Chapter 123 - Chapter 92: The Destination of the Daughters of the Emperor

On the communication screen, Valeria's heroic face was slightly flushed with extreme excitement.

"Goddess, the first batch of 'pilgrims'... has arrived."

Before the words had even faded, on the massive main hangar deck of the genesis, an Imperial-standard Valkyrie-class shuttle had completed its final landing sequence.

The roar of the engines had just ceased.

Hum—

The heavy hydraulic rods of the hatch emitted a dull sound as it slowly opened.

At the intersection of light and shadow, a Battle Sister—clad in black power armor, holding a Chainsword, with eyes as firm as iron—stepped out.

Behind her was an entire company, one hundred and twenty fully armed Battle Sisters.

Their formation was as neat as if drawn with a ruler, every person's movements synchronized to the millisecond, and the iron-blooded aura of those who had survived a hundred battles almost made the air in the hangar deck freeze.

Leticia, holding Terrania's hand, with Fogremia, Angronia, and Sanguinia following behind, had long been waiting there.

When that Battle Sister's gaze touched the small, blonde figure beside the throne, her iron-firm face was instantly replaced by fanaticism!

Thud!

Without any hesitation, she immediately knelt on one knee; her heavy power armor knee collided with the metal deck, emitting a loud bang.

The hundred-strong unit behind her, with movements in perfect unison, instantly knelt as one!

"Sisterhood, First Assault Company!"

The Battle Sister's voice was loud, every word roaring with faith.

"By the secret order of the Grand Prioress, we have come to listen to the teachings of His Majesty and the Goddess!"

Their fanaticism surpassed any Sisters Leticia had seen before.

It was a faith that had found its final destination, abandoned all confusion, and was pure to the extreme!

This was just the beginning.

"Goddess!"

Valeria's communication cut in again, her voice already carrying a hint of irrepressible shock.

"On the bridge's tactical board, identification signals representing 'friendly targets'... are pouring in from all directions!"

In mid-air, a massive tactical screen unfolded.

One could see that around the light point representing the genesis, in the previously empty void, green lights were popping up one after another, like bamboo shoots after a spring rain!

Some signals were disguised as bulky interstellar merchant ships, clumsily adjusting their course under the guise of "blocked trade routes."

Some signals were small escort fleets; they had directly sent false reports of "warp drive malfunction, emergency docking required" to the Imperial Sector Headquarters.

Even more exaggeratedly, an Inquisition destroyer detachment, after entering this star sector, had directly shut down all external communications, entered a "lost contact" state, and then charged straight towards the genesis!

"Alert! Alert! Logistics system overload!"

"Hangar berth occupancy rate at ninety-five percent! Requesting to enable backup cargo holds!"

"Energy distribution system overload! A large number of unknown ships are requesting to dock with energy conduits!"

In front of Valeria's command console, rows of red alarm lights were flashing frantically, and the piercing alarm sound resonated throughout the bridge.

This iron-blooded Commissar felt for the first time that her brain was about to fry.

Is this supposed to be welcoming pilgrims?

This is the entire Adepta Sororitas moving house across the stars, damn it!

"Calm down, Valeria."

Leticia's voice, like a clear spring, instantly smoothed out all the agitation on the bridge.

"Activate all engineering Servitors, and immediately convert the backup cargo area into temporary living quarters and armories."

Her gaze turned to the silver-haired beauty beside her.

"Fogremia, the planning of the reception process is entrusted to you. I want it most efficient, most perfect."

Fogremia's purple eyes lit up, and a confident smile curled at the corners of her mouth.

"As you wish, my Goddess."

She turned and left, her elegant back carrying an absolute power capable of reshaping chaos into order.

One ship. Ten ships. A hundred ships...

Ships of all kinds, like migratory birds returning to their nests, gathered from all directions and docked around the genesis, forming a massive and spectacular surrounding fleet.

Thousands of Battle Sisters walked off their respective ships.

They brought their own power armor.

Brought their own Bolters.

Brought Rhino transports, Punisher tanks, and even several heavily armed destroyers!

They had brought almost all their belongings to join this newly born kingdom of the new god!

Every hangar deck, every cargo hold, and every corridor of the genesis was filled with these heroic female warriors clad in black power armor.

When they saw with their own eyes that god-like black-haired goddess, surrounded by three perfect Primarch Sisters in the center.

When they personally bathed in the warm, fatherly golden radiance unconsciously emitted by that small, blonde figure.

Their faith was thoroughly reshaped.

One after another, the Battle Sisters, the moment they saw Terrania, were in tears and unable to speak.

They abandoned the cold laws.

Abandoned the empty prayers.

They had finally found that living, tangible... faith itself, worthy of them offering everything.

Inside the hangar deck.

A young Battle Sister, with a tactical knife, trembling yet incomparably firm, scraped off the double-headed Aquila emblem symbolizing the old Empire on her breastplate, bit by bit.

The metal friction emitted a harsh sound.

It was like a farewell.

A thorough farewell to the Decay, ignorance, and pain of the past ten thousand years.

Then, she took out a can of golden paint that had been prepared long ago.

With the most pious strokes, she painted a brand new emblem on the spot where the Aquila had originally been.

It was a blooming flower, symbolizing Vitality and Divine Charm.

In the center of the flower was a shining star, symbolizing Intellect and Battle Intent.

The emblem of the Genesis Sisterhood!

Her action was like a signal.

More and more Battle Sisters began doing the same thing.

They wiped away the old emblems and painted on their new faith.

This act, like a wildfire, quickly spread to the entire fleet!

In just a few short days.

The Mortal Legion under the Genesis Sisterhood, from the original scale of a mere few thousand, overnight, surged to a terrifying number of over fifty thousand!

Moreover, these fifty thousand plus people were not just temporary conscripts or cannon fodder.

They were the most elite, best-equipped, and most fanatical armed force in the entire Empire!

A truly massive "Daughters of the Emperor" legion had officially formed under Leticia's command!

This army would become the most loyal and sharpest mortal sword in her hand!

...

In front of the bridge's observation window.

Leticia looked out the porthole at that massive fleet, composed of over a hundred warships, which had already begun to take shape, and a gratified smile appeared on her face.

All rivers flow to the sea, ten thousand armies come to pay homage.

The first cornerstone she had laid for this home was already incomparably solid.

But amidst the gratification, a new problem also emerged.

She turned around and looked behind her.

Valeria, this iron-blooded Commissar, her war philosophy was discipline, obedience, and an iron defensive line.

Fogremia, this perfect swordswoman, her war philosophy was precision, elegance, and perfect assaults like works of art.

Angronia, this furious guardian, her war philosophy... was simply to charge up and tear all enemies to shreds.

And the newly joined Sanguinia, this Archangel, she even loathed war; her philosophy was protection and redemption, and she would never strike unless absolutely necessary.

An army cannot have four brains.

Especially four brains with diametrically opposed war philosophies.

It seemed that the first supreme military council of the Genesis Sisterhood was imperative.
