Chapter 141 - Chapter 141 The Quilt Smells Good

As the moon slowly rose and the two returned to the apartment, Tornado immediately pinned Allen onto the bed.

"Bear with it, I'll be gentle," Tornado reminded him before sitting directly on Allen, pulling open his clothes.

Allen spread his hands helplessly: "Miss Tornado, with you pressing down on me like this, how am I supposed to cooperate with the examination?"

"Less nonsense! Lie still! I need to check the status of the Monster cells in your body!" Tornado's ear tips were slightly red, but her movements didn't stop at all. Green Psychokinesis seeped into Allen's body like silk.

"Strange," Tornado frowned. "Aside from that mass of energy in his abdomen that lingers, everything else looks very normal."

Her frown deepened, and her small face was taut.

Allen lay on the bed, feeling Tornado's Psychokinesis moving through his body. Her control over Psychokinesis was indeed exquisite. If he hadn't deliberately suppressed the activity of his cells, he probably would have been discovered long ago.

He looked at Tornado's focused profile and said softly, "Perhaps you're overthinking it?"

"How could that be? Your body wasn't this strong before. Hey, Rookie." Tornado suddenly leaned down, her green curly hair falling beside Allen's cheek. "Are you really not feeling anything unusual?"

Allen could clearly smell the faint scent of shampoo in her hair, and her unique girlish fragrance. He pretended to be calm and shook his head: "Aside from the wound still hurting a bit, everything else is normal."

Tornado's nose almost touched Allen's face. Her emerald eyes stared intently into Allen's, as if trying to find some flaw.

"You..." Tornado's voice suddenly became a little soft and tender. "Are you really not feeling anything unusual?"

Allen could clearly feel her warm breath on his cheek, carrying a faint girlish scent. He subconsciously held his breath.

"Aside from the wound still hurting a bit, everything else is normal," Allen replied, feigning calmness, but his heart rate quickened uncontrollably.

Tornado's Matsuge trembled slightly, and her green curly hair fell by Allen's face, causing a tickle. She seemed to realize the ambiguity of their position, and her ear tips and cheeks turned red at a visible speed.

"Hmph!" Tornado suddenly straightened up, her green curly hair fluttering violently. "Consider yourself lucky! No abnormalities detected for now!"

She floated to the bedside, her back to Allen, adjusting her slightly disheveled collar, her voice betraying a hint of imperceptible panic: "But... but that doesn't mean you're fine. I'll continue to monitor you."

Allen sat up, looking at Tornado's petite back. Moonlight streamed through the gap in the curtains, casting a silver outline on her.

"Tornado, if... I mean if, I really turn into a Monster and go against the Association, what would you do?" He finally couldn't help but voice the question in his heart.

Tornado's body visibly stiffened. She slowly turned around, a complex emotion Allen had never seen before flashing in her green eyes. If it had been before, she might have unhesitatingly said she would deal with Allen.

But now, after her time with Allen, Tornado began to hesitate. He was truly a good person, an excellent hero. After a moment of internal struggle, she spoke her answer.

"I'll personally take care of you, but I'll do my best to keep you from turning into a Monster," her voice was almost inaudible.

A brief silence fell in the room.

Allen suddenly smiled: "Then I'll count on you to do your best to stop me."

"Idiot!" Tornado's green curly hair suddenly flared out. "What's so funny about that!"

She floated in front of Allen, gently punching his chest with her small fists: "You take this seriously! If you dare to turn into a Monster, I'll, I'll... I won't forgive you."

Tornado's voice grew softer and softer, eventually becoming almost a mumble. She turned her face away, her ear tips slightly red.

Allen looked at her like this and, on a whim, reached out and ruffled her hair: "Don't worry, I won't make things difficult for you."

"Who, who allowed you to touch me!" Tornado's delicate body trembled, and she dodged as if shocked, her green curly hair fluttering violently: "If you dare to touch me again, I'll chop off your hand!"

She floated to the corner of the room, her back to Allen, tidying her disheveled hair, but her heart raced uncontrollably.

"You sleep on the sofa tonight!" Tornado ordered without looking back. "If you dare to come near my bed, I'll throw you out the window!"

Allen looked at the only single sofa in the room, then at his tall figure, and sighed helplessly: "I can't fit on that sofa."

"I don't care about you!" Tornado suddenly turned around, dangerous light flashing in her green eyes: "Either sleep on the sofa, or sleep on the floor, choose yourself!"

Allen raised his hands in surrender: "Alright, alright, I'll sleep on the floor."

He got up to get extra bedding, but Tornado suddenly used Psychokinesis to roll up all the blankets.

"These are mine!" She piled all the blankets on her bed like a protective kitten: "You figure it out yourself!"

Allen looked at the empty wardrobe, then at the mountain of bedding piled on Tornado's bed, and couldn't help but laugh: "Are you building a nest?"

"None of your business!" Tornado burrowed into the covers, only her emerald eyes glaring at him: "Turn off the light! Go to sleep! No talking!"

Allen shook his head, turned off the light, and lay on the floor. Moonlight streamed through the gap in the curtains, drawing a silver line on the floor in the middle, separating the two into two worlds.

The room fell silent, with only their faint breathing audible.

After a long while, Tornado's voice suddenly came from the bed: "Hey, Rookie."

She ultimately couldn't bear to let Allen sleep on the floor all night.

"Hmm?"

"Is the floor hard?"

Allen turned his head and saw Tornado lying on the edge of the bed, her green curly hair hanging down, glowing softly in the moonlight.

"It's alright, not too hard," he answered truthfully.

"Hmph," Tornado retreated into the covers. "Serves you right."

A few minutes later, a blanket suddenly fell from above, covering Allen.

"Don't misunderstand!" Tornado's muffled voice came from under the covers: "I'm just afraid you'll catch a cold and infect me!"

Allen pulled the blanket up, his lips curving into an unconscious smile: "Thank you, it smells good."

When Tornado heard Allen say the blanket smelled good, she sprang up from the bed as if electrocuted, her green curly hair instantly flaring out: "You, what are you sniffing, you pervert!"

She crossed the silver line the moonlight had drawn between them, rushed in front of Allen, snatched the blanket back, wrapped it into a ball with Psychokinesis, and threw it into the corner: "Don't sniff it! Pervert! Lecher!"

Allen spread his hands innocently: "I was just telling the truth... I wanted to compliment you."

"Shut up! I don't need your compliments!" Tornado's ear tips were crimson: "Go to sleep! If you talk again, I'll throw you out the window!"

The room fell into darkness, with only their faint breathing remaining.
