Chapter 98 - Chapter 98: Throne of the Top — Hecate

Hearing Medea's vow, Jean Stardust was very happy. Without that unsightly hood, Medea, with her slightly flushed cheeks, was cute beyond measure.

Next was simply tidying up the room. Because the agency had regular cleaning services, there wasn't much dust overall, and the furniture was fully equipped, making it the type of place one could move into immediately.

Of course, the price was very high as a trade-off, but since the money came easily, it didn't hurt. Jean Stardust even had plans to buy this house outright.

Although they might only live here for ten or fifteen days, buying a house and settling down was an instinct carved into their DNA, especially for a villa like this one, which was a dream come true.

After thinking it through, Jean Stardust decided to talk to Sakura about using the Matou Family connections to buy this house.

As for why not talk to Rin? It was because the family assets were all in the hands of Kirei Kotomine.

Although Rin possessed the management rights to the ley lines, the Holy Grail was pressing down on them, making them impossible to move. As for the management of Magicians and such, it was complete drudgery; that sort of thing wasn't even fit for a dog.

There were no benefits at all, only burdens. Rin serving as the head of the Tohsaka Family was truly just holding on by a thread.

Inside the house, several Dragon Tooth Warriors were tidying up under Medea's command. Although they lacked intelligence and relied entirely on commands, there was strength in numbers, and the place was soon tidied up.

As for where Medea pulled the dragon teeth from, that remained unknown.

"Come to think of it, did you manage to see which Servant attacked you?" Jean Stardust asked.

"Apologies, master, I was unable to see the true form of that Servant, but that full-body metal armor gave off a feeling very similar to the gods. Additionally, I heard his master refer to him as Rider."

"A Rider? A Rider related to the gods? Achilles? Odysseus?" It seemed the final Servant had finally surfaced. The range of Servants related to gods had narrowed significantly, but Jean Stardust only remembered that Odysseus wore full-body armor. However, there was one point: the popularity of someone who specifically hides their face would definitely not be low, and popularity provided a bonus to strength.

"I do not know. I actually know both of the figures you mentioned, but that armor could shield against detection, and the attack methods were also quite different, so I cannot be certain. Oh, that's right, his master was not a human, but an incomparably exquisite doll. I never expected such technology to still exist in this world."

Speaking of this, Medea sighed with emotion. Originally, she had looked down upon modern Magicians, but this doll exceeded her imagination; it was a great feat that could only be achieved by the gods.

"A woman with orange hair, possessing Mystic Eyes, and perhaps smoking?"

"Yes, do you know her?"

"Touko Aozaki. In terms of talent as a Magician, she is world-class, but precisely because of this talent, she missed the opportunity to become a Magus."

"It seems you are very knowledgeable about her." Medea's gaze sharpened.

"In my world, her story is very famous. Or rather, many stories could not be formed without her."

Seeing Medea's expression, Jean Stardust sighed, but still prepared to explain clearly:

"Medea, I am merely a passerby in this world, and I have a lovely wife waiting for me at home. Therefore, I will not ask you to be anything to me, nor will I use your feelings to do anything."

"So you are not from this world either... Then it won't be long before you leave me just like my teacher did, right?"

"If you are willing, I can take you away. In fact, that is the best way to break free from the shackles of fate. Wait, your teacher is not from this world, and she left? Isn't your teacher Hecate?"

"That is correct. My teacher is none other than the Goddess of Magic, Hecate, the Throne of the Top — Hecate."

Medea reminisced about her teacher, that petite girl with short blue-green hair, wearing a large white hat, who was quiet and reserved.

Perhaps her own preferences for others were merely traits separated from her teacher.

In order to show the beauty of her teacher to Jean Stardust, Medea specifically created a holographic projection.

However, the moment Jean Stardust saw it, they started to get a headache. The girl before them was undoubtedly one of the three pillars of the 'Bal Masqué,' the chief priestess of the Creator God of the Crimson Realm, the Serpent of Ritual.

"Does master know my teacher?" Seeing Jean Stardust's surprised expression, Medea asked.

"I know her, but I have no idea where she is. However, in my world, you might actually be able to obtain relevant information."

After leaving behind several crystals and leaving the remaining questions for Medea to consider, Jean Stardust noted that after a Servant leaves this world, they are very likely to become an independent entity distinct from a Heroic Spirit, but having the main body detach from the Hall of Heroes is not a simple matter.

Although Jean Stardust had asked Ai-chan about this matter, Ai-chan was a living person, so she didn't know much about it either.

Then, Jean Stardust headed straight back to the Tohsaka residence.

During this time, there were no incidents. By the time Jean Stardust walked back to Rin's house as if taking a stroll, the sun had just set.

With some time before dinner, Jean Stardust explained the information they had obtained.

"So, that means Berserker and Caster will not be our enemies, nor will they participate in the Holy Grail War," Rin summarized.

"But I didn't expect there to be two Casters. Come to think of it, that means there are only 6 Servants participating. We account for half of them, so doesn't that mean we're guaranteed to win?" Cú Chulainn said.

"That's not necessarily true. This year's Archer is Gilgamesh."

"Gilgamesh!!!" Illya looked shocked.

Having previously fought a Shadow Servant of Gilgamesh, Illya had developed a huge psychological trauma, not to mention that the current Servant was much more powerful than the Shadow Servant. (Illya had witnessed the difference in Saber and had also felt the strength of Lancer.)

Next, Jean Stardust explained Gilgamesh's abilities to the others, and Illya also added relevant details based on her own battle experience.

"How are we supposed to fight that!!!" Rin let out a wail. The others also became sullen.

"It's not impossible to deal with. Looking at him, his heart and mind are set on the battle with Saber, and King Arthur, wielding the scabbard, might not necessarily lose to him. Therefore, we can try to join forces with Saber to take him down."

Jean Stardust offered their thoughts. At this moment, Jean Stardust did not know what level of attack EA was, so they could only try to think of the highest possible scale. Therefore, the scabbard, avalon, was essential.
