" I still can't believe it, 𝙿𝚑𝚒𝚕𝚎𝚖𝚘𝚗, you..... You literally watch my family sprung, how.., i - i knew something was up but this?, this is just above my imaginations " 𝙴𝚛𝚊𝚐𝚊 expressed with disbelief incrypted all over his face
"I've made my peace with it" 𝙿𝚑𝚒𝚕𝚎𝚖𝚘𝚗 said
"Is that all you have to say!!? " 𝙴𝚛𝚊𝚐𝚊 yelled
"Whatever I say now, what will it change?, I do not feel remorseful, although it got hard and conflicting at some point, but i'm a 𝚁𝚘𝚖𝚊𝚗 , i never go back on my word, no matter how hard it gets" 𝙿𝚑𝚒𝚕𝚎𝚖𝚘𝚗 argued
"You're just saying that to make yourself feel better " 𝙰𝚎𝚛𝚎𝚜 pointed
"That's not entirely true. I was taking to 𝙶𝚛𝚎𝚎𝚌𝚎 as a slave, I hated 𝙶𝚛𝚎𝚎𝚌𝚎" 𝙿𝚑𝚒𝚕𝚎𝚖𝚘𝚗 claimed
"But it gave you the opportunity to become who you are " 𝙰𝚎𝚛𝚎𝚜 intercepted
" Yes, but that doesn't erase hate completely, the only thing that ever came close to erasing the hate was the friendship with your family, but I was in too deep, so I gave the hate a purpose, I didn't just have a reason to hate but also gave the hate a purpose to fulfill " 𝙿𝚑𝚒𝚕𝚎𝚖𝚘𝚗 proclaimed
" What does that mean!? " 𝙴𝚛𝚊𝚐𝚊 asked, 𝙿𝚑𝚒𝚕𝚎𝚖𝚘𝚗 sighed and said
"Pay close attention, let me tell you a story, a story which occurred before the thought of you took form ".
It was dawn and the sun was sneaking behind the tall green grassroots, a 6 foot 4 young man with a six inched black cascading hair touching his shoulder, his skin was as soft as silk and as fresh as milk, his teeth, as white as snow ,his smile, dazzling and striking as he picked up some leaves . His muscles were thin, he was a slim, and very brilliant looking young man, he wore a white tunic and a black scarf handling across his neck. While picking leaves, a little girl started running towards him, laughing and yelling
" Brother, brother! " , he turned to her with his dazzling smile and the little visible sun light beaming on his face.
" Hey now, it's too early to be running around, it's barely sun rise " he said as she kept on smilling, he then picked up a little flower and plugged it in her hair and said
"Now run away fairy, run back to the house, I'll make you something when I get back, okay? "
"Okayyyy" she was yelling as she ran back, he then sighed, shook his head and smiled even harder .
Not long after, he returned to the house from the farm that was a few steps away from the house, he immediately entered the kitchen to prepare breakfast for both of them, after that, he served his little sister and himself and they started eating, while eating, she said
" Brother, that scarf wasn't on your neck yesterday morning, did she give it to you ?" He smiled and said
"I don't know what you're talking about"
"You knowwwww" she yelled
"Ohh, you're such a loud child 𝙽𝚢𝚡𝚊𝚛𝚊 " he said
"Answerrr meeee" she yelled again, cutely
" Ohh my days, just eat up, you ask too many questions " he countered, softly.
After they finished eating, he arranged the farm products he just harvested and got ready to leave the house to go sell them
"𝙽𝚢𝚡𝚊𝚛𝚊, I'm leaving now, I want you to go to 𝚉𝚊𝚗𝚑'𝚜 house and wait till I come back " he told her
"Where are you going?"
"I already told you, I'm going to join 𝚉𝚊𝚗𝚑 to sell these off, then we'll both meet at his house at dusk, understand?, behave yourself, no yelling, just be a good girl and stay with her, okay? "
" Okayy" 𝙽𝚢𝚡𝚊𝚛𝚊 replied sadly
"Ohh wipe that look off your face, I'll be back soon, I promise " he said, touched her nose then left.
