He immediately drove to her house. As soon as he arrived at her villa, he saw a man standing downstairs. He walked up and asked, "Are you one of Miss Lowell's suitors, too?"
Alaric Davenport was taken aback. Just as he was about to speak, he heard Michael continue, "Do you know where she is?"
Alaric Davenport shook his head.
Michael sighed. "She called me earlier. I could hear her talking to someone, but she never actually spoke to me."
Hearing this, Alaric Davenport's expression turned cold. He quickly pressed, "When did she call?"
"I got the call about fifteen minutes before I came over."
Alaric Davenport rushed back to his car. Michael followed him, asking, "Where are you going?"
"She might be in danger."
As soon as Michael heard that, he stopped caring that Alaric was his rival and jumped into his own car.
He drove for a bit before stopping. He realized Alaric seemed to be driving with a destination in mind, so he immediately started following him.
