'Are we serious?'
Koji watched as Ecchi ran away from him, his small feet quickly moving towards Cecilia.
"Welcome Ms. Cecilia, Ecchi the Endearing missed you!"
Ecchi fell to his knees, almost crying; however, Cecilia just looked down at him--her face was plastered with a cringe and a hint of pity at the sight of this young boy being so devoted to someone as old as her.
"T-that's nice Ecchi, now go run along."
She tried to speak nicely, as she didn't want to set Ecchi off or make him cry, because usually when she puts him off he cries like a baby; although she hoped this time would be different, of course--it was not.
"No! Ms. Cecilia, Ecchi wants to talk to you!"
Ecchi's face shifted to that of utter dejection and sadness--tears flowed down his face like a waterfall; if anyone was to see such a scene, they would for sure call it pathetic, which is exactly what the other kids were doing.
The other kids stared at Ecchi and started quietly whispering different things--these things, well they weren't very nice.
"So weird..."
"I feel bad for Ms. Cecilia--she has to deal with this disgusting kid..."
The whispers kept coming from all the different kids, and every single one was heard by Koji.
'Do they have to be so harsh on him? I know it's weird, but can't they let up a little on him. It's not like he's doing something wrong, he's a nine year old kid with a weird crush! Sure, it's laughable--however, how do you all hate him just because of this?'
Koji tries very hard to understand other's point of views, but these kids were really challenging that; for the most part, this was because Koji related to the boy--seeing someone that reflected his past self in a way be bullied, it was rather angering; though, Koji wasn't weak. He knew that what Ecchi was doing would often be deemed as weird, and that it was obvious normal kids would hate him for it.
However, even with this understanding--even with his view that this behavior isn't necessarily bad, he still despised it!
'Can't they stop? Just stop, he's nine!'
Koji's fists clenched, and he started to become even more affected as he listened to the whispers around him; he looked down at Ecchi and for a moment--he saw himself, crying on the ground being surrounded by bullies.
That ugly, lonely kid--despised by people, though he still somehow found a way to love them; no matter how hardened, or how morally grey Koji's views become--it will still exist inside of him.
He loves people, and cannot stand to see them being hurt like this.
Koji wanted to yell at the kids to make them stop, but then he looked at Ecchi again.
Ecchi's face, it wasn't bothered by the kids whispering at all; the only thing that reflected in his eyes was the emotions that were induced to him by Cecilia--these other kids, there words were meaningless.
So in truth, the only one being hurt here--was Koji.
However, Koji couldn't stay in a trance for long because he saw Ecchi get up and go to him; though now, a smile was covering his face.
Ecchi walked over, his mood not being affected at all by the whispers or stares--he was completely independent of his reputation, and separated from the usual insecurities kids have. Ecchi, he was obviously different.
Koji flinched as Ecchi put his arm towards Koji's face.
"It's your fault Kingsman Koji! You should have bowed at her side with me!"
Koji's eyes slightly widened, out of all the things this kid said--he came here to blame him for the obvious rejection he just experienced.
Koji instantly retaliated, although he felt for Ecchi, he wouldn't let him say that!
"What? It was obvious she would reject you--plus, it's King Koji, not Kingsman!"
Ecchi's face grew angry, and he started doing random hand signals--just like Cecilia, and responded promptly.
"How was it obvious? She loves Ecchi the Exciting--just so you know, no matter how much you say King Koji, I will still call you Kingsman Koji. Because you are the Kingsman to my King! Ahaha."
'How is he laughing while being angry at the same time?'
Koji didn't even bother with a response, this conversation was obviously useless; Ecchi wouldn't flinch at all, and no relevant or meaningful words were being said.
However, before Koji could think about what he was gonna do next suddenly a commotion was happening.
Koji looked over, and his eyes widened as he saw what the kids were screaming about.
'W-what is that?'
In the field stood a five foot atrocity that had dark red eyes, a wide body that was covered by grey spikes and red fur; it looked like a demonic toad if it had to be compared to a creature on earth. For weak Transcendents like all of them, it was utterly terrifying.
Something like this, Koji had never seen before; though, he already knew what it was.
The toad was just sitting upon the green grass, staring at the kids without moving; it's eyes were terrifying, and it was obvious what this was.
It was a beast, somehow a beast entered the yard.
'That thing... It must be a beast, but is it weak or strong? Can Cecilia handle it on her own? Obviously, none of us can.'
Koji was scared, because if this thing really was strong--they may be killed! However, if it was weak--then what the hell did the strong ones look like!?
Well, he was about to find out.
"Everyone, stay right here!"
Cecilia quickly jumped in and yelled to the kids, her green eyes narrowed into daggers as she stared at them; she was serious, and if anyone disobeyed her--well, they would for sure face immense consequences.
She turned away from the kids, now staring at the beast; she then summoned something from her hand--no, it was obvious what this was; it was a Weapon Relic.
A long, light pink blade formed; the handle was light green and the blade itself was covered in a vine; they twisted around the blade tightly, and the sharp edges of the sword reflected the sunlight--this sword, it was absolutely beautiful!
Although some of the kids may have been here for awhile, none of them had ever seen Cecilia really fight; though, that would change at this moment.
