"i understand that much" sasuke replied and in a flash left their presence in which Naruto followed until they were both finally at the valley of the end
A soft breeze blew and hair ruffled, both fated to be friends, brothers, allies and enemies finally stand face to face against each other.
Maybe this was the last chance they had to reconcile with each other, the last chance they had to reconsider their paths and forge on a neutral ground, the last chance to put all grudges aside and look to a better tomorrow… but both had their convictions and things to prove, things to fulfil, and so they took in a final deep breath.

And so they charged at each other and then bam!
A clash of equal strength with their arms, when they both suddenly pulled back in their own ways, sasuke dispersed the force by spinning in the air before he landed and Naruto made a screech on the earth as he used his body to forcibly bear the brunt of it and moved only about a meter backwards.
Both stared at each other again this time from each of their positions before running towards each other to engage in a taijutsu bout.
Naruto threw a straight jab towards sasuke face which he dodged by tilting his head and reciprocated the gesture towards his ribs calmly, Naruto threw another with his left hand again which sasuke weaved under only to strike the other side of his ribcage calmly.
Naruto reeled back two steps to gain space but sasuke followed after with a straight punch which Naruto blocked with both arms on his face leaving his below open for a kick to the ribs again forcing a grunt out of Naruto but sasuke did not relent and with an even more straight face he stepped in close for another punch which Naruto blocked but sasuke like he could predict his moves always slipped another attack through his defenses.
in frustration Naruto tried to gain the distance to use his jutsu however sasuke kept up a relentless counterattack and pressure until Naruto seemingly had enough and yelled creating a kind of mild shock-wave but was immediately struck with an uppercut however his aim was accomplished as even with him flying backwards in the air, he finally had a chance to weave the hand sign for the shadow clone jutsu.
Three clones of Naruto appeared beside and behind him in a puff as one caught him and with a twist threw him back at sasuke who blocked with both his arms in front of him before kicking him away only to be seized by another flying Naruto at him which he dodged, but another came immediately and even faster he couldn't react quickly to and got tackled to the ground both rolling from the force and ended with sasuke being below Naruto at the edge of the mountain cliff.
