Chapter 25 - edition 22 "the years begin "

📖 EDITION 22 — "FORGING LEGENDS"

Season 1

Opening Scene

Year 1 of the Ten-Year Countdown

The Edition Universe had changed.

The laughter that once filled the Headquarters had become the sound of swords clashing.

Training grounds replaced gardens.

Libraries became research centers.

Every Version carried only one thought in their mind.

"Ten years."

The Writer stood atop the Council Tower.

Looking across the Headquarters...

Thousands of Versions trained day and night.

The countdown had begun.

Writer

"We don't have the luxury of failing again."

Behind him...

The Dreamer approached.

Dreamer

"Everyone is training harder than ever."

The Writer smiled faintly.

Writer

"They're not training because they want victory."

"They're training because they finally understand the cost of defeat."

Barbaric Author

Deep within the mountains...

Barbaric Author stood before an enormous waterfall.

His broken sword from the First War rested beside him.

He stared at it silently.

Barbaric Author

"This sword broke..."

"Because I relied only on strength."

He picked up the broken blade.

Instead of throwing it away...

He melted it inside a blazing forge.

For days...

He forged.

Again...

And again...

And again.

Finally...

A new blade emerged.

Longer.

Sharper.

Far stronger than before.

Barbaric Author

"This time..."

"I won't protect people with power."

"I'll protect them with purpose."

His training continued.

Day after day.

Without rest.

Futuristic Author

Far beneath the Headquarters...

The laboratory never slept.

Machines filled every room.

Blueprints covered every wall.

Broken inventions from the First War surrounded him.

Futuristic Author

"I built weapons..."

"But forgot to build hope."

He began creating something entirely different.

Armor.

Energy shields.

Medical drones.

Rescue technology.

Machines meant to save lives...

Not simply win battles.

Months passed.

His inventions became more advanced than ever before.

Redeemed Author

Outside the Headquarters...

Redeemed Author traveled across villages.

Instead of teaching combat...

He healed the wounded.

He trained young Versions to protect others.

One student asked...

Student

"Why don't you teach us how to defeat enemies?"

Redeemed Author smiled.

Redeemed Author

"Because the greatest victory..."

"...is preventing a battle before it begins."

The Dreamer

The Dreamer trained differently.

Not with weapons.

Not with strength.

He trained his mind.

He studied every battle fought throughout history.

Every victory.

Every defeat.

Every mistake.

Every sacrifice.

Each night...

He returned to the battlefield where the First War had taken place.

He stood before the broken swords.

Remembering.

Learning.

Growing.

Dreamer

"I won't let history repeat itself."

The Forgotten Version

The Forgotten Version disappeared for months.

Nobody knew where he had gone.

One night...

The Dreamer found him.

Standing before thousands of ancient books.

Dreamer

"What are you searching for?"

The Forgotten Version slowly looked up.

Forgotten Version

"Not strength."

He closed an old book.

Forgotten Version

"Answers."

Meanwhile...

Far beyond the borders of the Edition Universe...

Nemesis trained in silence.

No armies.

No battles.

No speeches.

Only endless discipline.

Every sunrise...

He sharpened his sword.

Every sunset...

He meditated.

Johan spent his days reading ancient manuscripts.

Understanding the minds of both allies and enemies.

Malice fought creatures that even the Council feared to approach.

Each victory made him stronger.

The Shattered One mastered the forgotten arts hidden within ancient ruins.

His movements became so silent...

Even the wind failed to notice him.

One evening...

The four stood together beneath a crimson sunset.

Malice

"They're becoming stronger."

Johan smiled.

Johan

"They should."

The Shattered One quietly asked...

Shattered One

"Do you think they'll forgive us?"

Silence.

Nemesis looked toward the distant stars.

Nemesis

"I don't need forgiveness."

He slowly closed his eyes.

Nemesis

"I need them..."

"...to finally understand."

The wind carried away his words.

One Year Later

The Headquarters looked completely different.

Every Version had grown.

Every warrior had improved.

Every lesson from the First War had become part of their training.

The Writer stood before the entire Council.

Writer

"One year has passed."

He looked toward the massive clock counting down the remaining years.

9 Years Remaining

Writer

"Nine years left..."

"And we have only just begun."

The camera slowly pulled away from the Headquarters.

Far in the distance...

Nemesis watched from the peak of a mountain.

He smiled.

Not because he underestimated them.

But because...

They were finally becoming worthy opponents.
