After returning to the small restaurant, Noelle noticed something unusual.
There was a tree growing inside the place, producing glowing bread. Paired with the knight's stew, the taste was unbelievably rich and satisfying.
"Sister, you're back so early. Was the mixer not fun?" Luca rubbed her sleepy eyes. "Brother-in-law... I was half-asleep earlier. I'll go upstairs now."
Her expression suddenly changed.
This is bad. Something big is about to happen.
"Sister went to a mixer and got caught by brother-in-law. Our family is going to fall apart."

She began stomping on Marco's face with her small feet.
"Idiot Luca, use your hands."

"Sister Noelle, let me tell you, Cedric is amazing. Even if we played cards, we probably couldn't beat him."
"Played cards?" Noelle froze.
Her thoughts spiraled out of control.
Back in her room, Noelle angrily threw pillows around.
"You jerk. You already have me, and you still look for other women."
Her eyes drifted downward.
"Is it because I'm not good enough?"
Meanwhile, Cedric and Rebecca returned to their room and started playing cards.
Tonight, Rebecca was unusually lucky and finally managed to win, pinning Cedric down in victory.
Late at night, under the starlight, Noelle stepped out of the restroom.
As she passed Cedric's room, she heard faint, intermittent sounds.
Is he raising a cat? The sound felt strangely familiar.
Without realizing it, she moved closer to the door.
Her face gradually turned red.
Her breathing became uneven.
Flustered, she quickly backed away.
The next morning, Noelle sat at the table, eating absentmindedly.
Dark circles were visible under her eyes.
"Sister Noelle, eat your vegetables," Rebecca Scarlet said gently.
She looked at Noelle with concern.
Did she not sleep well?
Noelle glanced at Rebecca.
That woman... she looks even prettier today.

"Cedric, are you raising a cat? I heard sounds from your room last night. Can I see it?"
Cedric and Rebecca exchanged a glance.

"We don't have a cat," Cedric replied calmly.
"I know," Luca suddenly shouted. "Sister Noelle must have heard sister and brother-in-law playing a game."
"Shut up, idiot Luca," Marco snapped, kicking her chair.
Noelle finally understood what she had asked.
Her face turned completely red.
She quickly lowered her head and continued eating, wishing she could disappear.
I can't lose.
If she can do it, why can't I? Her thoughts became heavier.
Exhaustion took over.
Having not slept all night, Noelle finally collapsed onto the table.
When she woke up, it was already night.
Cedric's face came into view as he gently kissed her forehead.
"Our little lazy princess is finally awake."
"Cedric, yesterday..."
Before she could finish, he leaned down and kissed her lips, cutting her off.
Her face flushed deeply, her eyes trembling slightly.
"Noelle, get some rest."
He turned to leave.
Tears welled up in her eyes.
"Why are you crying again?"
She grabbed his sleeve, her voice soft but determined.
"Cedric... I can too. Stay tonight."
Cedric paused, looking down at her.
Her face was red, but her eyes were steady.
He leaned closer, giving his answer without words.
Morning came.
Noelle slowly opened her eyes.
Cedric was already awake, watching her with a faint smile.
She immediately pulled the blanket over herself, hiding her face.
"Oh? My princess can be shy now? You weren't like that yesterday."
Cedric chuckled and got out of bed, leaving her alone with her thoughts.
Back in his room, Cedric pushed aside distractions and focused on his research.
A small spirit suddenly appeared, flying out of his grimoire.
It was Sylph, the Wind Spirit.
"You big pervert," she snapped, pointing at him.
Cedric grabbed her effortlessly and kissed her cheek.
"So our little Sylph is jealous."
"I'm not. Stop talking nonsense."
Her face turned slightly red.
She had chosen many hosts, but none were as shameless as him.
"What are you working on?"
Cedric extended both hands.
Wind Magic in one, Water Magic in the other.
"I'm trying to combine them to create Ice Magic."
Sylph circled his hands for a while before sighing.
"I have no idea."
Meanwhile, Finral Roulacase and the others had returned.
"Ah, it failed. If Luck hadn't started a fight in the street, I might have ended up with Miss Erica," Finral complained.
After thinking all night, he finally asked the question that bothered him.
"Do you two even know what a mixer is?"
Asta immediately raised his hand, "I have no idea."
Luck grinned, "Isn't it just fighting? No matter who the opponent is, I'll win."
Finral stared at them in silence.
Am I the idiot here? Is Cedric the only normal guy in this squad?
