As the King walked around his chair, his gaze hardened, carrying an intense pressure. He said, "Aldric and Silia, you both seem to be slacking off compared to your brother. Why is that? Have your positions as Crown Prince and Second Princess gone to your heads?"
The whole room sank into dead silence as the silence grew heavier. The King's gestures grew still and furious. Both Aldric and Silia were terrified and found themselves in a valley of darkened graveyards leading toward hell. No, it was something even more terrifying—it was pure domination.
Still Aldric dared to talk overcoming the terror but as he statred talking he became nervous and anxious but still he continued and said "No....fa... Father of course not we.. are doing our best on our sides but its... Umm... Its just that we haven't grown in any aspect of power nor magic its..ugh its just like we've hit a wall we can't overcome no matter what." He finished talking trembling and stumbling, but at least he had told his problem to The King.
The King replied "Hmm. I see, so you have reached your limits and yet refuse to break them and setting new ones? Is that it, is that all you've got as a Crown Prince from "The Royal Bloodline"? If you can't break your own limits then how are you going to take care of this Throne, the Kingdom's Subjects, Vessels? I am disappointed in you, not as The King but as a "Father". Samuel slowly opened his eyes a silent calm was on his face but there was a dust of fear in his eyes hiding. But Samuel acted normal and said "Its time for a feast"
Samuel woke up and then rushed for a bath and then headed for the breakfast and started eating he was enjoying his food for real after 14 days without it he looked like he was in heaven but onluy to foul his mood the Aldric and Silia, siblings showed up. Silia said "Sheesh Big Brother why is this pig eating with us, its so gross look at the plates they are all dirty." She further continued "You really don't know how to eat food? Ohh Sorry how rude of me? I almost forgot about how would you, a piece of shit a lowlife from a mistress know about noble atticates?" She smirked and finished her insult like she dealt the final blow.
She thought she humiliated him but for their surprise Samuel actually spoke up for himself and said "Pretty talk huh? From someone who can't even break thier own limits and surpass the wall, I am pretty surprised that you had the audicity to show in front of me the person who is acknowledged as stronger and useful than you by His Majesty, Father himself? I don't quite understand is it your guts or are you plainly foolish?"
The insult felt like a stab in heart to the Princess, but at the time when Aldric would've stepped in The King Neft entered for Breakfast. Annoyed look appeared on both of Aldric and Silia's face but it disappeared even before a split of secomd beneath The King's presssence.
The King said "Quite lovely of my Children having a toiuching get together, I must say that I am impressed." As he casually spoke he turned to Samuel and said "My Dear Son? Why would you go as far to strave for 14 days straight I know you have quite some reasons for it but i wouold lik-, No love a explanation.
Samuel said to himself "Crap!! I have have to answer this Old Fox? It's not a problem but I have to give a excuse to convince him?!"
A thought struck Samuel's mind.
"As it was written the Valdris kingdom was supposed to be in ruins and the role of The King, Prince and Princess wasn't programmedthis further and I never added this details like The King being curious and the Princess being Jealous. So how did it all happened what could be secret if it was only a game it wouldn't have been like this but now this seems to be my reality. At first it's amusing but it could something more disturbing. Aside that fact I have to answer this Old man"
"Your majesty it was nothing but an experiment of this fool trying to be imume to starving and thirst in tough situation." The King unhesitantly said "I don't buy it." Samuel decided to play along he said "I don't understand what do you mean Your Majesty?"
"Hmm I get it." He turned to Aldric and Silia and looked at them before leaving and said"Our playtime is over kids I have duties as A King to fulfill." The King left and then Silia ran out of the room and Aldric followed after her staring at Samuel before leaving.
Samuel said to himself"Man this people what's wrong with them?"
The moment everyone left the room Samuel sighed, he said to himself
"What a drag, I have to complete second stage of my soul fragment training, if I want to hold my own against the world ahead of me then I must struggle like it means to me. So for the second stage I have to use the Class Devourer and devour my soul. So basically in this process I treat my soul as an object or more like a skill to devour, so I can just devour it as a skill then I'll use a buff "Soul Retract" to Repair my soul particles.
Soul Retract is a buff which I got from Sterra, its quite handy though. Soul Retract was a buff created by the holy church of Yggdrasil to restore the soul of those who's souls get shared or destroy in contracts with devils or its use to cure in cases where someone gets possesed which directly damages thier soul. A damaged soul is as good as a ship with a hole, meaning, "A broken soul is doomed to shatter."
So in order to reduce demons' and monsters' influence and to severe the roots of evil it is a must precaution, it isn't such hard thing to acquire but if a word gets out that I the Third Prince got one of these buffs the rumor about me will spread that I am "Assosiated" with demon lords and its also the reason behind my sudden change and THIS IS KINGDOM WILL BE DONE FOR.
