At the hospital, the saga continued.
The doctor's report had changed once again, and this time it was even worse than before. After several examinations and emergency procedures, the conclusion they reached shattered whatever hope Xavier had been desperately clinging to.

The complications caused by the stab wound and the venom had become far more severe than they initially predicted. At this point, they could only focus on saving Asher Devereaux.
