Xavier's POV
I walked out of Interrogation Room Two and headed straight for my office, my mind was still spinning so hard it felt like my skull couldn't contain it.
"What the fuck just happened?" I whispered as I walked down the hallway.
The fluorescent lights overhead buzzed softly as I moved down the hallway, but I barely noticed them. My boots hit the floor in quick strides while Poison's words kept replaying inside my head.
"Alfred is Lucifer." The sentence didn't even sound right.
Its hard to believe that years of chasing shadows, years of dead ends and years even before I arrived of watching witnesses disappear, evidence vanish, warehouses burn down before warrants could be executed, and informants turn up dead before they could testify, years of Lucifer and now Poison was telling me that Lucifer was sitting calmly in Interrogation Room Three... Just like that?
I pushed my office door open and stepped inside.
"Fuck," I muttered.