On his way, while pushing the products on a wheel, he encountered some funny looking men,three to be specific,they were bullies, lazy men who basically just envied his hard work and of course his looks, they even nicknamed him "pretty face "
"Well if it isn't the one and only pretty face , the most hardworking man in the whole 𝙰𝚛𝚌𝚊𝚍𝚒𝚊 "
He sighed and aforesaid
"Ohh 𝙻𝚢𝚔𝚘𝚗, what do you want this time? "
"You see me and my boys, have been scolded a lot for harassing the good ol' pretty boy, 'oh he's just a hardworking boy trying to provide his little sister, you know his daddy is dead, leave him alone, blah blah blah" 𝙻𝚢𝚔𝚘𝚗 said, mimicking the people and then continued
"But you see yeah?, we like you, that's why we always pest on you "
" Look 𝙻𝚢𝚔𝚘𝚗 , I really don't have time for your squabbles, I have to meet the set time so I can sell off these goods "
" Oh yes, you have something to do with your life and we don't, is that what you're trying to say? " the other man said, he shrug his shoulders and said
"Well.... Yeah"
They got mad and charged at him, pining him to the ground and hitting him, he knew he had no chance so he focused on 𝙻𝚢𝚔𝚘𝚗, while being hit, he aimed his punches and kicks at 𝙻𝚢𝚔𝚘𝚗 before a figure appeared, picked the three of them off him and threw them away, and picked him up , they got up and made a run for it, promising to catch him again
" 𝚉𝚊𝚑𝚗, oh thank goodness, it's you "
"These empty headed fools again, I knew something was up , you're never behind schedule" 𝚉𝚊𝚑𝚗 mentioned
" What?, did we miss the traders? "
"No we still have time, let's go, I brought a horse, look, there it is, tie it to the goods"
"Great idea "
They tied the wheel to the horse, he was sitting on the wheel with the goods while 𝚉𝚊𝚑𝚗 was riding the horse.
"𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗"
" yeah? "
"I don't like you getting beat up by those halfwits " 𝚉𝚊𝚑𝚗 said
"You should see 𝙻𝚢𝚔𝚘𝚗" 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 replied
"You know what i mean"
"We've talked about this before"
"Your father, was a elite soldier"
" Well, look where that got us, I don't care 𝚉𝚊𝚑𝚗 , I've told you before, I'm not my father who fought his life away in the army as an honorary man, but not as an honorary father, he was reckless, not thinking about his sick wife or his unborn daughter, and died, and now that everything is on me, you want me to follow that footsteps?, no 𝚉𝚊𝚑𝚗 , I have to look after my little sister. I'll become a rich trader and give her the best life, marry and have my own kids then die as an honorary man of his family " 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 voiced
"He died for his kingdom 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 , that's something, something worth dying for " 𝚉𝚊𝚑𝚗 countered
"Apparently that doesn't put food on the table, yes people praise him but it's just praise, it doesn't really do anything "
"I told you before, if you go to 𝙲𝚒𝚝𝚊𝚍𝚎𝚕 and mention that your father was 𝙴𝚛𝚢𝚡 the Titanium , any request might be granted"
"That's just 'might' and besides, i don't need anything from them, I'll make my own way as I have been doing " 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 claimed
"I'm just saying, I want you to be strong, to protect yourself" 𝚉𝚊𝚑𝚗 said
"Let's call a spade a Spade 𝚉𝚊𝚑𝚗, you want me to be strong, take on my family name and become a soldier to protect your daughter when I marry her " 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 interjected
"Well... "
"You daughter doesn't need protection as long as I have enough money to take care of her " 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 mentioned
"I know, I know, it's just something I always wanted for my daughter, you see " 𝚉𝚊𝚑𝚗 revealed
" What does your daughter want? " 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 questioned
