't help but feel flustered.

"My summoner type is Knight. I can basically summon any knight across all anime."

"I see. Well, I guess I can tell you mine. It's villain."

There was a brief moment of silence. Marcus's words had peeled back Rachael's eyelids, leaving a shocked expression on her once beaming countenance. "W-what? Villain!? That's so broad! What have you summoned so far!?"

"Uhh, well," Marcus paused to think, and then raised both of his hands to count his fingers. "Well there's Esdeath, Crocodile, Vegeta, and I even summoned Garou and Konan and many more Vegeta's and Crocodile's, but I fed them all to my equipped units."

"Esdeath!? So you've already summoned a legendary. The gods are on your side kid. Listen, what do you say I help you conquer your first world?"

"Really? You'd help me do that?"

"Yeah sure! Why not? I did say you looked lost right? Let me help you get to grips with this world of ours. The world of the summoners."

"Sure!" Marcus said without hesitation. Rachael returned a smile and beckoned Marcus to follow her to one of the empty pods. Marcus stepped inside of it, and just as Rachael was about to follow after him, an Iron hand had yanked her back.

"Who dares touch me!?" Rachael roared, whipping herself around to accost the man whose hand had found her shoulder. But, instead of following up her outrage with violent action, she remained frozen in place, an abject look of fear contorting her face.

The iron soldier in black armour had pulled her away from the pod, and was now flaring at her through the black slits in his helm. "Rachael The Tarnisher. I've heard about you ruining and killing enough fresh summoners on their first missions, I won't let you ruin this one." He said, his iron hand now wrapped around her throat.

He turned back to Marcus, and then said, "Go kid. And don't come back until that world is utterly destroyed."
