Mia Grant made time to go back for her high school homecoming.
Ian Sinclair had also received an invitation, but he was on a business trip abroad that day. Since they had been in the same class, and she now held the status of his soon-to-be family, Mia Grant naturally went to make an appearance on his behalf.
Upon entering the familiar office, Mia Grant saw her former homeroom teacher tidying up.
Hearing footsteps, Ms. Murray turned around and was slightly taken aback when she saw Mia Grant.
Soon, she recognized her. "It's Mia Grant, isn't it?!"
Ms. Murray quickly put down what she was holding and asked with a smile, "You've gotten more and more beautiful. I almost didn't recognize you. You look like you just stepped out of a TV show."
Mia Grant smiled too and quickly greeted her.
"Please, have a seat." Ms. Murray asked, "Did you come alone?"
Mia Grant was surprised and retorted, "Well, how many people were you expecting to see?"
