After spending the last two days with her, Rosalind had discovered that Flora's personality was actually very easygoing. Once she warmed up, she became quite talkative.
It was just that everyone else constantly flattered her because of her status, which in turn made her feel stifled.
"Oh, Mrs. Davenport, you understand me so well! You have no idea how much of a headache it is to always have to put on airs around them."
"Well, there is actually something I need your help with. No, I should say it's for my husband, but he isn't here right now. He's returned to our home country."
Flora patted her arm. "Don't worry about it. We can talk about it when he gets back. Why don't you come over to my house then?"
