Chapter 139 - New Town

Dante pushed the door, exiting the manor. Missio waved goodbye to the head butler and Lilla. The servants waved back as both royals escaped his vision.

The brothers moved to the garage, passing the beautiful garden. They passed into it and the lights activated. Dante whistled, stepping towards a massive vehicle. The massive transport stretched almost the entire garage with green and gray streaked across it' white surface. Dante pressed his finger against a scanner. It opened the door and let them inside. Missio moved in with his brother, peering around the dark interior.

Dante left his luggage and sat in the driver's seat. He scanned his retina on the control panel. The RV recognized its owner and instantly turned on. The inside lit up with bright LED lights, blinding Missio. The garage door slowly opened as Dante gripped the steering wheel. He pressed the accelerator and drove off.

"Put the suitcases in a safe place." Dante shouted.

"R-Right."

Missio pulled both suitcases. He turned around and lifted the bed. He placed their luggage under it and lowered it slowly. Then, he spun around and headed towards the front. He joined his brother, sitting in the passenger's seat.

"Where are we going?" He inquired in a soft tone.

"You'll know." Dante shrugged as they entered traffic.

After a few minutes, the duo exited the city. The traffic thinned and let Dante drive freely. He pulled out his phone and placed it in the middle compartment. He tapped the screen embedded into the RV and dialed a certain number. Missio sat awkwardly, shifting in his chair as the speakers rang. Eventually, the call clicked and a voice answered from the other side.

"Yes, baby~" A woman's spoke.

"Hey, Isabella. Just a heads up. I'm coming over." Dante replied.

"Huh? Wai- what?! You're coming over? Right now?"

"Yeah… is it a bad time?" Dante inquired.

"N-No, actually. It's fine." Isabella coughed.

"Sorry to ask you this but…"

Right then, Isabella cut Dante off.

"Don't be sorry. I'm happy to help."

Dante smirked and drew a deep breath.

"So, is it okay if we can stay over for a few days?"

"Why? Also, whose 'we'?"

"Me and Missio. I'm fixing him and I thought getting him out of the house would be a little refreshing."

"Yeah! We've got a few extra rooms if you need."

Dante chuckled. "Thank you – thank you. I'll be there in a few minutes. Tell ya parents, okay?"

"Okay, see you soon!"

Dante tapped the screen and cut the call.

"Uh… who was… that?" Missio questioned.

Dante raised a brow. "You don't know?"

Missio shook his head. "No."

Dante turned a corner and replied to his little brother.

"You'll find out soon enough."

A few minutes passed. The RV moved into a beautiful, evergreen neighborhood. The shadows of the trees traveled across the top of the vehicle. Eventually, they halted near a black gate of a large home. The entrance opened. Dante whistled and turned the wheel. The RV drove onto the rocky tiles and parked ahead of the garage. The patriarch and his brother spun around in their chairs. Both stood up. Dante jumped off, shaking the RV.

Missio followed his brother, shaking the vehicle as well. He tucked his hands into his pockets and stopped near the front door. As Missio stopped behind him, Dante pulled him forward.

"Come on. You don't have to be That shy."

Before Missio could say anything, the door swung open. Missio peered forward, his heart racing. In front of him stood a beautiful woman who seemed to be the same height as him. The lady had wavy black hair, oceanic dark blue eyes and wore a white shirt, blue jeans and socks. She smiled and spread her arms.

"Welcome."

Dante leaned into a hug, kissing her cheek. He pulled back, glancing at the bewildered Missio. Dante chuckled and pointed his hand at the girl.

"My dear little brother, please meet Isabella – my girlfriend of over 11 years."

"And still not married." Isabella winked.

"Okay – please, don't say that. I'm not ready for marriage yet!" Dante turned around.

"Then, when will you?! It's been 12 – 12 years!" Isabella pouted.

Dante heaved a sigh, taking off his shoes.

"Just come inside."

Missio blinked. He nodded and took off his shoes, entering Isabella's home with his big brother. Isabella stepped aside, letting her two guests in. the interior of her home was quite nice. Sunlight seeped through the open windows. Dante took in the fresh air, gazing around the living room filled with greenery.

"Didn't you go to school?" Dante sat on the couch.

"I did." Isabella sat beside him. "It's like 1 o'clock. I got back like half an hour ago."

"Oh."

Dante tilted his head, seeing Missio standing awkwardly.

"Come on and sit down." He patted the sofa.

Missio nodded lazily and sat down beside his brother. Dante slapped his back, straightening it.

"You're body language is weak. Relax your body."

"Right…"

Missio relaxed his body, letting it settle into the sofa. The soft texture pressed against his skin, making him feel tired. Just then, Isabella spoke up.

"Want something to eat?" She smiled.

"No thanks." Dante replied.

"Okay. I'll get ya something." She stood up.

"Hey – wait! I didn't as–" Dante shouted.

Isabella didn't listen – humming a melody while heading to the kitchen. Dante exhaled heavily, relaxing his body.

"This girl…"

He glanced at Missio. The former lieutenant general stared at the ceiling. Dante stared at him for a moment before realizing he had something to tell. He tapped his brother on the shoulder. Missio tilted his head, locking eyes with Dante.

"So… I've got something to tell ya…" Dante stated in an awkward tone. "I kinda… fired you and Krishna from the Black ops…"

Missio jolted up. "You did what?!"
