A cloaked fallen angel appeared, wings tucked like a predator at rest.

"I send Banishment of the Darklords to the Graveyard."
Jounouchi swallowed. His throat felt dry.
Aoi didn't even look at him—she looked past him, at the next move.
"Now I activate Darklord Ixchel's effect."
She paid without hesitation.
"I pay 1000 Life Points and apply the effect of Banishment of the Darklords in my Graveyard—add The Rebellious Darklord to my hand. After that, 'Banishment' returns to the Deck."
Aoi LP: 5800 → 4800
She exhaled once—steady.
"And now—Darklord Lucifer's other effect. Once per turn, I send cards from the top of my Deck to the Graveyard equal to the number of 'Darklord' monsters I control. Then I gain 500 Life Points for each 'Darklord' card sent."
Aoi's field was crowded with wings and shadows—four "Darklords" staring down Jounouchi.
"I control four 'Darklord' monsters. I mill four cards. Three of them are 'Darklord' cards—so I gain 1500."

Jounouchi looked at the four towering figures on her side.
Cold sweat slid down his temple.
Aoi's fingers tapped her Duel Disk.
"I change Darklord Ixchel to Attack Position."
Yami Yugi's eyes narrowed. "She's going in."
Aoi raised her hand.
"Battle."
Her wings unfurled.
"Darklord Ixchel attacks Red-Eyes Slash Dragon!"
Ixchel rose into the air, hands crossed before her chest as black light condensed into a spear—then detonated.
Red-Eyes Slash Dragon shattered into fragments of steel and flame.

Aoi didn't stop.
"Darklord Nergal attacks Fiendish Thunder Emperor—Malicious Demon!"
A single hand gathered darkness; the next second, it punched through Jounouchi's monster like a guillotine.

Honda's face went pale.
"Crap… she still has two monsters that haven't attacked, and Jounouchi's field is empty!"
Mokuba clenched his fists. "At this rate, it's over—Aoi wins."
Seto scoffed, arms folded. "Tch. A second-rate duelist—he can't even last a full turn in front of her."
Aoi lifted her chin, eyes utterly calm.
"Finally—Darklord Lucifer, direct attack."
The pressure in the arena spiked—like the air itself was about to break—
"Activate Trap—Necro Fusion!" Jounouchi shouted.
Aoi's eyes widened, just a fraction.
"Hoh. Necro Fusion…?"
Jounouchi's voice steadied. He wasn't done.
"Necro Fusion lets me banish Fusion Materials from my Graveyard face-down, then Fusion Summon from the Extra Deck!"
He pointed to his Graveyard as if ripping the last thread of hope out of it.
"I banish Red-Eyes B. Dragon and Fiendish Thunder Emperor—Malicious Demon—Fusion Summon!"
Flames burst from the floor, swirling into a dragon-shaped furnace.
"Come forth—Archfiend Black Skull Dragon!"
A demon-dragon wrapped in hellfire materialized, heat shimmering off its armor like a mirage.

The crowd gasped.
"Is that Jounouchi's new ace?" someone blurted.
Shizuka's eyes lit up. "Big brother…!"
Aoi's gaze sharpened.
"So it's that one. Annoying… but not enough."
She set a card with a soft click.
"I set one card. End turn." (Hand: 1)
"My turn—draw!"
He drew, shoulders still shaking—but his eyes were clear.
My chances are low… but I'm not quitting.
He slammed a Spell down.
"I activate Pot of Greed—draw two!"
Then he moved fast—too fast to hesitate.
"I Normal Summon Red-Eyes Wyvern!"

"And I banish Red-Eyes Wyvern—Special Summon from my hand: Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon!"
A black-and-red dragon descended with a metallic roar.

Even Seto's expression hardened.
Then Aoi's voice came—flat, absolute.
"Jounouchi. The moment you summoned Red-Eyes Alternative…"
She pressed the button.
"…I flip my set Trap."
A blade of black light split the air.
"I activate The Rebellious Darklord."
Jounouchi froze.
Aoi continued, each word like a final nail.
"This card—by sending one 'Darklord' monster from my hand or field to the Graveyard—I Fusion Summon a DARK Fusion Monster using materials from my hand and/or field. Then I gain Life Points equal to the ATK of the monster sent for this effect."
She looked at her remaining board—then made the call.
"I send Darklord Nergal to the Graveyard."
Her wings—Lucifer's, Ixchel's, Ukoback's—rose as if answering a command.
"And I fuse Darklord Lucifer, Darklord Ixchel, and Darklord Ukoback—threefold fusion."
Aoi's chant was quiet—but it carried, like scripture rewritten in blood.
"Black wings that blot out the sky… six-winged angel who raises the sword of rebellion… heed my call and descend upon my field!"
A sphere of violet-black radiance swallowed the three Darklords.
Cracks spread across it like an egg about to hatch.
Then—
It burst.
A twelve-winged archangel descended—holy and blasphemous at once—white, cold face framed by a halo of purple-black light.