Cecilia leaned down, positioning the blade behind her back and then dashing towards the still statue-like toad; however, it didn't stay put for long--right as she dashed at it, and swung her pink sword across the air, right as it was going to pierce the toad between the eyes--it changed forms.
The toad, now mimicked a form of Ms. Cecilia; it was disfigured, the neck looking broken and the eyes sockets completely empty; however, other than that it was a perfect copy.
Cecilia came to a halt and stared at the freakish beast with disgust and confirmation in her eyes.
"Oh, as expected; you are the Indomitable level beast, known as the mimic--well, it is a pity for you; I am not a Midstreamer, you can't take me down easily."
Yes, Cecilia was an Indomitable class Transcendent!
The classes ranged from Miniscule, to Midstreamer, to Indomitable, all the way up to Demi-God!
Cecilia, though she may seem tame--she was actually extremely powerful.
Wasting no time, Cecilia gracefully swept her blade once again across the air, trying to cut the disgusting, deformed version of her with one swing; though, not everything always goes as planned.
The beast ducked under the blade, and quickly sent out its grey, decaying arm right at Cecilia--that, however wasn't all; it's hand turned into the shape of a spike!
This spike, it was aimed right at Cecilia's chest!
Quickly, Cecilia jumped up high enough to dodge it, and then turned her body down again and aimed the sword down at the beasts face.
Though, during this moment--something amazing happened for someone else.
Ecchi--who was watching from behind, saw Cecilia's panties as she jumped up!
As Ecchi saw her panties, he instantly fell unconscious on the ground--he had fainted just from seeing her undergarments.
However, Koji--who was right next to him, paid it no attention; his eyes were locked onto the battle Infront of him.
'Why isn't she using Relics? Does that weapon cost too much of her Xin energy?'
Though, right as that thought came to his mind--the vines shot out from Cecilia's blade and entrapped the mimic!
The creature struggled and screamed inside of the vines, but they just tightened around it.
Cecilia tried to keep her composure, but seeing something so resemblant of herself screaming in agony, it was terrifying.
She cleared her head and slowly walked to the creature that was still struggling to break out of the vines; her footsteps were soft and her violent determination faded away as she approached it, finally coming upon it and then raising her blade to finish it off.
However, only a fool could wish for such a simple battle.
Quickly, the beast purposely broke all of it's own limbs and slipped out of the vines; after, it took a new shape!
The beast mimicked one of the children that Cecilia taught, a little girl who was only 11.
Cecilia froze up instantly, and her gaze shook as she stared at the newly formed girl; this was too much for her, looking at a little girl she taught--now having to kill something that resembled a child, she could barely take it.
Her green eyes showed hatred and hesitance as she stared at the being, and her breath went very quiet; however, the beast didn't waste any time--it jumped at her face, it's hands transforming into claws that would undoubtably tear her face off!
Cecilia could barely react in time as the little girl, who's eyes were completely dead--jumped at her. Though, she thankfully was able to counter the attack by swinging her blade at the beast right before it hit her, and when she swung the sword directly at the "little girl" it cut her legs off.
Cecilia saw the "little girl" drop to the ground, now missing both her legs and wailing like a real child would at being harmed in such a way.
The scene was utterly disgusting, and Cecilia wanted to throw up; in fact, tears formed in her eyes as she looked down at the "little girl".
"Just die! Die!"
Cecilia couldn't take it, she launched her blade as quick as a thought down at the beast; however, it instantly dodged it!
The beasts legs grew back and it pounced at Cecilia again as it dodged to the side; it's claws forming again.
Cecilia almost screamed as her robes were torn by it's claws, as they dug into her soft flesh and latched onto her; she couldn't do anything besides grab it's head with her own hand and throw it off of her!
However, she looked down; the injury was bad, the top of her chest had a giant gash and her robes were torn; the blood trickled down what remained of her robes, coating them with a dark red color.
Cecilia felt despair, pain and determination all at the same time; though she may be injured, and fighting a beast that resembled a child, she couldn't give up or waste any time!
She grit her teeth and launched another attack at the beast, now launching even more vines at it! One of the vines twisted around the beasts ankle, and dragged it's small body onto the ground.
"You can regenerate, but I know; every beast, no matter what--can't resist a strike to the head!"
Cecilia's sword pummeled into the beasts head, the blood and brains splattered all over the ground--a horrible smell assaulted Cecilia's nose just as the bloody sight assaulted her eyes.
This beast may not be the strongest, but it was extremely terrifying due to the aspect of it's form shifting ability.
...
The kids watching from the sidelines couldn't even speak as they saw it happen; though the girl who's form was mimicked had long passed out; she passed out the second she saw her body was resembled by the beast.
However, for the kids who did witness the atrocity--they were utterly traumatized.
Seeing something of their age be stabbed and mutilated, it really was a harrowing experience.
Some of the kids threw up, most of them cried, and some of them just stared blankly.
In the back, behind all them stood Koji and Ecchi.
"What are all these idiots crying for? She just killed a beast! Haha, Ecchi's queen is so strong and beautiful!"
Ecchi had already woken up, and rather than being disgusted, he was utterly flustered at the sight of seeing Cecilia fight the beast.
"Koji, did you see that?! Her panties showed when she jumped up earlier! This is the best day of Ecchi's life! You hear me, the best."
However, Koji couldn't respond at all; he was just like the others who were staring blankly at the scene.
