Louis' POV
We stayed like that for a while, tangled and warm, the air in the room filled with our shared sins.
Eventually I rolled to the side, pulling her with me so she rested against my chest. Her leg draped over mine, our bodies still intimately connected.
She looked up at me with a lazy, sated smile. "So… about that shower you were supposed to take?"
I grinned, brushing damp hair from her face. "Only if you're joining me."

After our little midday wind-down, I willed myself to stand up from the bed.
Claire groaned at the disconnect. We were both still laid, naked and exhausted from our little sexy time. I chuckled at her reaction.
Left to me, I would have loved nothing more than to stay — just the two of us, calm, quiet, that soft bubble of a room with nothing demanding anything from either of us. But we'd slept enough. And I had somewhere to be before dinner. Somewhere we both needed to be.
I was nervous. That part I'll admit.
