and just then it felt something pierced into one of its tail, turning to look at what, it was a black rod, and then another of its tail and before it could react all nine of its tails were restricted with large black receivers, only then did it see sasuke crouching horizontally on a wall behind it.
With its tails pinned down into the water and some on the earth, turning around to attack sasuke with its arms proved difficult when suddenly it saw sasuke gather lightning into his left palm as he kicked off the wall headed straight and fast at its head, the avatar tried to charge up another tailed beast bomb while swatting away with its hand, but its limb was cleanly cut off with the chidori while not slowing down at all and the tailed beast bomb not fully charged was intercepted quickly as sasuke sliced down from its head to the legs cleaving it fundamentally into two before an explosion sounded on its head which was the intercepted out of control tailed beast bomb.
With that both kurama avatars were taken care of and all that was left was Naruto and the gedo statue which had now also taken the fifth tailed beast and just now was about to take in the sixth.
Sasuke motioned his two fingers into the air while staring intently at the gedo statue.
"too slow" he said and pumped in more chakra into the gedo statue from his end.
Although he saw that it would severely handicap his chakra reserves which was full and he planned to use and go against Naruto in the final clash, he also foresaw that if he didn't wrap this up and lost control of the rinnegan eye which he had been forcing open despite the strain for once, the the gedo statue would be un-summoned and this would have been all for naught and so he choose the better option which was to lose some chakra now.
With that the gedo statue as if feeling the renewed energy immediately became vigorous and immediately dragged in the sixth tailed beast, followed by the seventh almost immediately, and then just as he was about to drag the eight Naruto who had been struggling with repelling the chains and dragging the tailed beasts simultaneously using their left over chakra signature and kurama chakra within him focused everything else on the eight tails, the chains tried to wrap around himself sensing the nine-tails in him but he used the truth seeking orb to create a circular shield around him as he pulled with all his might.
He would've blasted open the restriction holding the tailed beasts but kurama had earlier told him it would not make a difference, the moment the chains anchored to them, they must have already awoken from the genjutsu, their ability to resist is already hindered and suppressed by those chains, that was when he remembered the chains were special and made solely for suppressing tailed beasts.
