"That's an RPG!" Relying on his vision which far exceeded that of an ordinary person, Ryusei instantly identified that the black dot heading toward them was an RPG rocket.
"What do we do now?! At this speed, we're going to collide with the RPG!"
"Drive back!" Having said that, Ryusei quickly leaned out of the car window and shouted to the police car behind them: "Stop the car! There's an RPG!"
Just as Ryusei finished speaking, the car shook violently. Qi Xiaosai performed an emergency drift, and by then, the RPG was almost upon them.
Boom! The RPG landed, accompanied by a massive explosion. Thick smoke immediately billowed from the ground.
The people in the police car jumped out. There were two of them: a sturdy Black man and a woman with short blonde hair.
"Are you okay?!"
The female officer shouted into the smoke, hoping for a response.
At that moment, the van burst out from the smoke. The white van's rear section had turned black, and the windshield was covered in large cracks.
With a screech of brakes, the van came to a halt.
"That scared the life out of me." Ryusei let out a long breath. They were lucky; only the rear of the car was affected by the explosion. The people were fine, though they likely had slight concussions and ringing in their ears, but nothing too serious.
"Are you guys alright?" the female officer asked, running over quickly.
"We're fine." Ryusei opened the door and got out first, then helped Bun and the others out one by one. The back doors were broken, so only the front doors were still functional.
"Beautiful lady, might I know your name?" Qi Xiaosai immediately set his sights on the rather attractive female officer. He held a wild flower from who-knows-where in his mouth and looked at her with soulful eyes.
It actually had some effect; the female officer's face turned slightly red. Clearly, Qi Xiaosai still held some attraction for her.
"Idiot!" Ryusei punched Qi Xiaosai on the head. In a situation like this, he still had the mind to pick up girls? He really should have thrown this guy onto the RPG earlier!
"Hehe, would you like to come back to the police station with us?" the female officer said, coming back to her senses with some embarrassment.
"Then we'll have to trouble you." Ryusei nodded quickly, but then he suddenly remembered their van was broken and the police car probably couldn't fit all of them.
The other officer, the Black man, saw what Ryusei was thinking and said, "It's not far from here. We can just walk the rest of the way."
"I see. Then we'll trouble you." Ryusei rubbed his head and smiled.
Wait! These foreigners actually know Chinese?! Ryusei felt like he had discovered something incredible.
"Alice, how on earth did you manage to fire an RPG at Ryusei?" Asagami Fujino held her forehead, looking speechlessly at the giggling Alice.
"I don't know either! I was just playing around and didn't expect to almost hit Ryusei." Alice used her fingers to gesture as she spoke.
"Forget it, since nothing happened." Asagami Fujino didn't dwell on the matter. Since he wasn't dead, it was fine. Even if he had died, wouldn't Qi Xiaosai be there to clean up the mess?
"Fujino, where are we going next?" Alice asked obediently.
"To the shelter to watch the show!" Asagami Fujino laughed. "Go call September and Nyarko and the others. Tell them to stop playing; it's time for us to head out."
"Wait!" Alice grabbed Asagami Fujino's hand and pointed to her own mouth with a smile.
"You...~" With a knowing smile, Asagami Fujino kissed Alice's soft lips.
"Oh oh oh!" Nyarko, who had appeared at some point, shouted upon seeing this scene. "Fujino, you're playing favorites! I want one too!"
Nyarko ran toward Asagami Fujino, but a fair little hand pulled her back.
"You are not allowed to go!" Cthulhu's golden eyes stared intently at Nyarko.
"Cthulhu, what did I even do wrong?" Nyarko was puzzled. She couldn't figure out what she had done to make Cthulhu dislike her so much.
"Hmph!" Cthulhu only gave a cold snort in response to Nyarko's question and didn't answer, silently pulling Nyarko back with force.
Nyarko gave up resisting. Until she figured out why Cthulhu was so repulsed by her, she probably wouldn't be able to sign a contract with Asagami Fujino.
A few minutes later, everyone gathered together, ready to head to the shelter.
"Is your so-called passage the sewer?!" Ryusei looked at the sewer in front of him, black lines appearing on his forehead.
"It's to prevent the zombies from getting in, right?" Qi Xiaosai said from the side.
The female officer nodded. "To prevent attacks, we've blocked off all other roads leading to the police station. This sewer is now the only way in."
"In that case, Young Master, let's go quickly." Bun said from the side. The concussion from the earlier explosion was making him feel very uncomfortable, and he wanted to find a place to rest soon.
"Then let's hurry." Ryusei nodded and followed behind the female officer as they entered the sewer one by one.
"This is it."
Asagami Fujino and the others appeared near the police station building.
"Aren't we going in?" September asked, looking at the scenery below.
"No rush, let's wait a bit," Asagami Fujino said.
"Waiting for October and the others?" September nodded thoughtfully.
"Mhm." Asagami Fujino nodded, but then her peripheral vision seemed to catch something. She smiled at September and said, "No need, let's just go in directly."
As she spoke, she used Heavenly Movement to transfer everyone into the police station.
In a room within the police station, everyone appeared together. Immediately after, Asagami Fujino released a wave of mental energy into the brains of everyone in the station, slightly modifying their memories so their identities wouldn't be questioned. After finishing this, Asagami Fujino looked toward the room's door and said, "Aren't you coming out? Do you not want your sister's diary anymore?"
The door opened, and a small head peeked out nervously from behind it. It was undoubtedly Monica.
Monica looked at Asagami Fujino with a mix of nervousness and fear; previous events had made her realize that the person before her possessed the power to change fate.
"Take it." Taking Morrigan's diary out of the system space, Asagami Fujino tossed it directly to Monica.
Monica flusteredly caught her sister's diary, whispered a thank you to Asagami Fujino, and then quickly closed the door.
Asagami Fujino turned to the other girls. "We'll stay here for now. I've handled everything, so no one will suspect us. You guys go out and play for a bit."
The girls nodded. They hadn't spent much time in a police station, so it would be a decent experience. They all walked out the door. Cthulhu was also pulled out by Little Cang Yue. Only Alice, with her half-smile, and the cold-faced Cang Yue remained in the room.
"Want to join?"