"She wants you, I know and honestly I like you too young 𝙴𝚛𝚢𝚡 , you're intelligent, good looking, hard working with so much potential but... "
𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 interrupted with a groan and said
"Let's just.... Can we just watch the road, please? "
"Sure"
Hours later, at dusk, 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 and 𝚉𝚊𝚑𝚗 returned home after successfully selling everything off to the traders, it was indeed a good day as long as the products were concerned. 𝙽𝚢𝚡𝚊𝚛𝚊 saw the riding to the compound and she quickly ran out to welcome them, 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 quickly came down the horse to hug her
"Here, I bought you some sweets " 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 offered
"Thank you brother, you're the best brother " 𝙽𝚢𝚡𝚊𝚛𝚊 proclaimed with excitement, 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 chuckled softly
"Awww " the girl 𝙽𝚢𝚡𝚊𝚛𝚊 was with , who came to welcome them too expressed
" 𝙻𝚢𝚜𝚊𝚗𝚍𝚛𝚊, come help me with these loads " 𝚉𝚊𝚑𝚗 requested
"I'm coming, father " she replied and said to 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗
"I'll be back for you big boy " with a wink
"I'll be there " 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 replied as he was walking inside with 𝙽𝚢𝚡𝚊𝚛𝚊 , then 𝙽𝚢𝚡𝚊𝚛𝚊 asked
"What happened to your face brother"
"Ohh it's the bad guys"
"Did you get them this time? "
" sure did..... "
Moments later, 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 was sitting on a bench in the back of the house, watching 𝙽𝚢𝚡𝚊𝚛𝚊 chase butterflies around and chuckling, 𝙻𝚢𝚜𝚊𝚗𝚍𝚛𝚊 walked in , sat with him and held his arm, they kept an eye contact for a moment but she suddenly asked
"Are you hurt?, what happened to your face? "
"Ohh, no don't worry, it's just a scratch" 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 claimed, she suddenly frowned and said
"That's not just a scratch, tell me, what happened? "
𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 sighed and said
"It's 𝙻𝚢𝚔𝚘𝚗, they stopped me on the way again, thank goodness your father came, might have been worse, but seriously , I am fine"
"Those dogs again " she said as she held her head, then continued
" What did my Father do about it this time?"
"Uhmmm.... Helped me up, sent them away" 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 responded
"Well, that's not enough, he should be doing a lot more than that " 𝙻𝚢𝚜𝚊𝚗𝚍𝚛𝚊 insisted and she bent her head
"Don't worry, I can protect myself. Hey, look at me " he requested, she looked at him and he held her face with subtlety and said
"I'm fine, okay ? ", she smiled but said
" But it keeps happening "
"I know, I'll work on it, okay? , I promise" 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 assured
"Well... Ok, but I'll still talk to my Father"
"No no, you don't have to my little dove "
"But I will"
"Alright.. I guess" he sighed and said as they both chuckled gently .
They sat on that bench for hours, talking, smilling, laughing hard and the occasional smooches ,while watching 𝙽𝚢𝚡𝚊𝚛𝚊. Hours had gone by and it was bedtime for 𝙽𝚢𝚡𝚊𝚛𝚊 , 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 stood up, walked to her and said
"It's time for bed, little fairy, that's enough flying for today "
"Aww, i want to catch more" 𝙽𝚢𝚡𝚊𝚛𝚊 said
" Come on silly, you've got all day tomorrow " 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 suggested
"Nuh uhhh, I'm not going" she countered as she looked away abruptly
"Ohh, really?, i know you want to be chased but unfortunately , I have not the energy for that " 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 said as he was slowly sneaking up behind her, she noticed and ran away laughing
"Dang, that was close " 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 expressed, as he ran slowly after her, making her think she can actually run from him, 𝙻𝚢𝚜𝚊𝚗𝚍𝚛𝚊 was chuckling, watching from the bench.
