After saying that, I just remembered that you needed to address the judge as "Your Honor."
I realized my mistake, but did that even matter? The judge was nothing but an old, wrinkly actor who got paid by Ray to act in this mock court. Everything was just a game for Ray to play with me, so I shouldn't be too bothered by formalities and shit.
Thus, I leaned on my chair, trying to relax as I watched the whole fake court with great interest. I ignored everyone's stern gazes, as if they were truly offended by what I said just now or by how I acted.
'Damn, Ray has spent so much just to make this trial realistic. If I didn't know that it's all just how unique Ray's proposal is, I would've thought that I'm in a real courtroom right now.'
Those words in my head were enough to make me feel at ease throughout the whole trial.
Everyone's gaze returned to normal after that, and the judge continued.
