Louis' POV
By the time we reached the room, I was fairly certain nothing could top what she'd already seen.
I was wrong.
She walked straight to the window, and when the view opened up in front of her — the ocean as far as the eye could reach, burning orange and deep blue in the late afternoon light, the island falling away in white terraces beneath us — she went completely still.
"We can see the ocean from here," she said. Almost a whisper.
"We can," I said. "That's the point of being here, baby."
"Louis." She turned. Her eyes were bright. "I never knew. I genuinely never knew this place was this beautiful."
She looked back out at the water, shaking her head slowly, and I stood behind her and said nothing, because some moments don't need anything added to them.
This was one of them.

After countless gasps and wide-eyed reactions, Claire finally settled into the room.