"Alright, that's enough" 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 said as he picked her up immediately, and was taking her inside
"Let's run a little more " 𝙽𝚢𝚡𝚊𝚛𝚊 requested
"Nope, that's enough" he replied
"Aw, i take it back, you're not my best brother anymore" she stated, 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 scoffed and said
" I'm your only brother, what are you talking about " he continued laughing, 𝙻𝚢𝚜𝚊𝚗𝚍𝚛𝚊 too, 𝙽𝚢𝚡𝚊𝚛𝚊 was frowning, then 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 added
"Don't worry I'll be your best brother tomorrow, okay? "
"Okay.... " she replied , as he took her inside and came back out momentarily, he was smirking hard
"She is seriously cute and funny " 𝙻𝚢𝚜𝚊𝚗𝚍𝚛𝚊 denoted
"Right?, my life would be boring without her" 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 added
"Right... You both make me so happy" 𝙻𝚢𝚜𝚊𝚗𝚍𝚛𝚊 said
"Exactly the same for me too, where'd I be without the two of you " 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 said, fixed her hair, sighed and continued
"You both are the reason I wanna keep going, the reason I'm not giving up "
"Pretty face huh? " 𝙻𝚢𝚜𝚊𝚗𝚍𝚛𝚊 voiced out of nowhere
"What? "
"Sorry, I just thought about your nickname"
" ohh yeah, I hate that name "
" I think it's funny and true"
" ohh you think I have a pretty face? " 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 pressed
"Yeahh" she replied, scoffing
"Well, if i have a pretty face then you have the face of a goddess , 'cause this face got nothing on yours sweet " 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 expressed
"Ohh, stopp" she blushed
"I'm just saying the truth, I'm not kidding"
"Yes you are"
"I'm joking ?" He asked
"Yeah "
"Why?, because I'm smilling ? " he enquired, she shrugged her shoulders while smilling
"Ok, look at me now" he tried to frown, she couldn't stop laughing at the face
"Ohh, stop that look" she said, still laughing, he continued trying to frown and she said
"If that's how you actually look, I don't think they'll be calling you 'pretty face"
"Yeah, probably.... scary face or somethihg" he said as they both continued laughing
"Maybe then 𝙻𝚢𝚔𝚘𝚗 won't be so much of a bother " he added, she laughed even more, and as if they planned it, they both snorted, they both got shocked, look at each other awkwardly but funny and they burst into an even more louder laughter until they heard 𝚉𝚊𝚑𝚗 yell
"I'm trying to sleep here!!! "
"Oh sorry Father " she apologized as they both tried to minimize the laughter, they kept talking laughing till the night ran out and they both fell asleep on each other.
The next day at noon, when they all were already awake, you see they had become so close that it already felt like family, I mean 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 and 𝚉𝚊𝚑𝚗's family. The four of them together were all they had, after 𝚉𝚊𝚑𝚗 lost his wife to a small plague that occurred in 𝙰𝚛𝚌𝚊𝚍𝚒𝚊, around the outskirts of 𝙶𝚛𝚎𝚎𝚌𝚎. You see, 𝙰𝚛𝚌𝚊𝚍𝚒𝚊 was a small city within the outskirts of 𝙶𝚛𝚎𝚎𝚌𝚎, beside huge mountains, it was where most of 𝙶𝚛𝚎𝚎𝚔's trading took place. Everybody there were obsessed with money, unlike most city were young people strive to become soldiers, here youths strived to become rich, they were real hustlers here but i digress, within those mountains lies different species of animals, it was never considered dangerous because years ago the mountains were scouted for life threatening animals and everyone that was found was eliminated, this operation was carried in King 𝚇𝚎𝚗𝚘𝚗's era, so the mountain was declared safe, that meant that the people of 𝙰𝚛𝚌𝚊𝚍𝚒𝚊 could live without fear , however a century later, a plague erupted from the mountains , coming from the animals and spread across 𝙰𝚛𝚌𝚊𝚍𝚒𝚊, it affected so many lives and many fell sick but thanks to 𝙶𝚛𝚎𝚎𝚔'𝚜 intelligence, a cure was made and many lives were saved but a few died and that included 𝚉𝚊𝚑𝚗'𝚜 wife and 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗'𝚜 mother. The disease lead to their relationship, 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 met 𝚉𝚊𝚑𝚗 in the hospital, 𝙽𝚢𝚡𝚊𝚛𝚊 was still a toddler and when 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 fell down crying for his mother, it was 𝚉𝚊𝚑𝚗 who picked up even though he too had just lost his wife and that's how they started talking and then 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 eventually met his daughter 𝙻𝚢𝚜𝚊𝚗𝚍𝚛𝚊 and they fell in love, it's no short of irony that their beautiful love story began in brutal tragedy, that's what made their love stronger.
