Ian Sinclair's arrival plunged the private room into silence once again.
Mia Grant glanced at the door, one eyebrow raised. She was both surprised and a little pleased.
Ian met her gaze from across the room, then guiltily looked away.
An hour ago, Mia had asked if he was busy, and he'd said he was still in a meeting.
Right. The man who was supposedly in a meeting on the other side of the ocean had just shown up in Jynsia an hour later.
Ian walked up behind Mia, naturally wrapping an arm around her shoulder. He then shot a look at the person who had just been speaking. "It's been so many years. How are you all still this dense?"
"I'm genuinely curious how you came to that conclusion."
The person was a member of the school's basketball team back in the day and knew Ian well.
He was already stunned, his hand gesturing back and forth between them. "So you two... are really... together?"
Ian leaned down and planted a kiss directly on Mia's cheek. "This is my wife."
