Hearing his answer, Ren's brown eyes widened and the next second, his entire face lit up with a bright smile.
The relief on his face after having his apology accepted was so obvious that Earl almost laughed out.
"T-Thank you!" Ren practically glowed with a sense of relief, and as if he was remembering something important, Ren straightened himself.
"Oh, I-I forgot something important…" With that said in a meek tone, Ren extended his hand nervously and lifted his gaze up at Earl, "My name is Ren. It's my pleasure to meet you."
Watching his attempt for their first cordial introduction, Earl quickly remembered indeed he had forgotten about the most important part…
"Earl." He shook his hand, returning a subtle smile, "Pleasure is mine too."
Ren's eyes brimmed with a wide smile, but surprisingly, the touch of his skin felt relatively cold to Earl.