That noon after they all woke up , 𝚉𝚊𝚑𝚗 had taken 𝙽𝚢𝚡𝚊𝚛𝚊 to see her favorite show in the middle of the town, it was mainly for kids, meanwhile 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 and 𝙻𝚢𝚜𝚊𝚗𝚍𝚛𝚊 who woke not long ago were both surprised 𝚉𝚊𝚑𝚗 took her there himself
"She must have yelled so much that he could no longer resist" 𝙻𝚢𝚜𝚊𝚗𝚍𝚛𝚊 implied, with a subtle laugh
"I'm sure, she is hard to resist " 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 stated
"You were supposed to take her there but you were still asleep, she's gonna go crazy on you when she gets back " 𝙻𝚢𝚜𝚊𝚗𝚍𝚛𝚊 mentioned
"Right, and i always love to take her there, last night was something, couldn't wake up early enough, what's even scaring me the most is, she didn't even bother waking me up, she must have been that irritated" 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 said
"Woww, but i think it's good my father took her, I mean I'm surprised" 𝙻𝚢𝚜𝚊𝚗𝚍𝚛𝚊 expressed
"Maybe he loves the show" 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 claimed
"It's a kid's show, he's a grown adult man" 𝙻𝚢𝚜𝚊𝚗𝚍𝚛𝚊 pointed out, chuckling
"Heyy, I love the show, he might be tough all day but there's a side of him that loves kids shows, I guess" 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 explained
"I don't know , I think he's a little bit too old for that " 𝙻𝚢𝚜𝚊𝚗𝚍𝚛𝚊 said
"Cut him some slack"
"By the way, what are we doing today? " 𝙻𝚢𝚜𝚊𝚗𝚍𝚛𝚊 asked
"I don't know, nothing? " 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 replied
"So...how about we use this free time to water the garden " 𝙻𝚢𝚜𝚊𝚗𝚍𝚛𝚊 requested, 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 sighed and said
"I thought we were gonna rest today? "
"Uhh, yeah, I know I said that but think about it, it'll be fun, just me and you in the garden " 𝙻𝚢𝚜𝚊𝚗𝚍𝚛𝚊 tried persuading him
"Hmm, you know what? , you're right, what's better than spending garden time with you? " 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 agreed
"Right?, you're so sweet, wait for me, I'll be right back, lemme grab the garden tools" 𝙻𝚢𝚜𝚊𝚗𝚍𝚛𝚊 said, excited as she walked out to pick the tools, on her way out 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 was admiring her body, wondering how lucky can he be to get a girl as beautiful as she was, everybody knew 𝙻𝚢𝚜𝚊𝚗𝚍𝚛𝚊 was pretty, she was known for her beauty, like actually famous in 𝙰𝚛𝚌𝚊𝚍𝚒𝚊 for nothing else but her beauty, ever wondered why her father always sell off every goods he harvests, yes you thought right, it was because the buyers know he's the father and that alone attracts them, some of them patronizes because they think they might have a chance on her if she buy enough from her father, that's how pretty and endowed with embellishing features she was. She was young and strikingly beautiful, that's why her father wants her to be protected.
As soon as they both stepped into the garden, they paused, the scent of Jasmine flew across their nose and then 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗, astonished by the aroma, said
"I don't think I'll ever get used to this" as he breathes in the alluring air. Though small, the garden seemed alive with colors, clusters of white and purple flowers lined a stone path. Lavender, rosemary, wildflowers flourished among the stones, and gentle hum of bees was the only sound to disturb the afternoon peace. Moments later, the afternoon sunlight spilled over the surrounding greenery and over their body as they continued trimming, the sun was hot and they got sweaty, 𝙻𝚢𝚜𝚊𝚗𝚍𝚛𝚊 got tired, so she sat on the greenery floor, staring at 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 taking off his shirt because of the heat, it felt like he was moving in slow motion as he was taking it off. He took it off and still in that motion, he drove this hands through his long black hair, and wiped the sweat of his face, he then looked back at her and gave that his dazzling smile, and she froze, she started seeing him blend with the array of colors in the garden, he saw her looking mesmerized and asked
"You okay there, my little dove? "
She was speechless, he then stretched his hands and picked her up, held her waist and drew her close to himself, and suddenly out of nowhere, while the sun was still beaming down, breeze blew, threw their hair around, and they kissed, she then held his hand and dragged him with her, he quickly picked up his shirt and ran with her, they ran out of the garden, to 𝚉𝚊𝚑𝚗's huge cornfield , as the were running forward, the breeze was blowing the clothes and their hair backwards, she still held his hand, all he could see was leaves flying about them and her beautiful long hair touching his face, her face wasn't visible, he was happy, they were both happy and having the time of their lives. He abruptly stopped, drew her to himself again , she tied her hands across his neck and he held her waist , they joined their heads together, closed their eyes as the wind blew, leaves flying around, the tall grass moving about, then the breeze blew off his black scarf, they both got shocked and started laughing
"Don't worry I'll make you another one " 𝙻𝚢𝚜𝚊𝚗𝚍𝚛𝚊 assured
"But i love this one " he said sadly and he attempted to pursue it
"I know what you're thinking, but don't do it " she said, smilling, even though she indeed wanted him to do it, and he looked at her, smirked and ran after the scarf, she joined him, both laughing and they chased the scarf, the scarf was flying too high from them, so she climbed his neck and he carried her while running, she was stretching to catch the scarf, she then fell
"Are you okay? " he asked, shocked and concerned, she didn't answer, he was worried because he couldn't see her face properly due to the tall grasses, as he drew closer, she startled him, and started laughing, he held his head and said
"That is not funny"
"Yes it is"
"You scared me"
"Hey, look, the scarf is getting away" she said, looking at him, smilling hard
"You still wanna run after it? "
"Of course, c'mon! " she said as she attempted to drag him
"Alright, alright, I'm coming, damnn, you sound so much like 𝙽𝚢𝚡𝚊𝚛𝚊 right now"
"Really? "
"Uh huh"
They both continued chasing the scarf, laughing and having fun. Moments later, scarf got trapped on a tree.
"Well, that was fun while it lasted " 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 said
"Wait, you're not gonna try and get it" 𝙻𝚢𝚜𝚊𝚗𝚍𝚛𝚊 asked
"Wait, are you gonna try and get it " 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 returned
"Well... Yeah, obviously"
"Darling, you're crazy "
She sudden started shifting back, 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 was surprised and curious what she was doing
"What is that about? " he asked
"Shhhhh, just watch " she replied, he started to figure out what she was up to and said
" No, no, no, don't do it "
"Too late, here comes the bird"
"Oh Lord" he said as she ran and jumped, lifted herself and caught the scarf, he was stunned, she was excited she caught it and forgot about landing, 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 realized but was too late, when she realized, her eyes opened wide, knowing what was about to happen and then she fell, her butt to the ground and started groaning, although 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 was concerned, it was a little funny, he knew it was a serious fall, so he tried holding his laugh.
"Are you laughing right now" she asked furiously
"Me, noo, it must be the bird" he replied still holding
"You're obviously trying not to laugh right now"
"Must have been the wind " he replied

"Never mind, are you gonna get up from there or... "

She tried holding back her smile and said

He walked up to her, the ground he was on was slightly higher than hers, that's why the jump was impressive and the fall was more hurtful, he stretched his arm and reached to pick her up, she held his hand and he pulled her up

"You sure? Or you just want a piggy ride" 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 denoted
"Of course I'm sure, I didn't even say anything about carrying " she defended
"But it's what you want, rightttt? " he said, raising his eye brows and giving funny expressions to make her admit it, she looked away trying to hide her smile
"I know that's what you want " 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 claimed as he bent his back, preparing it to carry her, waiting for her to hop on
"Come on, get on, don't be shy " he added
"I'm not getting on , I'm not kid "
"But you're hurt, how you gonna get home " he asked
"I'll figure something out" she stated while looking away

"I'll take that " and then he bent again and she hopped on, and he started taking her home, she then tied the black, now torn scarf gently around his neck
"Thanks, it's a beautiful scarf, won't trade it for anything else, wait... it's torn" 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 noticed
"Yeah I saw that, don't worry pretty, I'll fix it " 𝙻𝚢𝚜𝚊𝚗𝚍𝚛𝚊 assured
"That sounds awfully weird " he said, they both laughed
"Anyways, thank you sweet, you're the best " he added and she got red as a beetroot. They went silent for a moment until 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 broke it by saying

"Do you need protection"
"Protection?" She asked, she realized what he meant, sighed and said
"By the gods, you've been listening to my father again"
"I mean he kinda has a point, you know, you're a rare gem "

The day has driven to dusk, they had spent all day having fun, now they are on their way home, the atmosphere, chill, wind still travelling around, the smile on their faces were so wide that it touched their hearts, to them if there's a heaven, they are already living it, heaven is any place as long as they were together.
